We recently had our new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000+ boiler supplied and installed by Deakins, a local company that we have dealt with for many years. I would especially like to praise the two engineers who overcame all the difficulties to complete the job with courteous efficiency. Overall an excellent service from a first class company, well done and thank you.

Muz and Riley came to fit our new boiler, They were polite, tidy and very informative, These are the kind of people I would have working for me if I had a business. They area great asset to Deakin plumbing, and would recommend them to anyone.

I had Deakins replace a combination boiler located in my loft. From first contact through to completing the job Deakins were extremely professional and great to deal with. On the day the plumbers were extremely polite, the job went without any hitches and I now have a new boiler and roof flue perfectly fitted and all working great. They also respected my property by covering virtually every floor space with protective sheets and covers, tidied up everything away afterwards and ensured all information handed over was understood. I will definitely use Deakins again, thank you.

I contacted Deakins to install a full central heating system. New boiler. Copper pipes, radiators, so not a 1 day job!

5 days later, work completed to a very high standard.

Neil and Riley arrived every morning before 9, keeping us informed of everything they were doing, and keeping each room relatively clean and tidy. They always swept and wiped each surface before they left each evening.

Always Excellent Service
Deakins has become my 'go to' for all plumbing and heating work as well as for regular servicing. Their staff are always polite and helpful and very well informed. It's clear that their approach is to make sure the customer's need has been properly looked after rather than to get as many calls into the day as possible. They have fixed and serviced our boiler and also our underfloor heating as well as giving me helpful advice about how to get the best use out of the system as a whole. I like the fact that the pricing is clear (or at least as much as it can be before faults have been diagnosed) and payments are handled through the office rather than 'negotiating' with the particular plumber who attends the job. Overall, it is great to have found a plumbing service that I can really trust. I have been using Deakins for 3 years since I moved into the area and will continue to do so. Thanks to all the staff there.

I had a leak in my bathroom cistern which had done a bit of damage. I contacted Deakins and they sent a lovely chap called Joe who identified the problem immediately. They kept in touch with me and sent Alex round this morning who took lots of measurements and pictures of the damage I had a message to say exactly when he was arriving. He was fantastic and even cleaned up for me. From Nicola and farah in the office to the boys who came to my house I can’t praise this company enough.

We have used Deakin's several times and are very pleased with their service.

I initially used this company 7 months ago to replace a broken shower pump. I chose this company based on their locality and high review score.

I was initially somewhat taken aback by the phone sales person, who had a very aggressive approach in demanding an £80 booking fee, before an appointment would be made, which I paid.

The plumber attended and installed a like for like replacement for the pump.

Five months later, the pump failed, so I recontacted Deakins to fix the fault under warranty. The same plumber attended and contacted the pump manufacturer (Salander) who instructed the plumber to carry out checks re water pressure and static head. Salamander confirmed the pump installed was unsuitable.

The plumber left saying he would speak with his boss re arranging ordering and installing a suitable replacement pump, with my having to pay the difference in cost between the defective and the required pump. That was 4 weeks ago. A week after the plumber attended, after I had contacted the company twice, I was sent an invoice detailing installation of a different make of pump, which included labour for nearly £600. After chasing up the matter, I spoke with Chris Deakin, expressing my concerns and he said he would look at this and get back to me. This did not happen and I again had to chase the matter up.

I have made several phone calls over the past couple of weeks, only on each occasion to be told they would get back to me. They never did.

I contacted Deakins this morning and spoke with the Sales receptionist and was told I would have to contact Salamander directly to arrange delivery of a replacement pump and to then re-contact Deakins, who would charge for installation.

I am appalled by the lack of accountability and due diligence demonstrated by this company. I have since spoken with a reputable plumber, who assured me that a system check should have been carried out after the first pump failure. This would have identified that an upgraded pump was required. All I have asked is for this company to correct their mistake, at minimal cost to myself.

I have contacted Salamander myself who were clearly surprised at the situation. I have ordered a replacement pump and arranged a different plumber to complete the job.

On the evidence I have seen, I believe this company only cares about making money and takes little responsibility or accountability for their work, or their mistakes. I am in no doubt I would still be waiting for a response, had I not repeatedly chased them up, with no success.

I will never use this company again and would warn others to go elsewhere!

A MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO MUZZ!

Our boiler failed without warning and we were told we would be waiting three weeks for a replacement. With it being a combi boiler, that meant no heating and no hot water at all. In a busy working household, three weeks without the basics is simply not possible.

Deakins, were outstanding. Muzz carried out the work and he was exceptional from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout, worked cleanly and respectfully, and handled the job with real professionalism. Another engineer joined him for the outdoor work and he was just as helpful, even though I cannot remember his name. Both of them were a credit to their company.

I would strongly recommend. They stepped in when we needed urgent help and delivered exactly what they promised.

We recently had new radiators fitted by Alex and Riley. Both were friendly and worked very hard to fit them to a high standard. They arrived on time as arranged and left the job tidy. There was a small issue with one radiator but that was fixed promptly. All staff we have dealt with have been friendly and helpful. Thank you for all your hard work, would definately recommend.

We had a new boiler fitted 12 months ago with Deakins so it was due an annual service. This was carried out by Muz. What an absolutely lovely person he is. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and so very helpful. Muz also capped off a gas fire to make it safe and fixed a leak on my kitchen tap. He cleaned up really well and left everything as he found it. Thanks very much Muz. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Our elderly parents toilet developed a significant leak causing damage to the ceiling below. Knowing the age of the affected customer, Deakins responded immediately. Chris arrived within the hour, reassuring our parents that all would be sorted. Chris replaced the soil pipe seal and did everything possible to clean/repair the affected area. Every time Deakins are called they display a kind, reassuring and professional service. The resulting invoice was more than fair. We totally trust both the service and caring attitudes of Deakins. Once again THANK YOU !!! Chris and Deakins.

Once again Muz arrived to do a yearly service on my Gas Fire and he was excellent yet again, Fire was stripped down and serviced, tested and put back together with minimum fuss, Muz was very polite and informative as always., thankyou. Top man! 😊

I phoned Deakin's after my boiler developed a fault. A couple of days later an engineer 'Muz' arrived. He was very polite and very knowledgeable and explained exactly how my boiler worked and the faults it had. Because the boiler was quite old and was too high up we decided we needed a new one and the choices were given based on the size of our property, and because we have a conservatory which limited access a flush fitting flue was also required.
Neil and Riley came to decommission our old boiler and fit the new one in the correct position. They too were very polite and knowledgeable and worked hard to get the new installation done in one day. Thank you Deakin's, a great job and a great price.

Muz came to service the boiler and hot water cylinders, so polite and efficient. Informed us what he was doing and why. He is a credit to the company, one of the nicest young men you could meet and certainly knows his job.

This is the third time we have used this company and each time the company has ben very efficient, very quick and the people sent out very courteous.
