Deakin's Plumbing & Heating LTD Avis 

We have just had our gas boiler service by Neil who is a very pleasant person. This is the third time we have used Deakin's since 2020.

During the COVID19 lockdown we were having difficulty in finding someone to come and service our boiler and Deakin's were the only company to respond and complete the servicing.

We have been impressed by the quality of staff they have, the quality of the work and the time they take to do a thorough job.
We highly recommend them and are currently thinking about taking out a service plan.

Have used Deakins a few times now and they've always been great. Recently I had a couple of new radiators installed - a quality, professional job as always. Great work and thanks to Neil D, top bloke. Thank you to all at Deakins!

Rob recently completed our new bathroom, he was highly skilled and professional in his work and everything was to a very high standard. Rob was polite and friendly and kept us up to date on progress all the way through the work. He did a great job and we would highly reccommend Rob, his colleagues and Deakins,

Just to say a big thank you to Deakins and Rob in particular who did a fantastic job of replacing our cloakroom, en-suite and bathroom recently. Rob is the consummate professional, punctual, polite, tidy, hardworking and explained each stage of the work in detail. In fact it was a delight having in our home.
Ultimately, a job well done and we are delighted that we engaged Deakins to do the work - the whole process was painless and we will definitely utilise their services again.

After parting with the unusually required pre-visit £78 fee and scheduling an appointment; I later had cause to cancel the plumbers' appointment via email. Farrah replied by email to inform me that this had duly been cancelled, and asked me to provide my bank details so they could issue a refund. This was on Tuesday 07 March (morning). After providing these details, I still haven't received my refund (it's now Saturday 11 March)- and I highly doubt I'll be seeing it either...! A total bunch of thieves. Avoid Deakins Plumbing and Heating Ltd at all costs!!!

UPDATE AFTER WAITING 10 WORKING DAYS:
What a surprise - no refund given, and the bog-standard response from Deakin's. Why the need to be contacted again when you already have the required information to process my refund? Also, the email with my details (along with the dates already provided) can be easily retrieved from your system.
I refuse to waste any more of my time in chasing the monies stolen from me. Clearly there was NEVER ANY intention of refunding me!

Unlike Deakin's Plumbing & Heating Ltd, there are many other decent & trustworthy businesses out there who'll actually DO what they say...

I'll be sure to spread the word so no-one else has the misfortune of dealing with this unscrupulous bunch of thieves!!

I requested advice and an estimate for a replacement boiler and from the first response to the job completion, I have been more than happy and would definitely recommend Deakins. Adam and Joe did a great job, they were friendly, the work was done speedily and everything was finished off as promised.

asked them to move their van over 3 hours ago and stop banging the doors, parked right outside my house some 25 feet from my living rom window, still not moved it and still opening and shutting van doors, even showed them the communal parking area about the same distance from where theyre parked now. bloody ignorant.

Very professional. Engineer was also generally very helpful and gave me plenty good general advice about plumbing system of my property

I was recommended this family ran company by word of mouth and I'm so glad I used them, honesty, trustworthy, price point is bang in, I honestly couldn't ask for more. I think we've used Deakins around 4 times now, servicing, an extension which required their skills. They arey go to now for any plumbing needs.

Have used Deakin’s for years and wouldn’t use anyone else! Always a very professional service from all their engineers that have been to our home and have always found their prices more than reasonable.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Would not trust this company to carry out work on your home I wanted a quote for how much my boiler would cost to fix they gave me a quote of nearly £1500 with list of problems which took them all of about 20 minutes and wanted £100 for there time thought it was a bit expensive so got a second opinion where a gas engineer came out and gave me a quote of £500 so we let the engineer do the work which was not a list of faults just a pump for the boiler which is now fixed and working fine would really not recommend using this company as they will list faults which are not there

Get a second quotation over £1000 in difference with price and not the problem that these cowboys said
