Deakin's Plumbing & Heating LTD Avis 

I have used Deakins a few times for jobs. New storage heater, new consumer board, new valves & dual fuel oven connected.
Each of these jobs were quoted & completed with professionalism. The ladies on the phone who listen to your queries are lovely and friendly & you don’t feel rushed to finish the call.
All the engineers I have had the pleasure of meeting are all friendly, smartly dressed and come when they say they will.
Tidy, considerate of your property, no mess left behind.
My recent job of a new consumer board was after a full decorating. Very neat, no marks at all!!! Impressed. I believe it was Craig who did this fitting, Thankyou Craig.
They are all very good at what they do. I will use them again & again.

Long story short, called out to look at some toilets that weren't flushing properly, said couldn't do the job on 1 of the toilets so was left without a toilet for over a week whilst awaiting said part that I had to chase up 3 times! During this time the toilet began to leak which it did not do before, sent someone back to "fix" after a week the toilet didn't work at all and ended up having to get a different company to properly fix it. Although Deakins did knock some money off, it definitely wasn't enough to justify the work they did and the fact we had to pay someone else to fix what they couldn't, paying for a part that was effectively useless as broke after a week....if you need a reliable plumber that will not rip you off don't use this company!

DO NOT USE. I contracted this lot to repair a simple flushing system for a toilet and a dripping kitchen tap.
Perhaps a simple job, not for Deakins ,invoiced for 4 hours labour (over £250) and charged for the engineer "just nipping out for a spare part" evidently they charge for travel time too whilst attending a job. When I contacted the 'family owned business' - a pay or we send the bailiffs round attitude is their standard response. BE AWARE !!!

I recently had a service on a boiler installed by Deakins last year. Again it was a pleasure to deal with them again.
The engineer turned up as promised did a good job and left the site clean an tidy when he went.
From the moment i spoke to the lady in the office to book the job to the engineer leaving it was a very professional service.
I will definitely be using Deakins again for next year's service.

Bye bye British Gas. Had a much better quote for a new boiler from Deakins than British Gas. From the outset they were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The boiler was installed and associated work done to the highest standards. Staff were friendly and professional throughout the process Would recommend this company without hesitation.

I can’t recommend these guys enough! They are so reliable, professional and take pride in their work. We have had so much work done from plumbing to electrics and we wouldn’t trust anyone else. Always friendly and on time, highly recommend!

Deakin's recently installed a new Worcester boiler and hive into our home. From start to finish the service was faultless and we would recommend them to anyone. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to talk us through all of our options before sending us a very reasonable quote with a thorough price breakdown. On the day of installation the plumbers were professional throughout and removed our old boiler and installed the new one, leaving zero mess afterwards. After working hard all day the plumbers then took the time to carefully demonstrate how the boiler and hive worked and were very clear and thorough with their explanation. Since having the new boiler we have had zero issues with it, but if we had I know we could contact Deakins and receive support straight away. We would recommend Deakins to anybody as we have benefitted first hand from the fantastic service that they provide.

Electricians Tom and Ben came and did fix our connections and two chandeliers. They did a brilliant job. Extremely efficient and neat job done. They were very polite and friendly and answered all my questions. They left the property very clean and tidy. Very happy with them.

A shocking service provided, even though they have installed (replacing once) this unit twice in 6 years. So this would be their 3rd visit to repair a BOSCH Greensprig water boiler. They replaced certain parts, unit was working when they left but the unit then failed after 2 days. A new cause for the failure was the over condensation created. Which had they called the manufacturers / researched properly, this would have been highlighted at the beginning. As such 2 x visits, 2 x (overpriced, marked up) spare parts to be then told that Deakins are unable to fix the boiler and would be uneconomical. As such they gave us a Manufacturers number to phone along with an email ( I had to chase for) about the issue with this certain boiler, which quite simply was pointless as it repeated what Deakins told me. Deakins "offered" to quote for a full new replacement (would be a 3rd one in 6 years). Which we never received, was also told that there would be no charge for labour as goodwill, due to them not being able to fix it (twice). Quite simply Deakins washed their hands of the Issue, but prompt for sending out an Invoice, for over priced parts and a labour charge all be it with a 30% discount, but not the no charge as told by Mr Deakins himself! Shocking company to deal with. Be careful of over pricing, lack of knowledge, lack of follow up and overall customer care. Problem is its a strong market for these trades men and can get away with it.

Only found Deakins recently and have felt more than satisfied with their work. To date they have fitted a new combi boiler, re-sited some pipework and this week replaced our old and dated electrical consumer unit. Once again the tradesmen from Deakins, Tom and Ben, were exceptionally professional and thorough. Always willing to answer my questions and explain what they were doing and why. That made me very confident in the quality of their workmanship. Consequently, when requiring any electical or plumbing work in the future I will look no further than Deaking.

From answering the phone, turning up on time, to the professional and courteous service we are more than happy and would recommend Deakins. They offered sound advice and options to fix or replace boiler with no pressure. Quotes came back quickly, the new boiler replacement went smoothly and Adam and Jake who completed the job were excellent.

Just had new boiler fitted by Deakins. From the initial contact to completion of the job the communication has been excellent. Friendly staff who are true to their word and turn up when they say they will. I’ll certainly be using them again. Many thanks to Scott the engineer.

My family have used Deakins over the past few years, a new bathroom, new radiators, new boilers as well as some smaller jobs, resealing and boiler servicing. So when my daughter moved house we wanted to make sure that the gas and electrics were safe, we had no hesitation in calling them to check it all. As it turned out the boiler needed some new parts and the electrics needed some attention. So glad we called them !! Thanks Deakins for all your help and for providing a first class service !

From start to finish the level of service this company provides is second to none. Received a quote for a replacement boiler within a couple of days, new boiler fitted the following week. If you're fed up of tradesmen not coming back to you start using Deakin's they will contact you when they say they will. Tradesmen when at the house ensured house was kept tidy throughout, all rubbish taken away, you wouldn't have known they had been. Installation is very professional. I can highly recommend this company.

Great experience. Arrived on time and worked non stop. Boiler fitted and area around it tidied up. Had slight problem witha couple of radiators nor warming up properly. Reported in morning and sorted same afternoon. Highly recommended.
