top quality gaming PC
I first found Digital Storm during COVID when my PC stopped working. I usually went to FRYS Electronics but they all closed. I looked up many other Gaming Computer companies online and settled on Digital Storm. They had the most options regarding performance level and price point. It exceeded anything I had in the past from computer builds from FRYS when they existed.
I recently went back this year to upgrade my computer. I called and was arranged a call later from a service representative to assist in my gaming needs. I play online games and need a high-performance CPU and GPU. They created a system for me and sent me the itemized list and price point. The one thing that I believe separates them from many other gaming computer companies is the personal service. It's the reason I only will go back to Digital Storm. It's the highest standard.
I have bought two pc’s from this company…
I have bought two pc’s from this company. One 10k and another 3k pc both top of the line specs. I will be buying my third pc once I’m ready through digital storm once again. I have no complaints, if you do buy a pc pay the extra 100$ and get priority build. If they can’t build it within 5 days and ship it then you get money back. I would choose this company if you looking to have a custom pc built.
This is 5th system I've purchased from…
This is 5th system I've purchased from Digital Storm I haven't had any issues with any of them.
From start to finish 5 stars
From the time I order till the time I showed up. I was kept in the loop. I was informed of where it was and when I would get it.
Stormlight Archive
The company kept me in the loop as my (custom) system was being built and tested. The system arrived on time. Our previous system from Digital Storm has been very solid, and this one seems to be as well.
I was disappointed that the company apparently doesn't really support linux, but I have to say that with the combination of Windows and WSL I have everything I need. Not to mention the fact that some stuff that is standard in linux (ssh, for example) has been ported to Windows by Microsoft.
Highly recommend
Had several questions regarding hardware, software, shipping, etc. Called before placing my order and they were able to answer all of my questions. Product is up to my standards, functions perfectly and looks beautiful. No issues. There are some things I wish could be further customizable but those are based on hardware limitations. Item arrived less than two weeks after placing my order. Would purchase from again.
Everything was great
Everything was great. The website was super easy to navigate. They had good explanation of what every part was. Super easy to customize and I feel I got a really good system for the cost. It runs like a champ and so happy I used you guys for this pc.
This is my third Digital Storm…
This is my third Digital Storm computer. If they made an inferior product I would not be a return customer. Each of my prior two systems are still run in to this day. In the decade I’ve been a Digital Storm customer I have had exactly 1 service issue when a coolant fitting sprang a leak. Even then they sent me the replacement tubing promptly allowing me to return my story full functionality within days and at no additional cost (as my systems are at the extreme high end I always purchase the extended warranty). In three years when I upgrade again I will instantly choose Digital Storm. Purchasing once proved they make a good product. Coming back proves again and again that I’m happy with my decision.
Trash mf pc
Terrible. Awful "company" There is not a single piece of information on how to turn off this shit RGB LIGHT. Even with this trash remote that doesn't work 99% of the time. Fantastic company could recommend to anyone you despise because this is truly a shit build and an even more shit "company".
I would give negative review if I…
I would give negative review if I could. When you spend almost 10k on a computer you would hope that it works. To start it took almost 6 months to get. Then we had to send back 2x. They finally said they couldn’t fix it. Never worked right. Now they won’t give me my full money back. I wouldn’t care about the 300 for shipping had the Computer worked & I just didn’t want it. But no. Never worked. Kept over heating. We had to buy my son a computer from another company. It works great & didn’t take long to get it. I WOULDNT BUY FROM HERE
I've purchased 2 Velox Computers from…
I've purchased 2 Velox Computers from them. Starting in 2020, and again in late 2025. The builds were superiorly built for rigorous usage. They held up to years of design, video production and 3D Modelling service. The machine itself spoke volumes but their support team was just as helpful in the process of upgrading GPU's mid usage in 2024. I was able to and understood the ability of upgrading specific Nvidia GPUs and knew I was safely within the correct power output levels as well as heat cooling levels. Now, with my latest build, I can safely say that within 10 days of it being ordered, it is being shipped. That is unheard of in custom build ordering. I look forward to buying my 3rd Digital Storm in 2030.
I had an absolute stellar service from…
I had an absolute stellar service from them, not to mention an incredible gaming computer, at a great price. I had a minor Bluetooth issue and called customer support, and they were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly (not outsourced to India).
Even when I went through the process of choices, the tech guys suggested a lower tier base model but with better hardware.
I couldn't recommend Digital Storm enough. I've had the computer for years, and it's a magnificent piece of art. Don't be swayed by the negative comments; this place is like Yelp. Everyone comes to complain but you don't hear the same amount of praise from the people that zero problems.
A nice Box And A Great Concept
It wasn't DigStorm's fault that the carrier dropped the box and mashed the P/Sup through the back screen, etc. It was MY fault for not specifying a MILSPEC wooden crate to handle ground delivery across the U.S. The result of that was the PC hadda go back to sunny California and from there to a FedEx Claim Adjustment Inquisition. I build stuff and ship stuff and I charge plenty for MILSPEC crates and that is the only choice: No cardboard for pieces that are 65 pounds. But the machine inside is the issue, and D-S went right ahead and put another one together for me and this added weeks and weeks for me to suffer without a PC, but Hey! It wasn't the factory's fault. And getting them to build me a new one with all new pieces/parts meant waiting another month. The second on came and two of the rubber bits that hold the glass windows broke right off, but here's the rub: The panels are not well protected. Inside, however, I'm approaching 48 hours of systems provisioning and it seems my cats are beaming telepathic commands while I sleep, sometimes right at the Model 19 Kbd.
Beware of Lemons
My first PC from Digital Storm was the best PC I had owned up to that point, so I when it came time to replace the old boy, I went back to DS. What I got this time was a genuine lemon. I have to admit part of the problem was me. But upon delivery of the PC, things were wrong. A fan had come loose and was being nicked by the power supply's fan. That alone should've sent up a red flag. But months down the road, I would start having games I was playing freeze up. I talked to Digital Storm. Their answer was to wipe the hard drives which I foolishly refused to do. I should've sent the PC back.
It took me over a year to finally realize the problem, and I'm still not exactly sure what it is, but the symptoms are that the SSD and less so the HDD get bottlenecked during write operations, and when the SSD does it, it freezes the PC... and during FPS games it would lag so long I would lose server connection, never mind trash my ability to play. I don't know how you send out a PC like this. I got shafted, a lil by myself, mostly from DS. I'm still using the POS but not for long.
Do not buy from them
Do not buy from them; I got a pc build with an RTX 5090. It melted hard within 6 weeks and welded the 12v high power cable to itself. Was playing BG3 and not overclocking, just routine use. I worked with them to send back the PSU. They told me how to package it but not to worry about it, they just needed to verify it had melted the power cables and they would replace it under warranty. Well, it shows up and magically the locking part of the PCIe connection is just snapped off. One little part, recessed, wrapped in like 7 layers of bubble wrap, packing paper and foam. Obviously there is no way to prove it, but it looks really sketchy, and seems likely to be intentional. They first claimed I broke it uninstalling the GPU. Then when there were pictures and documentation verifying that didn’t happen. I got shuffled to a manager that forever more said it was damaged in shipping because I didn’t package it properly and my warranty was void, they offered to bring my PC to working order if I paid them the low low price of 3500 dollars. They left me stranded and fighting with them for 6 weeks as they leaned in hard to screwing me over. They gave me a loopback connector to try and run the PC with integrated graphics and long story short there was promptly a short in the water cooling system and now the entire thing is a humongous paper weight that won’t even boot. I’ve now been fighting with them for longer than the PC functioned. Their best and final offer after this long was to knock off their profit margin when reselling me a GPU. I think that speaks volumes. They currently are willing to go to court rather than lose the cost of one GPU, that obviously broke through no fault of my own, from their bottom line. Do you want to buy from them if this could happen? Answer is easy.
Absolute nightmare experience.
I bought my wife a computer for Christmas and had significant issues right out of the gate. I had two seperate AIO bubbles, as well as frequent crashes while playing games. Trying to solve this with Digital Storm was an absolute nightmare and the saga went on for months. You are better off going to Microcenter to purchase a computer
BUYER BEWARE!
For context and to frame the below I provide this review as:
• a former CETsr(Certified Electronics Technician-Senior Level)(10 years)
• a former IPC Trainer for 600,610,620 and J-STD (bare PCB, Populated PCB, Cable&Wire Harness, and Solder) (16 years)
• Worked in Dod Electronics/Computer Engineering, Manufacturing, Networking and Integration (16 Years)
• Have built close to 1000 Computers (Servers, PC's, Workstations, SFF) in my career. (with my own hands)
I chose DS for their advertised relationship with Nvidia. Earlier this year I hunted for a vendor that could acquire RTX GPUs in a more timely manner than the general public. I wanted a quality product that could act as a foundational layer of my home AI dev lab. DS appeared to check all the boxes. I also had some familiarity with DS as I had purchased a similar machine via my role at one of the largest Defense Contractors and had nothing but a stellar experience (Purchase, communication, delivery, set-up and use). Little did I know that my previous experience would be an exception and not the rule.
I configured My PC and locked in my configurations. It would be a Large purchase ($15K+), but I had felt it would be more than worth it. However, every step of the way was a nightmare:
1. Had to purchase Via Money Order, circumventing consumer protections when using credit card. There was no guidance regarding this on their website and was informed via email.
2. Very poor information delivery, called repeatedly and got nothing but excuses, non-comital phrases and over used platitudes.
3. 90+ days between order and delivery
4. Upon delivery the pc wouldn't boot.
5. Called customer service, was told someone would call me back in under 48 hours.
After the extend timeline and poor previous experience with Customer Service I decided to handle the problems my self. I set the PC up and opened it up to evaluate hardware layout and integration methods in my home lab. Upon close inspection I found the following:
1. Leaking coolant through out the lower shelf on the MoBo side of the case.
• RC: Every single coolant hose connection point was loose
• CA:
A. Removal of all hoses from MoBo side of the case
B. Evaluation of all hose seals, thread and connection points
C. Pat dry of interior space of MoBO side of the case
D. Re-Connection of all hose, ensuring proper torque was applied to insure no further leakage
• RESOLVED
2. Horrible cable routing placing undue strain on cross-case harnesses. The deeper I investigated the worse it got
•RC:
A. Inadequate strain-relief on all cable assemblies.
B. No anti-chafe grommets or harness protection mechanisms applied at cross case 'passthrough' points
C. Connectors to MoBo poorly connected, several causing bent pins (MoBo side)
D. Zip-ties, if and when used, were only to 'bundle' excess harness length
E. Both GPUs were very difficult to disconnect due to the horrible routing and the stress on the connectors
•CA:
A. Disconnected all cables from the MoBo
B. Pulled all cables and harnesses through central wall cable passthrough point
C. Measured lengths of cable needed from cable passthrough point to connections on MoBo
D. Using mini Zip-ties, intended for harness building, built up proper power distribution harness with multiple break-outs and appropriate lengths for correct strain-relief
•RESOLVED
All in the above took me approximately 6 hours of my own time. For a machine, that cost as much as a used vehicle, from a company that advertises a rigorous Quality Control Process I was highly disappointed. It’s surprising that, at the purchase price, I'd still have to invest approximately $500 more in my own labor to have the machine fully functional. The average civilian consumer does not have my background or experience. It is infuriating to think that DS is delivering product to its customers, and their consumers have to deal with issues like I had found, especially when we pay for a premium product at a premium price-point.
Needless to say, I am highly disappointed with all aspects of my recent business with DS. I will no longer consider DS when it comes to fulfilling any business needs I may have, both for my personal business or my role in the Defense Contracting industry. I will be sharing this review far and wide for a singular purpose.

Paid 5k for a peice of sh**t that stopped working a year later. Hours spent on trying to fix the problem. Please don't fall for their scam like I did.
This company has no idea what they're…
This company has no idea what they're doing. Not only did it initially come with multiple leaks so I had to send it back right away (and they did not reimburse the full extent of shipping), but then it came back and had a broken water pump. Instantly had to send it back again.
The next problem was the most annoying solely because it highlighted how little expertise this company had in performing the work they're paid for. The 3rd problem here is that it would shut off instantly under any meaningful workload. This should obviously never happen and the PSU was already a little beyond what was necessary. They not only never found this issue on their end (which they would have if they knew what an actual stress test looked like), but their support is absolutely worthless.
They use awful components (not referring to the ones you self-select), their builds put in half-ass work, and their customer support reps try to dodge any accountability no matter how much information you give them.
They have no idea how to debug a problem like this, often scouring lists of programs and pointing out any software they've never seen before in their life or pointing out inconsequential Event Viewer logs and yet again their stress tests are worthless. They use simple benchmarks that do not actually push a system to the fullest extent. For example, when I had a problem they ran 3-4 benchmarks using various benchmark programs that never triggered a system crash even on the highest benchmark tests. After booting up a game, the system shut off less than 5 minutes later.
I knew for a fact that the issue was going to be the PSU and that their internal build team who they consulted for this issue, did not recognize the problem nor did their support offer a replacement or upgrade in place of this.
Just an absolutely awful company really. Stay far away.
