Digital Storm laptops are a Scam
I bought myself a laptop back 2023 from Digital Storm for some serious gaming which costed over $5,000. Having high hopes for a longevity laptop, turn out to lasted only 2 years. Called tech support for assistants, gave me an hard time where they told me to take it to a local tech support in which I did. Geek Squad did a diagnose to the laptop; Ram, CPU, GPU, and hard drive were all fine, except the motherboard. They told me that motherboard itself is $78. I ask if they could somehow replace the motherboard but they couldn’t because the motherboard is a custom made from Digital Storm and solder in place. I reach out to tech support one last time. Tech support told me that for a replacement of the motherboard is between $800-$1200 (are you serious). That’s when I realize that Digital Storm is a place for high end laptops but for scamming their customers. Their warranty suck, their coverage is only labor for 3 years and can do only a 1 year part replacement. So stupid. If part replacement is only for one year, than what’s the point of having a 3 year warranty? The extra two years of labor is for nothing. Their just charging you for extra cash. My advice for anyone that is getting themselves a gaming laptop. Do Not Buy from Digital Storm. Digital Storm are a scam.

This company is a scam. They have 336 of 338 5 star reviews clearly bot generated. I tried to add my own review and it won't let me. Computer does not work. Period. F- customer service scam company
PC works great, no damaged parts. (Digital Storm Review)
PC came in perfect condition, no damaged parts and set up was made easy with the provided instruction booklet in the box. DO NOT throw away box after receiving it! Keep it incase of repairs or travel (like moving). I ordered the Lynx PC from Digital Storm, level 4. Crushes everything I throw at it.
Most complaints you'll see about Digital Storm are either components being damaged during the shipping process, or long wait times. I believe I waited around 3 weeks for my PC to arrive, and the inside was kept in this expanding packaging foam bags so nothing was able to knocked around during shipping.
Only thing I'd recommend is that if you have the option, select the 32gb of RAM instead of the 16gb. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

I ordered a Velox PC from Digital Storm on January 22, 2025, excited to upgrade with one of the new Nvidia cards. Initially, I went with just CPU water cooling, but after a month of silence and delays, I called them—only to be upsold into adding GPU water cooling as well. What they didn’t mention was an extra $300 in surprise shipping fees—a shady move, to say the least.
Fast forward to May 13, 2025—almost four months later—I finally get the machine. I start setup following their own video guides. When I go to fill the reservoir, I notice the rear radiator connection is visibly bent. I try to proceed anyway, thinking maybe it’s fine—only to discover a coolant leak from that exact spot.
Even after switching out the quick-connect for a fill-tube connector, the radiator still leaks—and I can clearly see that the weld connecting the threads is malformed and protruding from the radiator itself. This is a critical failure in quality control, especially for a company specializing in custom high-end water-cooled systems.
Digital Storm’s lack of communication, delayed timelines, poor quality testing, and hidden shipping charges all added up to a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience.
This should have been a dream build. Instead, it turned into a months-long headache with a leaking PC on day one. Not acceptable for a premium system at this price point. Avoid.
UPDATE: Adam with their support team has reached out and is sending another Radiator.

I had ordered a Pc and it was delayed 3 months, however I LOVE my computer and never had a problem with it, love how it looks and runs pretty smooth.
Great experience from the ordering
Great experience from the ordering, to the shipping, to a solid build! Wiring was top notch. My new PC is amazing. The packaging was great and it came with no damage. I have used it for a day now and it runs really well. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Communication was excellent I received many notifications throughout the process. Great experience, very helpful team!
Couldn't be more satisfied
I have purchased 2 custom spec'd Computers from them in the last two years and they operate flawlessly.
preparing to order another one right know.
I reached out to them asking for advice…
I reached out to them asking for advice on a computer workstation build. They market themselves as someone you can contact for advice and they'll work with you. This was not the case for me.
I reached out as a general inquiry for seeking advice. I was met with a reply asking where my order number was. When I responded that I didn't order yet and I want some honest advice on how to proceed or talk with someone about my build. I was met with "sorry, if you don't buy from us we won't help you".
Yikes, not how I want to work with a company with an over 12k workstation build. Well, my build is 12-15k but if I chose digital storm, they upcharge about 5-8k on top of that. So screw that.

Lasted two months for a 5000$ PC
Lasted two months before literally exploding, technical support has provided no help beyond taking back parts that I had to pay shipping for, refused to send back my parts, and request I spend another 500$ dollars just to send the entire PC back. Do not purchase an Aventum X, it's a complete scam.
I bought a PC from digital storm a…
I bought a PC from digital storm a couple years ago and it’s been nothing but a problem since it has arrived at my house and it wasn’t just any PC it’s their flagship the Aventum X. It started out with a 12900k in it and it quit working so they put a 13900k in it and it quit working so then they recently put a 14900k in it which I had to pay the difference every time for the new CPU’s. I also had to have the GPU replaced a 4090, and the power supply. I obviously requested a refund but they said since the computer is 2 years old they can’t do anything even though it’s still under warranty. They then decided they would cover shipping to have the whole PC sent back to them for repairs and I was promised a new CPU and new motherboard but after arriving they said they wasn’t going to replace the motherboard because they couldn’t find anything wrong with it but they did replace the CPU because they said it wasn’t working….shocker….. they then tested it and stuff and said it’s running fine now and had it shipped back to me, well it arrived back to me Dec.23 2024 and after only having it a few hours it caught on fire, now I’m waiting to hear back from management
I got absolutely robbed by this…
I got absolutely robbed by this company. Do not buy from them, if you don’t believe me, and know nothing about computers, at least look at the other sites and compare first, EVERY other site is significantly cheaper. This company charged me 2300 dollars for a gtx 4070 super and a i7-3700F, DDR4, and a whole bunch of things that 1000 dollar pcs have on other sites, for 2k on every other site I could have got a gtx 4080 super, and more better specs, I understand overspending a bit for it being built, but I overspent exactly 1100 dollars. They say “it’s cuz the year warranty” does a year warranty justify spending 1100 extra? The worst part, the pc just was ordered, I learned about how bad I got robbed by ppl online, every one said the same thing. You got absolutely robbed, how can a company do this to customers? To get a refund, they said they would charge 450 more dollars just for a full refund even though the pc has not even been started and was on the very first part still because I just ordered it. Never again. Trust me, I did not know much about pcs so I made this mistake, but never again. They are robbing unexpected customers. Just go to ibuypower or literally any other site. They will prebuilt it for much cheaper.

I usually just buy parts and assemble my own PC but decided to go with a pre built. Worst decision I have made. Had to send system back after 1 week due to power supply issues. Then once I got back the PC freezes up all the time at random times. I dont even want to take the time or effort to send it back in again...terrible.
DO NOT buy anything from this company!!
I've had nothing but issues over the last year with this company. Spent 7K on a Desktop, they sent it to me with a remote that was dead on arrival, a chassis fan that started rattling after 30-days, a motherboard that fried the CPU (they later finally upgraded the cpu after I sent the whole system back), then returned to me the system to me with BURNT-OUT LED RAM. Now, on top of all of this, the MB won't register the RAM and they recommend I take it to a local shop. DEFINITELY a waste of money!! BUYER BEWARE!!
Great service!
Order one. You won't be disappointed.Quality and customer support. This purchase will be my 3rd DS computer. My last one I've had for over 10 years and it was still playing everything that I downloaded. I had an issue in the first year and had to send it back to DS. The mother board was fried and the company discontinued the mother board that I purchased, so DS said that they would upgrade it to a military grade motherboard at no cost. That computer was a beast. So, I will always buy Digital Storm.
They hinestly suck.

Heed My Warning
Well, I was looking forward to finally getting a Digital Storm PC for my company. I have already written so many emails explaining the issue I had with what they delivered. I originally spent $8,400 for an awesome water-cooled PC. 6 days later then informed that they could not perform water-cooled on the new graphics cards due to the size. Ok, I can understand that, so why give the option on your website? After a few phone calls they gave me a standard cooling system and it had a total cost of $7,100.
When finally receiving the PC there were missing parts, non-working RGB systems, and plug that came loose due to shipping they said.
Originally when I first called they put me in touch with a service tech that wanted me to start taking parts off and unplugging computer components. Which I didn't feel comfortable taking parts off my brand-new $7,100 workstation. Again, I know nothing about building PC's.
After calling and emailing several times, I was finally put in contact with Mr. John Sweger who apparently was a Sr. Customer Service Manager. They let me buy parts that did not work with the other parts I ordered. It just so happens that I know nothing about building PCs hence reaching out to the so-called professionals. He even explained to me that the tech who built my computer was confused but instead of reaching out to me to explain they went ahead and built it anyway. After some back and forth, it turns out the Cool Master fans will not work with the Corsair Commander and I would not be able to manage the RGB in the ICUE software. I asked why you sold me a part that had no use and told me on the website that I would be able to control the RGB through ICUE. After all the troubleshooting I finally was like fine, I will send it back so that they can put the correct components so it will work the way it was supposed too. Told him I would even pay for the parts but was not going to pay again for them to build it correctly. So in his email response, he states that Digital Storm accepts no responsibility and that it is my fault.
At that point I decide I just wanted a refund. I originally spent $8,400!!! The price dropped to $7,100 after everything, but honestly this is a huge purchase and they were not willing to fix their mistake. After I responded with an email saying I will just return and get a refund, his response blew me away. They were going to keep $1,600 of my money for re-stocking fees!!
Guys take it from me, stay away from DS. After all this, I did my research into DS and they have a BBB rating of "F". The lowest rating you can get. Other customers, they screwed just like me. Stay away.
Terrible company completely scammed me…
Terrible company completely scammed me of my money and put the CHEAPEST, WORST, parts you can EVER use on a $3,000 gaming pc. So disappointed, not even sure how this company is still running. AVOID at all caust unless you want to pay the highest amount of money for the cheapest pc possible. Not to mention they're customer support is TERRIBLE!!!!
Expensive, Received damaged! Not a great experience!!!
Husband ordered a Pc from Digital Storm and honestly and had high hopes and was excited, the wait was hard, but he waited patiently for 7 weeks since he ordered January 2th and did get it shipped til a week before February 20th.. 7 weeks and it was nice looking box but inside one of the panels was shattered. We contacted customer service whom had the proper department get back to us and too our shock they had us take it out of the box still. It took us maybe 1.5hrs to gently clean the amount of glass shards and splinters out of the tower and when finally got it to that point after maybe 30 pictures they said fire it up to see if it worked.. Shocked again we did as directed! It worked fine and has over the last week.. Shocked!!!! At this point they decided to send us a replacement glass for the one panel...
No options given to return the damage Pc, they didn't ask! Though they were pleasant to discuss with and speedy in conversing with us that evening, we are still in shock that an item purchase from them costing us just shy of $3900 and all they intend to do is send us a replacement glass. To that is pretty poor customer support! So, we pay $3900 for basically damaged goods, no compensation for this, nor compassion for the anguish we went through or how much excess cleaning we had to do not only to the Pc that still sounds like it has shards in it, but to our entire dining room floor while blocking our fur babies out so they didn't get glass in their paws.
This is a lesson learned and omen to listen to your gut, we shouldnt of ordered from them, but we did! My husband is happy with his new PC , but not with how it arrived or the experience we went through and the cost of it.. Me I will never consider a PC from them ever again in my life and glad its completely in his name, he can deal with what is supposably their great answers. Also any and all tracking is very laxed and never updated.. its all poor
