4 grand for some pos that blue screens…
4 grand for some pos that blue screens 20 times a day & loses all my work. They won't help me fix & it's been going on since I got it. Never doing any business with these idi0ts / clowns again...
NEVER AGAIN, unless you have a month to wait!!
I ordered a gaming PC for my son 12/7/23 and it is now 1/15/24 and I still have NOTHING. All I get is excuses and they say they were "backlogged from the holidays" as if they have never experienced Christmas shopping before. 10-15 business days is still being advertised on their website yet I am on business day 27!!! Last week they were trying to tell me it would be 10 more business days and after countless emails they said they would give me "VIP service" and push it through quicker with express shipping but I still have nothing even though it supposedly shipped 1/10. They told me they'll give me 3 months of extra warranty [which is NOTHING] after it now being 11 days business days late
Hear me out
This company makes computers that are just about as useful as a how to smell good manual written by a dumpster and as reliable as Stephen hawking at a 100 meter dash.
I bought their aventum x for my son because he’s a famous YouTuber and I thought it would be the perfect gift for him, but I might as well have given my money to the hobo that lives under my stairway. Even a crackhead blowing it all on cocaine would have made some positive impact on the world rather than lining the pockets of the incompetent idiotic scammers running this pc company.
Their machines are priced nearly double the value of their components, and as for the Aventum, it is a 200 pound colossal pile of crap that is as practical as the cybertruck and just about as esthetically pleasing. That one in particular is a 150% markup price for the actual hardware in the thing. So if you’re interested in bankrupting yourself for computing power that barely contends with a stock prebuilt Walmart machine for half price, and look dumber than a tiktoker raised by a colony of mentally handicapped gorillas while your at it, then spread your wallet wide open for digital storm because these thieves will gladly oblige.
I bought the lowest price tag for the aventum and when it arrived the hillbilly truck driver delivering it- (bless his heart) almost broke his damn back getting it out of the semi truck. I was across country at the time in LA because I’m a big time Hollywood director, (my son learned from the best) so my poor boy had to get this thing up the stairs himself. Then two months later the thing broke down, so we contact the professional support team of a grand total of one technician going by the name Philip Pennington, to find out the issue. Nothing worked of course. Your time would be better off sniffing glue than trying to fix any pc these people slapped together. So we send it back and have to wait 3 months before getting the the rig back. Just over a broken power supply. So everything’s good for another 3 months, then it breaks again. Wonderful cooling system busted a leak bigger than the end of no nut November all over the components and killed the machine again. But you’re heck outa luck after the first time their dog crap breaks it’s on you apparently to pay them the $800 DOLLAR shipping fee to ship it back again, so it can be “conveniently” “fixed” by a team of clumsy buffoons who can’t even figure out how to properly glue on an LED gamer light strip let alone do their one job. Oh and yeah of course, no refunds.
Well you know what I’d rather get a tattoo saying “kick me” in bold letters written on my left nut than keep dealing with these conmen. Every real technician I’ve gotten to look at this thing throws their hands up and gives up on life the moment they try working on the piece of junk. This thing has been sitting taking up space as a useless hunk of scrap metal longer than it was even functional. Penis enlargement pills have a better success rate than these people have in building computers. So if by chance you’re buying from them to compensate for something then you’re better off just taking the pills.
Don’t get me wrong, the one support dude was a real nice guy, although he could easily be mistaken for a chatgpt generated bot by the way he speaks, none of this was his fault. I was extremely stupid too get scammed by these crooks, but thankfully the prince of Nigeria just reached out to me with a once in a lifetime opportunity so hopefully I can recoup what I’ve lost. DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE.
Just in case digital storm sees this, please release Philip Pennington from your basement he deserves better than this. And yes the female connector is still leaking.

Shipped me a defective dead on arrival PC. will not respond to any form of communication, and since I lost my patience and used profanity in an email...they told me I'm banned from the technical support and warranty coverage I paid over $4000 to have.
Anyone interested in a class action law suit? Dated today, but has been going on since ordered in 2021.

There 7 stage system takes FOREVER to build and ship a PC out to you that's not even customized.
If you are OK months for delivery of a PC from Digital Storm, go for it. You've been warned.

They shipped me a defective pc over a month later than promised only for it to stop working after 2 months then when promising to have the machine back in a week they now for weeks held my machine hostage with no timeline on repairs . DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Worst PC and worst company
I got my pc in 2018 and it worked fine for a while then I kept getting game crashes after game crashes and blue screens. So I decided to contact support and I was given a support technician. This guy was the most impatient dude especially since I didn’t know what I was doing because it was my first PC. I ultimately decided to just upgrade a few parts and it was working perfectly fine with the occasional game crash at most 3 times a week. Now it’s back to it’s crashing as soon as you try and play a game. I’m convinced this company uses defective parts and their “testing” on pcs before delivery is a complete joke. I hope the absolute worse for this company. You guys are honestly garbage.
Digital Storm Tech Support Failure
Bought a PC from Digital Storm and went all out. When it arrived, the PC worked very well and performed as expected. After 5 months, the liquid cooling pump failed and I had to file a claim with their service department. I let them know that I was on a night's schedule so I would only be available for phone calls during certain hours but otherwise could communicate via email. They called me twice at noon (when I was asleep, specifically outside the times I informed them of) and then proceeded to stop any contact. I called them to try to get help and they said only the tech assigned to my claim could work on it. I emailed the management team whose email was on the ticket I submitted and got zero response. Id love to get the computer running again and am debating going ahead and fixing it myself despite voiding the warranty.
My so-so experience with the mid-tower build
I got a Mid-tower Pre-built PC from here 2-3 years ago.
The PC worked fine for a while until I figured out I couldn't upgrade to Windows 11.
Also, One day the PC started crashing consistently every day for months and I was scared to launch games that challenged the PC even slightly cause once the game crashed then it would always turn into a blue screen for the entire PC.
Im pretty sure I averaged 2 to 8 blue screens a day!
I had to take the sticks of ram in and out just for it to stop crashing and the PC ran normally after that.
Otherwise, It works well now and the huge case was a good idea for future-proofing your build.
Im still iffy about not being able to upgrade to windows 11 for some weird reason but the general experience with all the problems taken care of have been okay
Update: I eventually got the PC to upgrade to windows 11 but it crashes even more and its completely unstable pc.
If this were Dark Souls, I'd leave this message on the ground "Caution, Turn Back."
I purchased a $5,000 desktop back in December of 2020, which took several months to arrive, and when I attempted to cancel it, they offered me a warranty extension, which I regretfully accepted on that fateful day. Immediately when I received that computer several months later, I had issues right out of the gate. When I was gaming with friends, the whole computer would just shut down, at random intervals, often leaving my friends and fellow gamers in a lurch, due to my sudden absence. I became known as the "Digital Storm Guy" who would just blink out of existence from a raid in the flash of an eye, or a Dota 2 Match, people joked it was my "ultimate" ability to disappear from the match entirely.
I immediately called, and attempted to return the computer, and this is where I went wrong. Digital Storm promised to fix the issue, they told me it was a setting, likely a driver, and it could be fixed remotely, they assured me not to worry, customer care was important to them, and they would fix the issue. I spent an absurd amount of time over the weekends during my days off allowing their technicians to remote into my computer, and tinker. Sometimes the power issue would reside for a week or so, but it would always come back. I sent Digital Storm videos of this anomaly, which showed me clearly playing games, no shenanigans going on, my computer just randomly turning off. They agreed to take it back, and test it, they had it for less than a week, and they reported it had a bad power supply, and it was replaced and working perfectly. Eureka! Or so I thought, the problem occurred almost immediately once again when it arrived at my doorstep.
Digital Storm just pre-emptively closes any ticket, so I constantly have to open new tickets on pre-existing problems, which I did in this case. I had technicians remoting into my computer on my days off, tinkering with my PC, utilizing Furmark, 3DMark, Heaven, MSI Afterburn, CCleaner, they had me disconnect the exotic wiring, and connect directly with the OEM wiring, I switched my GPU to a different slot, performed lengthy memory tests, reinstalled windows multiple times, only to have the technician go "Well I can't figure it out." Two weeks later, here's a new technician reaching out to me, and wanting to do the exact same tests, with different programs. When I would beg them to take this infernal machine back, they'd just reassure me it would be resolved, and told me they had to go through this process first. I had mistakenly believed that since I reported this issue immediately when I received my computer, and based off the assurances of the original technician, who I would later discover no longer worked there, that this issue would be resolved, even if it lapsed outside of the warranty.
That is not the case. My job unfortunately requires me to respond to emergencies, be they natural disasters like wild fires (Santo Rosa, CA), tornadoes (Joplin, MO), earthquakes (Puerto Rico) or COVID at the time, when called upon, I have to respond. I got wrapped up in a project, and when I returned to pick this back up, Digital Storm informed me that because I hadn't reached back out to them, they considered the original issue was resolved, and this was a "new" issue, outside of the warranty, despite it being the same thing, and providing them with videographic evidence of it clearly being the same thing, and even after I notified them that I would be gone for a while. They take this stance that it's the same thing, but it was fixed, and it's happening again, so they don't have to fix it on their dime, it's a "new" problem now.
Two and a half years later, I'm still dealing with this today. I'm going to have to pay Digital Storm out of my pocket to fix a problem that's been present the day I received this computer. Everything they told me, all of their assurances, was completely false, and they'll cycle you through technicians with the understanding that the inevitable march of time is going to take you outside of that warranty period, at which point, they've got you. Watch for them to post falsehoods in their notes that they'll try to use against you at a later date. For instance, they call hours before the agreed upon time, and write that you weren't there, as if it's your fault, when they called hours earlier, despite them referencing the correct time zone. Most people are not confrontational, and Digital Storm banks on that, do not let them fabricate the reality of what's actually occurring, and you need to call them out on it via email, so you have a record.
I'd advise you to steer clear. Prominent Youtubers talk up Digital Storm, they have great marketing, but you're lying to yourself if you think you'll get the same treatment as jayztwocents or Nadeshot. That's my two cents. If you go with Digital Storm, I hope you have better luck than I did.
Believe me
Believe me, It's horrible their customer support is awful it takes eternity to make a purchase , If you are not in US or Canada consider other options , I mean their support is sleeping when it's daytime in most Asian countries, I ordered a laptop and received a mail to tell me that they will confirm the import duties and taxes , as of this day ,I haven't received another mail or even a receipt , I had written 3 mail and even tried calling them at 2 a.m., I think the company has either gone bankrupt
Too long
ordered a build and then discovered i needed a new computer soonest and couldnt wait the 3 to 4 week build time on a standard item they advertised with one added hard drive. cancelled 1 day later while it was still in phase one (on backorder without items being pulled) and got a refund with 140 dollar restocking fee
Meh.
SSD was faulty from the beginning resulting in it completely failing after barely clinging onto life for a while. I had already heard the customer service horror stories by that point so I just opted to buy a new (better) SSD. The fans rattle a bit and I could attempt at finding the problem but it really shouldn't be like this in the first place. It was alright for a first-time buyer, but since then any and all upgrades and repair are going to be done by myself, a lesson I'm glad to have learned not the hardest possible way, but it was still pretty bad.
Its a shame that i have to even …
Its a shame that i have to even select 1 star as a rating. This is the WORST company i have ever had to deal with. I ordered a very high end PC for 3d imaging, and required a 24GB GPU. I selected the Nvida 3090 Founders Edition. The entire build was in excess of $4,000
The wheels came off and It started with idiotic shipping arrangements and both Digital Sperm and their finance partner "Bread" blaming each other because the shipment was screwed up... Screwed up and MONTHS LATE (It was digital sperms fault) and Idiot number 1 "Sensitive" Ronald Sustar telling me it was going to cost an additional $750 to reship the PC, because they didn't want me going to FED EX and showing my ID to pick it up. Yes, its all really this stupid.
When i finally got it, it didnt work. It wouldnt boot or anything. This is where i realized how bad of a mistake i made. I started searching Digital Sperm reviews. OMG, what an awful company. A review i read that really hit home was that Digital Sperm instructed a customer to remove and send back a suspected faulty part...Then told the customer they voided their warranty because they did it wrong.
The $2,000 GPU i special ordered was DEAD... Digital Sperm was insisting i needed to remove it and send it in for Evaluation. This set off a red flag considering what i read from the other user...so i asked them to release me from liability to remove the board. They refused, and stopped responding to messages and emails. They closed the ticket and ignored me for MONTHS.
Finally after speaking with a lawyer, and posting bad reviews the replied and insisted i needed to accept a different GPU that Sensitive Ronnie claimed was better. Its Not It a 16gb GPU and they lied. Clown #2 got involved briefly, john swegar, to defend the board sensitive ronnie insisted i accept...and when i told him it wasnt working Clown #2 started ghosting me as well.
I told them i wanted what i paid for, and now they are ignoring me again. I asked they simply refund the purchase price of the board i bought, and that drew a short reply for clown #3 Alex who also claimed it to be better (how is 16gb better then 24gb) and when i refused and asked again for a refund he prorated it and offered around $1,400 for a board i paid over $2,000 for that they have yet to provide. They wont provide.
Clown #2 even admitted they were stalling to run the warranty out so they dont have to do anything.
SAVE YOUR MONEY< DO NOT BUY FROM DIGITAL SPERM.
Avoid unless you enjoy throwing money away.
After waiting almost 2 months for this custom build, the motherboard and cpu fried after less than 3 weeks. Then the customer service/tech assistance hell began. After 2 weeks of back and forth they determined I voided the warranty and they would not fix it unless I paid for the parts and service. I bit the bullet and replaced the motherboard on my own and it works fine now. Lesson learned, if you want something done right, do it yourself. My BEST recommendation is AVOID like hell.
Buyer beware
You can spend 1,000 up to 20,000+ with this crap company and within a few months you will start having problems! I have i910900k 3090 64GB and it runs like garbage! Not smooth at all!! I had an IBUYPOWER for almost 3 years and didn’t have one issue!
I ordered a 10.000 $ PC and cant get a hold of anyone
Its really a very bad experience with Digitalstorm. I orderer a high end Aventum X with a 13900KS, watercooled, all extras and with a 4090 and it was about 10k.
After DAYS my order got cancelled. No email. No call. NOTHING. Before I ordered I was in contact with John Sweger who answered a couple of questions. I email him again asking whats going on and... NOTHING.
So I ordered again. With shipping and everything you can imagine. Order cancelled. Then an email from Lucille Reyes only stating, that they now dont deliver to Europe (Austria), although the shipping and all calculations were calculated within the order. So no shipping worldwide. I emailed again to John and Lucille telling, that if money was the issue for the shipping. I will gladly pay extra and on top of the already calculated shipping costs, even if its 500$ more. And... you can tell? NOTHING. No email, no call - simply nothing from the sales team or anyone. I mean I am willing to buy your most expensive PC and extra and on top shipping and you can not even write me a simple email and a sorry or just anything?
Its just a very frustrating and bad experience and I cant imagine having issues having ordered a PC from them and then waiting for a simple reply or feedback in terms of warranty.
I am very frustrated with just that no one cared about me or my order at all and I am not even good enough to get a reply back or any answer.
Im not sorry to say that the customer experience is terrible and surely the customer is not valued at the company digitalstorm.
I would not try this again or would order here and I also will advice that its probably best not to make business with this company as you will get frustrated.
Add about a month to their estimated ship date!
The 4000.00 dollar build seems ok so far. I was supposed to get a digital code for warhammer but they took so long that by the time I received it the code was expired. When I contacted them for a resolution they sent me an email stating that the situation is resolved and promptly closed my ticket and will no longer respond. I gave 2 stars because the build seems ok but I've only had it for a week. Hopefully I don't have to deal with them for any real issues.
DO NOT BUY.
DO NOT BUY.
Their product looks quality but truly isn’t, after a few months of use the nvme got corrupted because it was faulty to begin with. I filed a warranty and they sent me a new one, WITH THE SAME ISSUE. They didn’t send me a third one until I wrote a complaint online and that one finally worked.
Then the battery begins to have an issue and starts to swell. I inquired and bought the replacement they recommended. Well the replacement battery CAUGHT ON FIRE, so I had to dunk the in water laptop to put it out, destroying the entire thing.
Bottom Line:
Bad product with even worse customer service/ tech support
BEWARE
BEWARE, Just when you thought a company couldn't get any worse than DELL, these guys pulled it off. I tried to go with the little guy and support a local business but this was the worst service I have ever seen. It appeared to be a great company but from the beginning, they did not have parts then they up-charged me for a few things. Then it was over a month late to arrive. After all of this it just continually crashed. They were not able to fix the problem and 5 months later I got a partial refund. If you like wasting time and being jerked around look no further you found your place.
