Drift is helping my Sales team really get a better handle on customer experience and helping us organize our important first Sales conversations with prospects, and routing them much more quickly, which is great fro operationalization as well as branding. We needed this solution for so long, and we finally got it!!!

So much time wasted with Drift.
Drift is great at marketing hype, they tell a super compelling story during the sales process, only to find things are not as they seem. They don't offer a free trial, which is fine. But having signed up... paid... then tried to cancel you can figure out why they operate the way they do.
From the start, misrepresenting the segment.io integration through to being overcharged and having to fight to get a cancellation (I'm not the only one according to the reviews) are good reasons not to use Drift. But there were also plenty of annoying bugs and bad support. So many...
I work with a lot of SaaS marketing tools, this is by far and away the worst I've dealt with.
Drift is really damn impressive at hyping their story, but it's an ordinary product with poor business practices.

it's a bit too soon to give an opinion…
it's a bit too soon to give an opinion as we've only been working with Drift a short time! The service reps have been very helpful. Would like to see weekly meetings/updates with Drift reps. I do find we too many on site visitors with generic yahoo, gmail, etc emails and not business related inquiries. Not much inquires during EST hours at all.

Excellent addition to the sales org
I genuinely like Drift and the functionality it brings to my team. We are fairly new in taking on the project and are just starting to really see positive results. We get a large amount of traffic on our website and the chat feature is a must have to be competitive. We have seen millions in pipeline that we can attribute as coming from Drift. We are going to start utilizing the live view function soon to proactively chat with site visitors and help enhance their experience on our website.

I love Drift! I'm an AE and it makes my life so much easier. Since adding Drift to our technology stack, I now have a steady drip of leads trickling into my pipeline. The ability to A/B test messaging and automate much of the process is a great way to save time and be effective.

Useful tool but limited training and customizations
The Drift tool itself is very useful, but there are some customization limitations. Also, our onboarding experience was poor initially. Once brought to the team's attention, we were assigned a new rep and it has since greatly improved.

Drift has been an incredible experience for our company. Our sales reps have the ability to quickly respond to conversations in real-time! Forget days or weeks of delayed response time. We have also opened a number of opportunities through the bot that might not have happened without Drift.
As a whole we are extremely impressed by both the product and the team that makes up Drift - with their eagerness to help and quick response times to questions.

horrible experience
horrible experience. supports only the basics of whatever we wanted to achieve and then we had to find workarounds for the rest. their documentation images never matched the end result we could achieve, their support never knew how to help or avoided the question giving unhelpful alternatives, and, worst of all, after we have invested so much time into their product, they have now started sunsetting the features we use. absolutely no respect for their customers. avoid!

Product misrepresented and lacks integrity
The product is one step below live chat in terms of value to site visitors. It isn’t even close to a chat bot. Ever created an email nurturing workflow, it’s the same thing. Nothing fancy to it and a waste of time for most use cases. On top of that, deceptive billing practices. They make the transaction more complicated than Microsoft business and we all know that isn’t exactly the epitome of user experience. Finally, good luck canceling. They make it a chore. For me, I chatted with support to cancel and they said they’d have finance follow up. As a busy professional, I trusted that I’d get that follow up and use that as a trigger to compete the process that should have already been complete with my initial notification (it’s not a mortgage!). They never followed up and kept billing me. Then I asked for that they followed up as they claimed, they tried to send me a screenshot of email subject lines that were not about my request to cancel if opened. That was incredibly shady and disturbing on many levels. Avoid this company for both the fact that the product is oversold and they lack integrity.

The app never really works and pricing is tricky
The app never really works. All their client numbers are fake. Many quit after a few months because the app just doesn't work. Integrations fail, they change API documentation without warning, they offer little to no tech support in fixing the mess they make. Also their pricing is tricky and you cannot cancel easily. They keep billing under some imaginary terms. We made legal complaints and chargebacks...
