Jamila was a brilliant instructor. I actually enjoyed my lessons with her. She was clear with instructions, could see my areas for improvement, and had a calming, and encouraging temperament (meaning she seriously corrected, but she never bit my head off when I made mistakes either).

Driving with Csilla Mezei at driveJohnsons was the best decision! I passed on 1st time with only 2 minors. SHE IS THE BEST. Csilla is always patient, open to communication and teaches you how to drive safe,legal and convient. Meeting the DVSA standards happens to be a byproduct because Csilla teaches safe driving. I trusted her 100 %, her guidance,her instructions and it was on point. We built up competences as we go and then kept practicing everything together. So whether test route or not, it does not matter as Csilla teaches you to be able to drive anywhere confidently. The examiner in DVSA was able to spot this. Csilla teaching is on the right track and definite way to success. Csilla teaches exactly and more of what the DVSA expects from you. Being confident on the road beats test day nerves. I would highly recommend Csilla Mezei and DriveJohnsons to all my friends and family.

Enquired on Wednesday evening via the website, I enquired with other companies too. Since Thursday to Friday I’ve received 6+ calls pestering me. I spoke to someone Thursday dinner time and explained what I was looking for, I asked to think about it and come back to them. By 15:41 I’d had another missed call/voicemail. If I was choosing to go with this company, I’d be completely put off now, I will not be using them purely because of the hounding I’ve received.

I drove with Neil around the Snaresbrook / Wanstead area for my test preparations over the last few months and had a great experience. He made sure I was test ready, and we had fine chats throughout the lessons which I'll hold dear.

David is a great instructor and couldn’t recommend him enough he made me feel comfortable and safe at all times. He’s a great laugh and made me smile every week. Also recommend David if you have ADHD as he’s calm and explains things very clearly

Qasimi is an absolutely brilliant driving instructor. I was very nervous when I started my lessons, but his teaching methods made everything so much easier.

He takes you through every step, explains everything clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. His teaching methods are different from other instructors, and his patience and approach really make a difference.

Salim is excellent at quickly identifying area of your driving that needs improvement and helping you focus on developing those skills. I completed over 15 mock-test sessions under real test conditions, which helped me experience different test routes, handle obstacles independently and become comfortable driving under the pressure of an actual test.

This preparation helped me build my confidence, make decisions without guidance and understand what to expect on the test day.

Charlene Morris is a truly exceptional driving instructor and a massive thanks to her, I secured a first time pass.

From my first lesson I felt so comfortable and relaxed in the car with her. She really went above and beyond to build my skills and confidence behind the wheel. Charlene has a very clear, calm way of teaching and will practice things with you over and over again until you feel one hundred percent sure about it. The amount of support that she gave me was honestly incredible - she really instilled confidence in me and the fact that I could see that she believed in me totally eased my nerves up. Now that i’ve passed I’ll honestly miss going on driving lessons!

She’s been brilliant throughout my whole driving journey and I can’t wait to get on the roads and use everything she’s taught me! If I need anything further in the future I’ll be sure to contact her.

Rajesh Thakkar was an incredible driving instructor who helped me pass my test and, i can’t recommend him enough. He was always on time and had great communication with lesson reminders the night before and, helpful tips and videos.

Rajesh went above and beyond in supporting me to become not only test ready but a confident, competent and safe driver. He made the techniques and methods explained during our lessons very clear and, made me understand why we’re doing them.

He genuinely cared about my success and was always kind, supportive and gave me reassurance when i was anxious. His passion for the job and to see his students succeed is clearly apparent.

I am very grateful to Rajesh for his support through the learning journey, essentially starting from scratch to passing my test with only one minor fault!

Just passed my test today on my first attempt after having lessons in Newcastle with Bifsa Alexios. He was a fantastic instructor - very laid back, friendly and reassuring. Also very responsive and reliable for getting lessons booked at the frequency I needed in line with my progression.
Happy to have had him as my instructor and would definitely recommend to anyone getting started.

I passed my driving test today on my first attempt with just 2 minors, and I want to give full credit to my instructor Andy from Drive Johnsons.
I started my lessons with Andy at the end of August and completed around 11 lessons. From the very first lesson, he made me feel comfortable and confident. I have a hearing condition and was quite nervous at the start, but he was incredibly patient, kind and down‑to‑earth. He taught everything step by step, starting from the basics, and his clear teaching style helped me build confidence quickly.
Andy explained complex junctions, roundabouts and all the tricky parts of driving in a way that made everything easy to understand. He is very observant and picked up even the smallest mistakes, which helped me improve and become a safer driver. By the end of my lessons, I felt fully prepared for my test.

I also want to mention how easy and convenient Drive Johnsons’ booking system was. A big plus for me was the availability of weekend driving lessons, even at short notice.this made scheduling my lessons much easier.

On test day, Andy made sure I felt calm and ready, and that support meant a lot. I’m really glad I chose Drive Johnsons, and I’m especially grateful that Andy was my instructor.

I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn safe, confident and proper driving.

Fiza is a great instructor! She was my first and only instructor and I never had any complaints. Lessons were very nicely structured and she helped me pass my driving test on my first attempt!

Tahir is a great instructor, patient and very thorough. Lessons were well structured and fit to my schedule. Very accomodating and convenient. Pass after 1 month of lesson.

I had a great experience with my instructor qasimi and I’m very grateful to have passed first time.

After failing my driving test three times, I began to realise that my previous instructor wasn’t really taking the time to carefully review my test results, identify my weaknesses, and help me correct my mistakes. I felt that we were no longer making progress together, and that perhaps we just weren’t the right match, so I decided it was time for a change.

Then I found Kady, and everything just clicked!

From the very beginning, Kady was able to identify my weaknesses and understand exactly what I needed to work on. She helped me refresh and strengthen my driving knowledge, taught me how to recognise the right opportunities to exit at roundabouts, and helped me overcome my fear of hesitating and losing confidence at them. She also taught me how to assess situations and make timely, confident decisions when meeting oncoming traffic.

After just a few lessons with Kady, I passed my driving test on my very next attempt!

Kady is an incredibly patient, calm, and professional instructor. She never made me feel stressed or discouraged, and her clear guidance and supportive approach made such a huge difference to my confidence and driving ability.

Even now, I’m still on cloud nine and can hardly believe I’ve finally got my driving licence! I’m so grateful to Kady for helping me achieve this milestone. After coming to Lindy from a different instructor and having a few short weeks to prepare for my test, she taught me to be more independent in my driving and have the necessary skills i’ll need for the road!
