Earache Records Avis 

Very poor Customer service, slow dispatch times.
CD had release date of the 8th Nov, Finally dispatched on the 19th after 2 emails and PayPal complaint.
I wont be buying from them again.

Excellent experience with Earache. They were fast and super responsive.

Easy and quick. Bought 2 T-shirts, one had an obvious defect, big thanks to Ben who was a great help, shipping me a new replacement tshirt. Would definitely recommend.

I can't recommend this shop. Service at the bottom rail. Goods still not received after 4 weeks. After about 10-12 email inquiries about when I will receive the order, no one gets in touch. No one seems to be interested in me. It's a metal shop that no one needs because everything concerns customer service Zero is even one star is too much for such

I paid for Royal Mail International Tracked shipping but did not receive a tracking link. Took about a week and a half for the stuff to arrive in the EU, but that might have to do with customs between the UK and EU because UK orders tend to be slow across the board.

However, the merchandise itself was in perfect condition and their prices are very fair in my opinion! Would recommend the store and will order again, just know that it might take longer than some other stores and tracking might not be available.

I ordered some special vinyls on earache.com, which were sold out pretty fast after. Unfortunately the Austrian Post showed massive incompetence in delivering my parcel, so these vinyls were lost. But the Earache Customer Support could help me out, since a very few vinyls were kept for matters like these and so I was VERY lucky enough to get a replacement sent. I have to add, that the customer service did not only solve the matter to the best outcome, but responded quickly and professional and friendly and understanding as well. Overall, a perfect experience I'm rarely used these days.

Bought a couple of Woods of Ypres CDs directly from Earache Records. They agreed to combine shipping costs. Great prices, fast shipping, and outstanding communications! A flawless transaction from a fantastic seller. Highly recommended!!

Came on to try rectify some of these low reviews. I ordered a signed vinyl and cassette tape. Dispatched quickly - unfortunately I receive the vinyl damaged. I emailed their customer support and was replied to very quickly to let me know someone would be in touch with a confirmation of action. This followed the day later. (No problem at all my end) I was given options at this point and agreed for a replacement cover to be posted out once they receive more in stock. This was a day or two later. Email received to confirm dispatch, followed by an email from the person I’d been emailing, to let me know it had been dispatched and if I could, to let them know when I received it. Received it the day after. Great service and customer support.

Really professional company! I ordered a signed CD off these guys a little while ago. I was curious as to where my order was, so I dropped them an email. They replied really quickly and explained there was a back order of the album. They apologised profusely which i don't mind as I work in retail and understand stocking issues. They even managed to change my address on the order which was really helpful! Will definitely be ordering from these again!

Ordered a CD and paid 1st class postage, well over 2 weeks later and still order is not posted and no response to chasing email. Just avoid!

After this review and 20 minutes after I pursued a refund through PayPal I finally get an email saying they were out of stock and there are mitigating circumstances, surely this email should have been sent once I ordered the product.

The refund was processed through PayPal but they only refunded the cost of the CD not the 1st class postage that they charged and never actually used.

This company is an absolute joke, I strongly suggest you never use them for anything. Buyer Beware.

Right, time to tell about my experiences with Earache. A very important label, with a very polarizing founder. There's always been a lot of controversy regarding Earache/online shop and I was a bit concerned about ordering from them, but I went ahead anyways. I placed my order a Sunday and for several days it just stood as "send to ccp", Google says ccp means China communist party, which I had little reason to believe.
I wrote them, early, granted, after 3 days, asking. Got a response from Phil that they were running behind but my order was due to ship the next day. A week passed and I checked again, still chinas communist party (ccp) was to be informed of my purchase. Now, the reason I was a bit impatient, was that both vinyls and shirt was to be used for my wedding coming up, so I needed to be sure it would come on time. After a second email, they again said it was due to ship the next day. Two days went and it got shipped. It just arrived today and everything was in great shape; shirt looks great, good quality and none of the vinyls had any visible damage, packaging was done completely right. We are living in a time where day to day deliveries have become not uncommon, but I think that Earache, despite being a bit unresponsive to my first mail, has gotten a new, regular customer. Man....I don't get the issues folks are having here?? I live in Canada so all mine gotta come a good distance and I have NEVER had and issue. My LPs are always in perfect shape! all due to small little touches like putting a piece of cardboard between each one which really helps make the package very rigid and avoid a bend in transit (awesome stuff guys)!!
also...I really do believe 'we' as a society are becoming so used to the next day amazon way of things...but, this isn't amazon it's a independent company with a group of dedicated folks that has put some of the best music in 'my' life since the 90s and deserve a sense of patience....'IF' you have an issue?? try being a human about it....and I'm sure you'll be satisfied in there customer service.

Always coming up with new and interesting ideas to sell their products (e.g mystery bundles). I always like what they do and keep coming back.
