Zero customer service no replies to email no working phone number waiting for an order to be dispatched with no sign its going to be avoid at all costs.
Overpriced merch, horrible self righteous/argumentative admins/staff, stupidly long waiting periods for merch ordered - just don't bother, they aren't the label they used to be and that's a real shame.
Absolutely abysmal service, five weeks after ordering and still nothing. Only automated replies to emails. Avoid these clowns.
I ordered 2 CD's as Christmas presents. Paid by Paypal, so it was instant. I got an emeil from earache saying they would despatch the items when payment was confirmed. As it was Paypal that should have been instant. Roll forward a week and I have heard nothing. I email, but get a standard response about being busy and will answer soon etc. Another week and still nothing. I call, no answer on mobile or engaged on landline.
Enough is enough. I had to cancel and get CD;s from another source. You have lost a customer for life. You need to get your fingers out.
UPDATE
After cancelling, I then get an email saying the order has just been processed, I replied but the CD's did arrive a couple of days late...annoyingly after I had placed an order elsewhere. So now I have 2 sets of CD's. I have maneged to get a full refund from the second supplier after the order was not fulfilled correctly. A load of hassle that could have been avoided with decent communication.
I did get further communication, 9 days later. It seems that is about the time it takes them to get to emails. They reall;y need to get on top of this.
Ordered items over 2 weeks ago express delivery still ain't had them, i was told a couple of times they will be posted in few days, it's been 8 days since their last response so requested a refund from PayPal. Awful customer service please avoid.
I was a bit skeptical at first, because of the bad reviews, but since they're the only ones reliably having some certain classic shirts in stock, I said, what the heck, I'll just try them out for once. Might as well work out fine. And indeed it did so splendidly. Had to dig their mails out of the spam folder, but other than that I was happy to receive my shirts a mere 8 days later (from the UK to Germany). Contrary to my expectation they are Gildan heavy cotton, not the dreaded soft-style, and the whole experience was rather pleasant.
My recent experience with Earache was a good one. I am overall satisfied with my experience with their Merchstore. Phil had great customer service, and went above and beyond. Very much appreciate it.
Used to love Earache and many of the bands signed to them, so re-buying the old albums and shirts that I used to have was very disappointing. Some examples of their modern CD digipak re-releases have very low quality artwork - I bought one with horrid horizontal banding all over, the kind of thing you'd see from an inkjet printer years ago, and the shirts are very thin Gildan things (though this seems to be an issue with many modern t-shirts), last two longsleeves were unthreading at the cuffs and needed repairing.
No responses to any emails I sent, as usual.
If you do intend to buy from them, use their eBay storefront as at least there they kind of have to do something if you have a complaint.

This is based on two separate orders I made within a couple of days of each other.
Ordered two cds and were both dispatched on the same day and were both delivered the next day.
Well packed and super cheap postage for first class.
Can’t fault the service so will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Appalling service. My two orders are now over three weeks old with no replies to my emails. And one of the items I’ve ordered has now vanished from the online store.
Thank god I ordered with PayPay. I’ll be getting my money back. Please don’t shop with these guys. Absolutely shocking.

Same as everybody else writes. DON'T bother with contacting them, NO response. So disappointing experience, that also will now cost me 90 euro in toll fines because there is absolutely no customer service. Avoid !

made an order over a month ago , just got a receipt , my order was never shipped and it is impossible to contact them they ignore emails . Pretty much robbery .
I placed an order on November 20, 2020. I received a tracking number the same day. The number that was provided is not a valid tracking number. I have sent numerous emails to phil@e**ache.com as well as customerservices@e**ache.com.
Emails were sent on 12/11, 12/14, 12/17, and 12/22. This was supposed to be part of a Christmas present. I understand that this time of year is busy, but it is busy for any retailers- brick & mortar and e-commerce. The zero response besides the auto-response is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I don't recommend this company to anyone. I don't care if my order was $5 or $5000. Business is business and this is not how you conduct business. Do not order from this company unless you enjoy just giving your money away for nothing, but useless auto emails. Now if you do like just giving your money away, then order away.
This record label is taking down music from bands that are no longer part of their group just to make it hard for fans to listen to those albums. This company will not help you in any way. They will only bring you down.
Listen to the other review, I had a terrible experience with this company too! They take ages to dispatch, ignore messages and then once they realise you want a refund panic and dispatch the item because they don’t want to lose their money even though you no longer want it! Do yourself a favour, don’t go through all the hassle and just buy from somewhere else. NO communication, NO customer service, and if I want to return the item I cancelled and they sent anyway I will have to use my own money to send it back and will then be out of pocket because of the incompetency of this company! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.
