I was desperate for a new mattress and as being disabled and couldn't visit the store ..Joe spoke to me about their great stock as I did ask for a pocket sprung Joe changed my mind and insisted I go for a sleepsoul mattress. I'm glad I did take Joe's guidance great bed driver was a great help sorted everything for me I would buy again from Elephant beds Cardiff and I will recommend them to friends.

Elephant Beds Cardiff — AVOID — £719 Bed Collapsed in 29 Days, Then They Accused Us of Breaking It

Before I'd even finished explaining that our brand new £719 Super King bed had structurally failed, I was told outright by Elephant Beds Cardiff: they don't do refunds. No investigation, no apology, just a flat no.

The centre support bar — the one I specifically questioned the salesman, Joe, about before buying, and was directly assured would be fine — bent and collapsed under two adults sleeping normally. 29 days after delivery. Two people left with back pain from a bed sinking in the middle like a hammock.

When I raised it, I was emailing directly with Jason at Elephant Beds, who accused me of breaking the bed myself. Then, less than 24 hours later, once I pushed back with evidence, his story changed completely — now I'd apparently been standing or kneeling on the support bar to reach the storage space underneath. Two contradictory accusations, no evidence for either, from the same person, days apart.

Here's the kicker: Jason offered to send one of their own staff out to "investigate" the very fault he was accusing me of causing — judge, jury, and defendant all in one visit. When I asked instead for a genuinely independent third party inspection, so neither side could be accused of bias, they refused. Make of that what you will. They also fitted the wrong feet on delivery and took the assembly manual away with them, so I had no documentation for my own bed.

What followed was months of fighting — bank disputes, a rejected chargeback, and now a formal legal claim — against a company that decided to call us liars rather than stand behind a bed that failed exactly as I'd feared it would before I even bought it. There were points along the way we nearly gave up simply from the sheer exhaustion of it. We didn't, and we're glad we didn't, but no customer should have to fight this hard just to be treated honestly over a faulty product.

Joe sold us the bed on assurances that turned out to be false. Jason then spent weeks accusing us of causing the fault ourselves, with a story that changed under pressure. Avoid both, and avoid this company.

Fantastic service from Elephant Beds Cardiff.
We bought a bed from this company a few years ago.
As we had a problem with one of the drawers( probably due to overloading) we took it to Elephant beds to see if they could help.
Without question they offered to repair it + we picked it up a week later.
We would recommend this company to anyone looking for good helpful service without any pressure.

Visited the Cardiff branch and bought a bed after trying out the display models and speaking to Joe in store. He was very helpful and explained how the ottoman bed design works. Delivery was very prompt with the movers arriving at the very start of our delivery window. They were very kind, courteous and careful removing the old bed and installing the new one. Couldn't be happier.

I went to store to look for a bed and mattress had amazing support from a guy named Robert took his time and gave me amazing advice 10/10

My 90 year old mother went into an Elephant store in Cardiff yesterday and paid in full for a bed and mattress (£1,000), today, less than 24 hours later she wanted to cancel the order, as she felt she had been misled and coerced into this transaction by Joe the salesman, she is now, in her words "a nervous wreck" after calling them on the phone they simply said there is nothing they are willing to do, refunds or any comeback is not their policy, my advice to people is dont deal with this company and in particular Joe at the Cardiff branch, there are much better alternative companies our there.

Ordered a bed from the Swansea shop and was helped by Rob. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the different beds. The order arrived very quickly and we have slept well since!

Ideal place to buy a mattress! Great range of beds and mattresses and staff were super helpful!

Bought a lovely bed today from Ian at Elephant Beds in Swansea. I can't praise him more for his patience and understanding. The Bed on show was a lovely Superking Ottoman Bed in a choice of many colours, the mattress was from Millbrook.
The mattress is undeniably the most comfiest I have ever led on.
Delivery is in about 3 weeks time.
They are putting it all together for me in the room of my choice (My bedroom)

Parents are having a terrible experience. Ordered 2 beds to be delivered together. Contacted and told that they’ve had a big delivery of grey not pine and would they like that instead. When they stated they wanted pine to match the rest of the furniture they were told it would be delayed because the pine ones were buried behind all the grey ones. The remaining bed delivery was planned for 11:30-14.30 slot and no sign of it by 3:30 and no updates. Called them to find out and were informed that the van had broken down and they were going to get ad-blu and would update later despite not having updated before. Clearly not caring for their vehicles if they’ve allowed the ad-blu to run dry. So now two customers in their 70s are facing the prospect of sleeping top and tail on a sofa until they can get their act together.

Teresa the sales rep was so knowledgeable in explaining to us the different fillings in the mattress and what we needed. She had us lying on the beds to check the firmness we wanted and was so full of information. There was no sales pressure whatsoever which is a relief these days. I am looking forward to receiving my new bed. We also have an elephant bed in our second home which is so comfortable. It is difficult to get out of bed!
