Customer service is fine but the product a bought wasn't durable at all it broke 3 times in 2 years. But each switch of the slowly giving up. I could get replacement part but had to get an electrician everytime….

PRODUCT & PROBLEMS
The product:
Soho Lighting's paintable switches and sockets I am really pleased with.
The customer facing personnel were very helpful.
These are the positive elements that prevent this review being so negative.
1. The wait time applied for free delivery although I had spent hundreds of pounds on two previous purchase and this third purchased pushed the spend to over £1K.
2. The lack of information to say when the delivery would eventually take place.
The final positive was the action taken to make the delivery a Saturday delivery priority due to problems the delivery agent experienced - no details of this but pleased to receive the items.

Great service, lovely items!
The staff ant Elesi were very attentive and helpful after a mix up with the delivery address and delivery company errors. Adina worked tirelessly to track the parcel and get my order delivered. It was a large order of Vintage brass switches and sockets, all very beautiful and well made. I am very happy with the items and the service!

Excellent company
Disappointing experience considering the premium price. Chose 26 replacement sockets and switches in brushed chrome finish. Order was not dispatched next day as per indicated. A phone call chase rectified this and was then dispatched with an apology. Part missing from one switch so another phone call. Assured one to be ordered and sent 1st class. Week later had not arrived. Another phone call which confirmed no notes for this and was not sent. Was sent out with an apology which was received a day later. Installer fitted all remaining 26 units. Many have micro scratches on them which is noticeable under electric light in the evening so not met expectations of quality. I can’t really be bothered to go through returns/exchange process and will live with. Overall somewhat disappointed.
Update: 30/10/25. Credit where credit is due. I have updated review to 5*. The reason is that I received an immediate response and keenness to put right. There were no excuses just a commitment to change the negative experience and ensure quality of finish fully addressed. As a result I received above and beyond communication and a full replacement of all affected units. I had continuous contact from very friendly and professional customer service team especially from Adina and Tamy. Very impressive commitment to customer service and aftercare. I would say buy with extreme confidence from Elesi/Soho. Wish all companies were as attentive and customer focused. Many thanks!
