i had so useful and fantanstic experience

Have been waiting months now to get booked into week 8. Worked hard to complete the relevant material and it takes so long to get booked in. So frustrating as the whole point of this course is to get completed at your own pace. Especially when I'm currently working in the industry and my progression is dependant on this course.
Material itself is ok and the tutors in centre are good - the course is mainly let down by admin and waiting times.
In addition, I emailed my frustrations to customer support who got back to me telling me to call them instead which is hard for me because the customer support phone line is open on weekdays when I'm working. Very frustrating as I just want to get done and am being held up by the waiting times to get to centre.

Had a wonderful and educative weekends.

The onsite training is fine but the online stuff is abysmal tgr tma tests take a week to mark which spins out the on line bit and it took 6 months to get a date for the physical training

Many of the positive reviews are botted, you can tell, or they'll be the same person reviewing them positively more than once. Really suspect. I spoke to a tutor today; even he admitted the course is a scam (straight from the horse's mouth). They also deny you extra help and time when you have previous school records of being given extra time, which they will somehow deny even though you don't need to prove that. They also give you literally no help or any feedback on what you did wrong on the exam and basically just tell you to leave if you pass or fail (they don't care, they already have your money). This training provider has already been exposed in articles, which they will be aware of, and I would be very careful about who they decide to cross again. I'm surprised how they even still have a license to actually hand out qualifications; it's so bad. So I would like some actual help or I'm going to my cousin who works as journalist about this and they can have another hit piece written about them. I don't try and threaten by saying "we'll kick you of the course" because thats how low these people are, don't try and false flag my review either. They opporate as loan sharks to essentially steal your money and provide absolutely nothing in return they will 110% get sued in the future and I won't be suprised they have hit pieces on them in the daily mirror already so this won't last to long.

Satisfactory in all angles

Completion level 2 diploma with higher confidence installation, maintenance, commissioning with a good skill in soldering and bending of copper and low carbon steal to various angle.

I had a great experience completing my practical training with ERR. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly, which made learning much easier. The hands-on training was well organised and gave me valuable practical skills and confidence.

Overall, I would highly recommend ERR to anyone looking to develop their practical electrical skills in a supportive and professional learning environment.

I have given ERR one star because my experience has been extremely disappointing.
I submitted a formal complaint but never received a written response. Although I received a phone call from Customer Service, the matter was not handled professionally. During the call, I specifically requested that my complaint be responded to in writing. More than three weeks have now passed without any response, despite the automatic acknowledgement email stating that complaints will receive a reply within 7–10 days.
The biggest issue has been the delay in booking my practical Weeks 8 and 9. When I enrolled, I was assured during the sales process that once I had completed the online learning and was ready, practical sessions would be arranged within a few days or weeks—not months. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
These delays have affected my ability to complete my City & Guilds 2391-52 qualification on time, which is important for securing employment as an electrician. The lack of communication and failure to provide clear timescales have caused unnecessary stress and financial pressure.
In my experience, the level of professionalism from Customer Service has been well below what I expected. Overall, the reality has not matched the promises made when I enrolled.
I am now seriously considering whether to continue with the course. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ERR to friends or family at this stage. My advice to anyone considering enrolling is to carry out thorough due diligence, ask detailed questions about practical training timescales, how to achieve 2357 competence portfolio and obtain commitments in writing before signing up.

The tutor staff are wonderful because they understood the assignment.

Customer service not good. No parking in Wolverhampton training centre.

My experience so far has been great. From the Helpdesk to the classroom teachers, they've be so great and helpful ever since started my training with them. I look forward to having more positive experiences till the end of my course.

One of best and lucky decisions I have made was having to study Electrical studies with ERR, my lecturers has been amazingly great, good in communicating and impacting knowledge.
With a good facilities and an amazing staff, that Institution is a great place to study

I went for my 1st week of training on the 22nd of June 2026 at Chandlers Ford and it was really good. The tutor Steve was brilliant very knowledgeable guy and a great person to chat to even away from course work (in breaks). Don't be put of by reviews of this company as I panicked once I had signed up due to people's reviews but if your prepared to put in the work you will do well. I'm not the best person for reading and studying but I know it's what I want to do I passed 3 tests at college with distinctions. Best advise I can give is study hard for results iam back at the training center to do my next week of training 27th July 2026. Once you complete a tma at home just keep studying and get them done don't stop and wait I'm already at module 32 (submitted 29) in a year and a half of being on the course but remember it takes 5 days for a tma to be marked and sent back so I do mine and write them down ready to submit so I'm always ahead. Only down fall is not enough training centers closer to me.

What I like the most is the knowledge of the tutor and how they explain everything so you can understand with very little difficulties
