I have looked into this And as explained by email, I placed a dummy order for you, to get you the raw milk that you had ordered via Dawlicious.
I did this at last minute (5.30am saturday) as you hadn't placed a farm direct order -you do get automated reminders to place a farm direct order, and we had had several exchanges during the week as i explained to you how this worked.
to be honest, and with hindsight, i should not have placed this dummy order at the last minute - as the drivers schedules for Saturday had already been created, and that meant I added it on manually And picked the order myself manually.
even so, i thought i had done this correctly, but somehow, the order didn't appear on the driver's schedule on his phone and so didn't get through to you - I can't think how this happened, I will need to pick up with our routing software provider to understand what went wrong.
Obviously I am really sorry for this - I am cancelling the order I created. a full refund has been processed and will be with you in a couple of days.
I am sorry for my incompetence and the inconvenience caused.

This is a very kind company
This is a very kind company, they are responsive to issues. The food they deliver is brilliant and worth the money. The delivery drivers are always really kind and nice, and happy to wait while I put the food into boxes. This company have become a life saver for my illness.

Farm Direct are the best! I have been buying my weekly groceries from Farm Direct for many years and love them. The food is seasonal, local, ethical, fresh and tastes so much better than supermarket groceries. Far less packaging and lovely people!

Farm Direct offers excellent, fresh, and seasonal products, including unique items you won’t find elsewhere. Their selection of meat, fish and cheese is particularly good. A true gem!

The company keeps sending rotten eggs.
It already 2nd time I receive duck eggs that is rotten. I ordered 6 pack of 6 eggs but received 10 packs. Once started to check I realize that half of the eggs completely rotten. And the rest is already old and will go bed very soon. It is disgusting, the customer have to deal with rotten eggs. Not ordering from this company anymore, not recomend to anyone.

thanks for returning all the eggs, which i have reviewed to understand what went wrong - initially, i put four boxes of eggs in your order from what was available and i looked at one of hte dates, and it said 18th august - i failed to look at the 3 others that were dated 8/8 - these should have been thrown out, but it was my fault for not checking more closely.
I put those in your order, but then we had new stock come in, before your order went out and so we put in 6 of these in, all dated 22nd - these were all in good condition, though a shorter dated than we would usually expect - and so i have picked up with our supplier to understand why this is, as it is not good enough - though they were in date and in good condition.
that meant you had 10 boxes in total against 6 ordered - 6 of them were in good condition - the other four should have been removed - so a bit of a series of errors by me and the team and i really apologise for my incompetence and the inconvenience caused.

In the past I have had excellent…
In the past I have had excellent produce from this company. My last few experiences have been poor. I order something, and completely the wrong product is sent.
This latest one is a good example. I got an email stating English Discovery apples were in stock. I ordered 8kg for family, friends and me. What arrived were Gala apples, and not even English, and two rotten ones in the box.
The mission statement is inspiring and I really want to support this, but supplying foreign standard issue instead of English heritage varieties is not something I want to support.
I have now had a full explanation and offer of refund, which makes me feel a lot better about the situation. The hot weather has been difficult for purveyors of fresh produce, and the logistics are challenging. So I will be putting another order in and hoping for the genuine article - there is nothing to beat our English heritage apples and this is one of very few companies that offer to supply them.

I am very sorry for this poor service, we were excited to be getting the first discovery apples In last week but unexpectedly there were significant quality issues with them, due to the hot conditions, which meant that they had to be sorted through and poor ones picked out. This meant that we actually received a fraction of the quantity we wanted.
We did end up getting some non ul gala apples in to deal with the situation at short notice and not let customers down and we should have flagged that to you either by email and or on the doorstep, and I am sorry if we didn't and we can of course refund the apples
I will look into this when I am back in front of a PC and am very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Good quality local seasonal produce
Good quality local seasonal produce, both organic and pesticide free at reasonable prices.Sustainable packaging with minimal plastic in recyclable boxes that can be returned at the next delivery. Very friendly drivers. I like the live tracker sent on the morning of delivery so that you know exactly when to expect the delivery. Occasionally there's the odd off product or poor packing of the boxes with fragile produce below heavier items but complaints are swiftly responded to and refunds offered when possible. The summer fruit offer from my last orders have been exceptionally good.

Great quality service - true to its mission

Very disappointing experience
This was my first and last experience with this company. The customer service was terrible. On the day my order was delivered, I received another invoice with a different amount and was charged again. I called, emailed, and even submitted a contact form through their website, but I never received any response. Very disappointing experience. I would recommend ordering from a company that is more trustworthy.

Farm direct are absolutely brilliant! I’ve been with them for almost a 1 decade now. Really good product, i love how everything is seasonal and from the UK. They are great at communicating if there ever is any issue and they are always offering deals or new and exciting offers.
