Fast and friendly
They arrived quickly and everyone I spoke to was very friendly.
I sent over pics of my boiler/HIU beforehand to check if they could assist. They said they couldn't promise anything and came out for a look. They couldn't work with my HIU so no resolution on the day. In the end I was just charged the call out fee and no labour costs which was fair in my view.
Can't say anything about their work as they couldn't help in my particular case but staff were fast and friendly.

Professional, prompt and personal
We made a “cold” call in regards to blocked toilets at one of our restaurants. Someone responded immediately and sought to help us as soon as possible. One of their plumbers arrived the next morning, solved the blockages and then followed up with a call and a written email report. So great customer service and effective plumbing solution.

You sorted out my problem very quickly.The plumber was friendly and helpful. I have no comparison with prices against your competition but ended up paying £154 which was £60 call out charges and for what was 10 minutes of the plumbers time plus VAT.Expensive for a pensioner, but what was the option.?

Boiler repair
I called fast response about my boiler that had stopped working. They said that they would could come the same day. I received a call from them advising that an engineer would be with me in an hour but this was nearly two hours. As advised they would take a payment from me of £60 for the call out.
The engineer who came took of the front of the boiler and started to do some checks saying that the PCB board needed replacing. He then went on to say as my boiler was so old a new one would be better and quoted £3500. I advised that i needed a repair as I couldn't currently afford a new boiler. He then asked for a hairdryer where he spent 15 minutes of his time trying to see if he could dry the PCB board out in case it was wet.
Overall I was charged £142 for a call out with no repair to the boiler and advise that i needed a new one.
Most of the extra time I was charged for was the engineer staring at the boiler, drying it with my hairdryer and then making a call to his boss to take another payment from my card, saying he needed a code once the payment had gone though. This was not needed the first time for any payment and I felt uncomfortable as a single lady in my home with a man who did not seem in a rush to leave.
The next day I contacted another company who came the next day, replaced the PCB board and had my boiler up and running.
I would not recommend this company at all and would not trust anyone who offers a service where you pay £142 for nothing to be done.

Hi Gemma, I'm sorry that you were not happy with the service, but I would like to address some points you have made.
Firstly, the appointment was for an evening visit, and we arrived within the time frame. The charges were quoted over the phone and agreed. Once arrived, the engineer checked over the boiler and confirmed that the PCB was indeed the problem. As the boiler was old and in poor condition, we would rather be honest with our customers and explained that you are spending good money over bad. As once the PCB was replaced, something else could easily go wrong with the boiler as it was old and in a bad state.
In regard to the time spent, we have only charged you minimum fee for the visit, we did not charge any extra time. The engineer felt bad for you, as at that time of night the shop were shut, so he tried his best to get the boiler working, by drying out the PCB. Unfortunately, this didn't work, but it certainly did not cost you any extra money. In fact, he was there for over 45 minutes but only charged for the half hour. This charge would have been the same whether we were there for 5 minutes or 30 minutes.
Once the job comes to a close, the engineer has to call the office in order to clear the payment, this takes a couple of minutes. The fact that you were upset because you were by yourself with the engineer is beyond our control, as we come when asked to do a job.
The bottom line is that you have an ancient boiler in poor condition, we spent extra time trying to get the boiler working and didn't charge for it. We could not get the parts at that time of night, we correctly diagnosed the fault and gave you advice regarding the boiler. We have only charged the minimum for the visit.

Fast response and nice people, however very expensive. £59/30mins base + call out, equipment, materials and VAT. Estimate quote upfront to manage expectations would be wise.

It can be difficult to quote for certain jobs, such as a blocked drain, like you had. This is why we charge by the half hour. If the job is easy and clears quickly It's comes to less, but if the job is difficult it takes more time and costs more.
Fast and effective service
Fast Response Plumbers were a really fast, professional and effective service. They were able to attend the property within 2 hours of calling and on a Sunday. They were straight forward and honest about costs and ensured you understood what needed to be done and why.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Antique Boiler - No Problem.
Really great service. Three polite and helpful guys with a wealth of knowledge. We have a very old boiler and the guys got it running within 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend and use again. Came on a Sunday too!
