A big thank you for coming out so quickly to repair my leak!! I haven't had any issues since and the least I could do was leave you a good review to show my appreciation! Your plumber clearly knew his stuff as I spent ages trying to locate the leak which he located in 5 minutes!! The leak was then swiftly repaired and I was charged for the hour. Was definitely worth the money as someone else could have potentially taken hours or days to locate it. I have already recommended you to my neighbour for their washing machine which needs plumbing in. Thank you again!!

I called fast response plumbers stating I had a leak which was leaking through into the flats below, the call was answered promptly and my address details swiftly noted which I was impressed by. I also stated that I needed someone to attend as soon as possible. I was actually shocked when the plumber turned up within the hour, especially as it was a Sunday evening. The plumber was very helpful and courteous and explained that he’d need to stop the mains water to the building, which he did promptly. Following the repair of the leak, the plumber named Chris actually said to me that since the leak has been repaired he is not charging any further and he proceeded to vacuum/soak up excess water from my soaking carpets to prevent further water damage - A big thank you to the fast response team for your help and for not making a mountain out of a mole hill. Highly recommended for a fast efficient service.

Warning!!!!! - £59 PER HALF OF HOUR so do the math and you get £118 PER HOUR - you are also charged VAT ON TOP of this.

I guess one has to be VERY VERY desperate - as we were - to end up paying £394 for a basin waste and trap replacement of which only approx £50 is materials.

Why are end consumers, individuals, told the no VAT price???? Surely because is lower and Fast Response Plumbers count on people only getting the £59 part and not the per HALF OF HOUR part.

We are not companies and we can't claim VAT so as any price on the shelf we should be told the total price (incl VAT). But that would be £70.8 per HALF OF HOUR, £141.6 PER HOUR respectively and that would probably put off a lot of even very desperate customers. Because that is the business model here - get the desperate ones, just take advantage of a bad situation because they will pay. This is a rip off. I felt like someone stole my money.

And out of 2 hours that I have been charged for only 30-40 minutes were actual work as of course they have to go and buy parts (not to the near by store as I suggested because there are not quality parts) as they don't have them and everything they do it's in slow motion. They are professionals, they do this for a living and don't have parts in their van, can you believe that? What is that sink made of? And they don't know how long the work may take. AGAIN they are professionals, they have done that before ( hopefully) they should be able to estimate time and total charges before doing the work, so you, the customer, can make a decision whether get the service or not.

Another thing that worried me is that the plumber asked me to sign the invoice in blank - no value there - before he started the work. That is not right!

So dear Fast Response Plumbers Ltd please be more transparent and professional. I would suggest taking as much information as possible when a customer calls so the professional going to do the job can go there PREPARED as much as possible. I am sure that a lot more customers will be happier with the service.

Friendly and very efficient service. Chris was great to deal with and very helpful.

We were pleased to see the same guys who installed our CH boiler 14 months ago. They serviced the boiler very efficiently yesterday two days after we'd rung them. We would heartily recommend Fast Response as plumbers and installers of heating systems.

I had got myself into a tight spot on a DIY plumbing job.
I managed to get an airlock in the whole hot water system when refilling the cold water tank; Chris from Fast Response arrived the same afternoon, listened patiently to my description of the problem, and was able to promptly (and courteously) apply the correct treatment to get it working again - without it costing the earth.
This meant the family has got their hot running water back without significant delay.
Thanks for a job well done.

You pay per half hour - and it's expensive. The first 5 minutes were spent parking the van in our (large) forecourt. Then the very friendly chap made his way s l o w l y to where the issue was and as soon as we were 5 minutes into the 2nd half-hour told me he couldn't fix it.

Don't deal with this company. Scammers.
I am a pensioner. They came to fix my boiler and tried to charge £900!
They should be ashamed of themselveves.

I never write reviews, but Fast Response Plumbers have driven me to this. They have got to be the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. STAY AWAY.

They failed to locate a serious leak from the water tank, which was then picked up by another plumbing company I hired, who actually knew what they were doing.

Fast Response Plumbers then charged me £154 for doing absolutely nothing. They told me they weren't able to deal with the issue. A plumbing company not able to deal with a straight forward leak in a tank? Unbelievable. They didn't know what they were doing, didn't even locate the leak, messed around to kill time and then left with my money, leaving me with a leaking water tank to deal with myself.

I then called them and emailed them repeatedly for weeks asking for a report and they ignored every single email and call. Which is when I had to get a different company to come and investigate. Who then fixed the issues within 2 hours.

Companies like this shouldn't be able to get away with this. A disgrace.

Paid just shy of £300 to be told they couldn’t fix my boiler and they didn’t even quote me on how much a new one would be - I was told I’d have to ring the office and make another appointment.

They should operate a no fix, no fee policy and give me a refund.

After we were quoted nearly £2000 by another company to get our underfloor heating working properly, we called on Fast Response to give us a quote hoping they would be cheaper.

The guy who came found the problem, greased the pin that was sticking, and got our heating working again. He said, "That only took ten minutes so shall I service your boiler while I'm here?" which he proceded to do.

Total cost including VAT was £144.

We had a problem with the flush on our toilet so called out Fast Response Plumbers. The plumber turned up without a toolbox... clearly because they're charging a rate by the minute.
He then had a cursory glance at the toilet cistern and said it was a really old part that he'd never seen before and they don't make them like that anymore - we then confirmed we'd bought the toilet brand new from Victoria Plum only 18 months previously so he backtracked a little.
He then said he couldn't get access without breaking the tiles around it; the plumber who originally installed it subsequently confirmed this was definitely not the case. He then charged us £70 for the privilege of wasting our morning!
Upon subsequently complaining, our money was refunded but they couldn't come out to actually fix it as they 'didn't have time' i.e. had no idea what to do.
