Mattress unfit for purpose
We purchased a new bed and mattress from Fishpools in February and within days the mattress developed a hump down the middle. Fishpools deny any problem with it despite the fact the hump is clearly visible even when covered by the duvet and makes sleeping uncomfortable. Very disappointed in their unwillingness to accept any responsibility. Not what we expected from them.

Following your concerns, we arranged for an independent technician to inspect the mattress. During the visit, a full assessment was carried out, including the relevant measurements and industry-standard checks. The technician concluded that the mattress was within the manufacturer's accepted tolerances and was not found to be faulty.
We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for. As the inspection did not identify a manufacturing fault, we are unable to offer a replacement, as it would be expected to perform in the same way. If you disagree with the findings, we have recommended obtaining an independent inspection from a recognised furniture inspection company, and we would be happy to review any new evidence they provide.

Two grand guys came spot on the texted delivery time.
Very polite and careful in the removal of the old furniture and the building of the new Parker Knoll suite.
Worked very hard in all this heat and it took them a good hour in total.

Professional and courteous
Both Paul and Desmond were very professional and well organised from the moment they arrived. I received a courtesy call beforehand confirming their expected arrival time, which was very helpful.
They replaced the glass carefully and efficiently, leaving the area spotless with no mess whatsoever. Despite the extremely hot weather, they remained friendly, courteous, and focused throughout the job. Before leaving, they made sure I was completely satisfied with the work and that everything had been completed to a high standard.

Fishpools for Quality Furniture and Excellent Customer Service
We always use Fishpools for our furniture. As a respected family company we trust them for quality products and excellent customer service. We recently visited Fishpools to find two new sofas, they have a huge range to choose from and we like to see and try the furniture rather than ordering online. We particularly liked the Parker Knoll sofas but had a few questions about the different styles. We were helped by David Short who was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our queries. David was very friendly and patient, he did not rush us at all but left us to make our own decision. He ordered fabric samples for us so that we could look at the designs and colours at home. David made the whole experience very enjoyable. We ordered two Parker Knoll sofas and they are being delivered next week. All our experiences with Fishpools have always been positive and seamless.

Bad experience.
I have bought many items from this store but not anymore. My last purchase, £4500 sofa, was damaged on delivery. The delivery man did have the courtesy to tell me he had damaged the sofa which I am grateful for. Parts were then ordered to replace the broken part. Following two subsequent visits by the technician it was still not fixed and I am unable to use, as that’s what the technician told me. Whilst trying to arrange the third visit I mentioned a good will gesture, as I have had to take work leave for the previous visits, but this was shot down immediately. I was told quite rudely the company will never offer this, which surprised me considering previous reviews. So now I am left with an unusable headset and no communication from Fishpools.

After 2 months of waiting still no delivery
After making an online order and waiting for more than 2 months, at the end i had to cancel it , customer services does not actually care, only 1 person on the phone, so prepare to wait 20-30 min at least. Despite 2 months of wait, at the end they were not sure how or when i would get my delivery. Customer services even did not try to find out nor make any effort to investigate. At the end i lost it and ask to cancel everything , order over 3k, x2 of the items were in stock, but again they were never delivered, most likely the aim was to have 1 delivery only. This is my first and last time dealing with this company, as i see no effort or appreciation in giving them business.

Unfortunately, we experienced delays from one of our suppliers, which affected the availability of your complete order. We appreciate that this was frustrating. As advised in your email confirmation, your order was scheduled to be arranged for delivery from the 11th July. However, before delivery could be booked, you contacted us on the 14th of July requesting that the order be cancelled, and we processed this in line with your wishes.
We understand that delays are disappointing, and while we always aim to keep customers updated and deliver orders as quickly as possible, supplier lead times are occasionally outside of our control. We are sorry that, on this occasion, we were unable to meet your expectations.
