Great customer service
Our account manager explained everything very clearly before we agreed to signing up, and since we have opened our account the communication has been very easy. The card is easy to use and accepted widely. Invoice process is clear.

Had such a bad experience with this company, was given a quote over the phone agreed prices and thought good to go. Started using the cards and was getting calls saying they had exceeded limit, very confused as wasnt informed of limit and had explained how much fuel I required! Absolute waste of time! They charge double fees for issuing…
They charge double fees for issuing cards, then have trouble refunding money. Prices are inflated, higher than what they quote at the beginning of the week. It often happens that the price on the invoice is 30% higher than what appears at the fuel pump. They don't respond to emails. Avoid this company.

Positive experience with Fleetmaxx
We already had fuel cards and i received a call from Danielle Clay at Fleetmaxx in Oct 2024 and she sent me details of what Fleetmaxx Solutions could offer. It took me quite a while to respond (June 2025!), as it was very busy workwise. Danielle was understanding of this, was patient not pushy and a friendly voice. In addition Fleetmaxx provided a bigger discount! We signed up in July 2025 and my experience so far has been positive.

WORST FUEL CARD PROVIDER IN UK
WORST FUEL CARD PROVIDER IN UK!
We've been with Fleetmaxx for a number of years.
I can't say we were happy considering that their fuel card prices are far higher than some other fuel card providers. We used their cards occasionally on selected fuel stations.
You have to check every invoice they send you, because they often 'inadvertently' make a mistake of charging extra. You certainly won't be charged less, don't worry. The arrogance of some of the employees is simply shocking. They are far from a friendly comapny to do business with!
Their latest trend is charging a £30 fee for bounced Direct Debits. Although there's money in the account, enough to take the payment of the invoice via DD, they will send you an email to inform you about the bounced DD.
I guess that's the new PPE scam, trying to charge customers, with an excuse of the bounced DD.
Unfortunately it did not work with us. They refused to remove the additional charge, although we had the proof (screenshots) the account had enough funds to cover the DD. We've taken a screenshot the day before, on the day of DD and the day after. Funds were available, however, according to them a DD bounced :-).
Sadly they are not the only one. Other companies have used the same trick. Once we challenged them DD are not bouncing anymore.
Now we cancelled all the DD, all companies were reported to FCA, including the bank where our business account was at the time.
I'm sure we will eventually hear of a new 'DD scandal', similar to PPE.
THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

We changed to fleetmaxx roughly one…
We changed to fleetmaxx roughly one year ago and it was a great move. The company as a whole are really helpful, Tom looks after our account for us and is always on hand to go above and beyond. We experienced an issue with one of our cards and one call to tom he exported all data for us to view and help deal with our issue quickly. Tom will provide us with great deals on Adblue to suit our station needs. He will send an email just checking in, knowing our account is always at the top of Tom's priority gives us huge reassurance having such a large fleet. I honestly feel like nothing is to much trouble. This hasn't gone unnoticed.
