Frogtape Avis 

Have to agree with most on here. I applied it to a newly painted surface which had been totally dry for at least 5 days. Applied it lightly and thought I'd test a bit first by placing it on wall then immediately peeling off. Despite saying its for painted surfaces it pulled the paint off the wall. So now we are left with a repair job. Completely rubbish product, wouldn't t use again.

Total rubbish tape, might stop leaking under,but if stuck to another painted surface, it rips the paint off, which just ruins the point of using the tape.

What a waste of money. Used it to mask off areas while painting. Took the paint off with it when removed!!! I would have rated it a zero!

Its rubbish use ordinary masking tape instead. it pulled the old emulsion and the new off down to the plastrer. Now having to sand and cut in. Very dissapointed. I will never buy again. I followed the instructions and as had to let first coat dry cut paint with Stanley knife.

Terrible useless tape
This stuff is literally worse than useless..please don’t waste your time and money. It ruined my newly decorated bedroom and I now need to pay £100s to have it fixed…just stick to good old masking tape!

Worst product going!! Purchased to give clean lines and edges, yet it rips majority of the paint off with it when removed…… and it’s not fussy weather it’s the wall it’s stuck too or the intended clean line your trying to achieve!! It’s done both meaning I’ve now got to sand down the walls and do it all again by hand

Absolute rubbish! £7 for tape to rip paint off my existing wall. I’d ad a photo if it was possible!!

Not what I was expecting for the price. Very expensive and It’s far worst than the blue masking tape you can get in any DIY store. It does bleed and has a habit of pulling paint off the wall when removing. Don’t buy this product!!!

Please do not buy this tape, it is an absolute waste of money and effort. I have spent the last hour trying to get it to stick to a wall that is clean and was painted last year - so it’s definitely ‘cured’ as was suggested as an issue. I only want it for a small job but it’s taking me longer to get the tape to stick than it will do to paint the wall.

You really are better off buying something else. I wouldn’t give this 1star if I was able to leave 0.

Used to be great (was 5 stars from me). Was my go to masking tape. They've "redesigned" it though. Cheaper materials etc. Is now the same as any other low cost masking tape. Bleeds all over the place. Waste of money and effort now.

Terrible product! I applied frog tape delicate to fully cured crown paint. It was only on 15 mins and it ripped the paint off. In some places back to plaster.

Works better as a paint stripper.

Please don't waste your money on this green frog tape ... it does not come off never mind leaving a residue it takes off the paint its protecting ...it is expensive compared to other tapes but it is totally useless.
I have was painting my sons wardrobe edges white ( which had been replaced and were unpainted) We had painted his wall grey so I placed the tape on the wall to protect it (it was not left on too long according to the manufacures own guidance ) when I finished I removed the tape as carefully as possible ( i have pictures but I can't download them) it just took off great swathes of grey paint... This product should be on the market it's not fit for purpose.

Absolute rubbish. Used as per instructions and on a wall that had been painted over 3 days before. Calling it low tack must be some kind of joke. It rips off the paint better than some paint strippers I have used. Not worthy of 1 star.

I should know better! I’ve been burnt by frog tape before but I thought I would give it another go and again it’s pulled all my freshly painted wall off when removing the tape even when lightly applied and removed immediately after second coat!

I wish I could give it a zero rating! Absolutely useless and no better than regular cheap masking tape. Ruined my ceiling. Will never use again. Avoid.

Do not buy, literally peeled off my ceiling paint when removing the tape. Normal masking tape works so much better, I only brought as I had run out and thought I would use the ‘professional stuff’ big mistake.

Rubbish product. Peels the paint off the walls. Would give this a zero. Do not buy, its no better than cheap tape.

Rubbish tape!! Spend ages taping up with a lazer level only for it to peel off all the paint below it. Will be going back to the cheaper tapes that do a better job.
Awful product. Dont waste your money folks.
