Very pushy on a level 3 survey despite only wanting to order a level 2. When the surveyor came to the property they couldn't understand why we had a level 3 and said the level 2 would have been absolutely fine. The survey itself was thorough and easy to read, however not happy that I felt pressured into something I didnt want and the property didn't require.

I spoke with Libby De Gelas today regarding a Level 3 Building Survey (Structural Survey) that I have booked through GoTo, and I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the service she provided.

From the outset, Libby took the time to explain exactly what the survey would cover, why a Level 3 survey was the right choice for a property of this age and type, and what we could realistically expect from the report. As first-time buyers of an older farmhouse requiring refurbishment, it was extremely reassuring to have somebody explain the process so clearly and patiently.

She also took detailed notes about the particular areas of the property that I wanted the surveyor to pay close attention to, ensuring these were passed on as part of the survey brief. Nothing felt rushed, and every question I asked was answered thoroughly and professionally.

Another pleasant surprise was the price. Based on the research I'd carried out beforehand, I had been expecting a Level 3 survey on a property of this size to cost somewhere between £1,200 and £1,600. GoTo's quotation came in at £1,160, which I thought represented excellent value for money.

Overall, the service has been first class from start to finish. The survey has now been booked, and GoTo are handling all the arrangements directly with the estate agent, making the process very straightforward.

A huge thank you to Libby for her professionalism, knowledge and friendly manner. She is a real credit to GoTo, and based on my experience so far, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both her and the company to anyone looking for a comprehensive building survey.
