I submitted a repair request yesterday and I got a call back within 24 hours. I spoke to Cian who was very helpful and patient in explaining what comes next after the approval of my claim. He was very enthusiastic and reassuring. Overall an amazing experience, will recommend!

Do not trust Händler Protect. I was forced to take their "Gold Cover" as a mandatory part of my car purchase, only to find out it is practically worthless.
My clutch slave cylinder – a part explicitly listed as covered on Page 4 of the policy – failed after only 2,458 miles. Despite this ridiculously low mileage, Händler Protect rejected the claim (Ref: 36652251/C1), dismissively calling it "wear and tear."
The most frustrating part is their "customer service." They have now completely stopped responding to my emails. Every time I tried to reach out, I received nothing but a generic, dismissive "copy-paste" response that didn't address any of my points regarding safety or the policy terms.
Because the failure caused a leak in the hydraulic system shared with the BRAKES, it posed a severe safety hazard. Since they ignored my appeals and stopped communicating, I had to pay £630 out of my own pocket to make the car safe.
The matter is now with The Motor Ombudsman (Case: 00314580) and is being reported to Trading Standards. Avoid this company at all costs – they take your money and disappear when you need them.

I logged in a repair claim for the first time, and I was confused and upset about some of the terms. The repair support staff Jimmy was kind enough to reassure me and offer a resolution. The whole process was seamless.

Absolutely useless and not worth the paper it's written on. My warranty came with the purchase of a new car. I made a claim and despite the quote for repair being within the value covered by the warranty, the claim was denied because apparently it would have made the car like new. Well, the engine would have been new but the rest of the car would not and what is the point of having a cover value if a claim that falls within it is denied. Don't touch these people with a bargepole. The date was April-August 2024.

First time having to make a claim and the process was very simple. I spoke to Cian, who was professional, friendly and kindly explained the breakdown of my repair. Although the outcome wasn’t as expected, Cian ensured the best possible result for me. Much appreciated Cian!

I have had a very reasonable chat with a gentleman called Cian at Handler Protect and he assured me he would deal with my claim as best as he could. I have found this very reassuring as the place I bought my vehicle were quit the opposite and I have been left feeling frustrated until this morning.

I bought this car, and Handler Protect was the guarantor at the car dealership... I had not hear about Handler before but know that they are the best guys on the job! They have covered me twice now and the process was smooth and quick not time wasting, no complicated tasks, just a few simple docs and an easy email and it's done! These guys don't waste time neither upset you! Thank you so much for the great offer reduction on my 1 year Protection, as well! You're the best!

I recently had to make a warranty claim for a part on my Mercedes, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Handler Protect.
Kian and Lucy were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They made the whole process straightforward, kept me updated throughout, and handled everything quickly and efficiently.
Their communication was clear, they were extremely helpful, and the claim was processed without any unnecessary delays.

do not buy protect cover from them , they just want decline calim , do not want to fix it , this is not same issue , i have called for other issue and declined

I’ve had a great experience with Handler Protect. I originally took out the gold cover on 10/10/2023 for 2 years when I bought my car from the dealer. Before the policy expired, the customer support team contacted me and offered a discounted price to continue the cover for another year, which I decided to go ahead with.
Unfortunately, I later had an issue with the car and needed to make a claim. I contacted the team and provided all the required documents, including the diagnosis/quotation, MOT, and full service history. The process was very smooth and straightforward once the documents were submitted and reviewed under the warranty terms.
Today I received a call from Cian with the good news that my claim had been approved, which was a big relief. Overall, I’m very happy with the service, communication, and support. A smooth and professional experience from start to finish—highly recommended.

Absolutely joke! Submitted a claim, then to be asked for additional paperwork, jumping through hoops. Then declined as the car is to old! Why allow a policy to be sold and then not cover it due to the age, for reference this so called GOLD policy was purchased last year.
What an absolute waste of my time and money!

I have received a settlement after a bit of back and forth with handler. My original claim was rejected because of a breached 30 day deadline, which I wasn't made aware of, even after double checking a few details after the 30 days.
I appealed the case and eventually got put in touch with Cian, who to his credit, has been very quick and clear with his communications. He has offered to cover a large portion of my bill as a goodwill.
I wish my case had been dealt with 'normally' instead of having to go through the appeals team, but I'm happy with the outcome in the end.
