Excellent company to deal with. Great at communicating and advising. Primarily worked with Rhodri, Mitchell and Gina. Everyone was brilliant especially Gina who was so integral in getting the sale over the line. Although there is an outlay with selling a house, you very much get what you pay for. No hesitation in recommending. :-)

We feel really pleased with the photos taken of our house by the letting company. The photographer was courteous and friendly and photographed the whole house efficiently. We received a series of photographs within a few hours and feel very happy with the results.

A pleasure to work with this professional team from the Pontcanna office especially Gina & Anna. Quick in response, transparent & sound advice. We were in good hands. The whole process was successful instead of stressful. Well done guys.

Gavin Sheppard came yesterday to give the valuation, he made us feel so relaxed and did not put any pressure on us at all to go with his estate agents . as I have experienced with other estate agents who can be very pushy . Gavin was curious and friendly and gave a true estimate of our home. He sent his colleague Mike Bailliy to take photos and measure the rooms Mike is also a very caring,friendly man, nothing to much trouble for him he is very patient, he took so many lovely photo's of our home, I am delighted with them. We originally had the retirement flat on the market for sale with a well known retirement property based estate agents. It soon became apparent that the service they were providing was ineffective in securing a viewing let alone a sale. We were even asked to take our own photos, a request which we definitely declined.We decided to employ Hern&Crabtree Llandaff as they had already sold other flats within the complex. The manager Owen, was very professional and quickly secured a buyer after the second viewing. The communication we recieved from Owen and the team was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell a property in the Fairwater/Llandaff area.

Another fantastic experience with Hern & Crabtree. The photography and presentation of the property was first-rate, but most importantly the communication with the team at the Llandaff office is always excellent - they are friendly, incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make the process as smooth as possible - the peace of mind it gives knowing you can pop in for advice at any time cannot be underestimated. I have used them for numerous house sales/purchases over the years - in my experience Hern & Crabtree is by far the best estate agency in Cardiff and very highly recommended.

The team at the Llandaff/Insole branch were always really friendly and helpful with the recent sale of our mother's house. Owen is a credit to the estate agency, he explained the process clearly and we felt he was very honest, and the team always kept us informed of viewings etc. All in all the sale of the house went through very smoothly and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again in the future.

Extremely happy with the process of buying our property with Hern & Crabtree. Excellent communication throughout and we felt like they were working for us as much as the vendor. A very personal service all round and we would highly recommend them.

Had a viewing with Adele who is one of the agents as we were looking to rent an apartment. I gave mine & my partners details to Adele along with info of when we could move in, our wages & professions. I was told these details would be given to the landlord who would decide which tenants they’d like as there were a lot of viewings & interest of the property. I never heard back from Adele or anyone from Hern & Crabtree. I emailed twice for an update & to ask why we’d not had any communication but never heard anything back. I could see on Rightmove that a letting had been agreed but I’ve had no communication at all. I understand agents are busy but had an expectation that we’d hear back regardless, even if just a generic email. Quite poor service I feel, especially as I’ve had no response to any of my emails.

Throughout the complete selling process Hern and Crabtree were brilliant and professional. Gina Clements was outstanding in the way she ensured that I and my solicitor were fully updated even though the buyers solicitors made the process very difficult. I would recommend Hern & Crabtree to everyone especially Gina Clements.

Excellent experience. We had been trying to buy a house for 2 years we viewed a house and placed an offer, we were unsuccessful but H&C gave us first viewing on another property a few days later, we loved it and put in an offer which was matched, I had offered higher, a little too much though. H&C spoke to the sellers and came back with a selling price higher than previous, but lower than my higher offer - saving us a little on the mortgage, score.

From this point onward, we had a relatively pain-free process, just a hiccup where a structural survey was required but it all went through fine and we're very happy with our first house.

Shout out to Gina for being an excellent point of contact, helping us progress quicker.

The H&C Lettings Team found a Tenant at the rental level we wanted and finalised the paperwork within 2 weeks of being instructed. We were kept fully informed throughout and the rent arrived in our Bank account immediately ! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any potential Landlords.
