My first purchase from Highland bikes, I was looking for ortleib panniers and whilst their price was similar to others I like to try different retailers. The service was outstanding and the parcel arrived on time and well packaged. I would recommend that you try them.

I ordered from Highland bikes because the website stated the parts were in stock and would be despatched the day of purchase if ordered before 1pm, I ordered on Sunday expecting it to be despatched Monday. The order wasn't despatched until Wednesday which says to me the parts weren't in stock . No big deal but I received no emails telling me my order would be delayed and I actually ordered the same parts from another shop on Tuesday afternoon as I needed to be sure I had them by the weekend and this shop did despatch that day and I received next day.
So would I use Highland bikes again? Probably not as I couldn't trust their website stock info or expect an email that my order will be delayed.
Sorry guys but you need to do better in today's market.

Thanks for your response, I wasn't aware Monday was a bank holiday apologies, but Tuesday wasn't. It really doesn't help when you state you are a working shop with bikes to fix . Come on guys that's the excuse everyone uses. Take your bad reviews and learn from them don't turn it back on the customer to feel bad because you are working so hard. I have worked in bike shops myself

Wanted a specific bike for my daughter, not stocked locally anywhere I could see. Highland Bikes had a great price with free shipping, delivered with only a small amount of assembly left to do, bike perfect, thank you.

Excellent customer service , one part from the kit was missing and very fast reply and missing part sent out 1st class and recieved following day

I need to return an item as unsuitable for my needs. First delivery via Royal Mail didn't arrive, I was left a card despite been in. Second delivery worked. However item needs to be returned so I have emailed twice and no reply. Disappointed.

Exactly what I wanted. Well packaged and local. Not 5 stars because being local to Inverness I was expecting it sooner. 6 days (over a weekend admittedly).

Brilliant experience with highland bikes, they went over and above expectations. After a last minute cancellation of a bike on my son’s birthday I needed to find certain bike in a very limited amount of time, highland bike was the only shop that tried to get the bike out to me on time, considering I’m in England and they are Scotland I wasn’t sure if it would make it, however it did arrive on time on the day of his birthday. They were so friendly, efficient and helpful and made my son’s birthday. Great people and business.

Always great service from a knowledgeable team. Great to have a good local bike shop I can rely on.
