Homebase - Lewes Avis 

Items were ordered, paid for with click and collect and were ready to collect at the designated time.

Great team, great deals!

As always it was super easy to use click and collect at Homebase. I was in and out of the Lewes branch with my order in under two minutes and the guy who served me was very friendly and efficient.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Came in for some paint and was overwhelmed by choice. I spoke to two brilliant members of staff who were able to point me in the right direction for what I needed. Both of which were friendly as always and easily able to find what I needed. Couldn't recommend more!!!!

Polite staff. Order had faulty items. Replacement was sorted out & collection of faulty goods. Was able to speak to staff, not just all in line

My order was ready to collect right away and as I’m pregnant I asked if someone might be able to help me with the table and two chairs to my car. There was no hesitation to help, a really helpful guy carried the furniture and put everything in my car, even took my trolley back to the store for me.

- Delivery to local store was promised by 29.07.2024
- I walked to the store to ask in person on 31.07.2024: nothing received
- Now it is 4.35pm on 02.08.2024, and still have not heard

I visiting this branch of Homebase on the 14/7/24 and the service that I received from Kelly and Jayden was outstanding. I bought a garden sofa whilst I was there and Kelly definitely excelled my customer expectations she was so friendly and helpful.

Though this branch is not close to where I live I will definitely return based on my recent visit.

We travelled 40 miles to this store for click and collect and were so happy to recieve great customer service from Shelley at the checkout. Very friendly store.

I was helped by Kelly in your Lewis store this morning… she was extremely helpful offered to get my a trolley when saw I was struggling then took it over to till for me… I’ve worked in customer service for over 40 years with M&S and BA where the customer comes first this is now not the norm but Kelly and Charley (on the till) restored my faith which had all but gone. They are both a credit to your company. First Class customer service.

Very helpful staff, a sales assistant known as Jess at Lewes was very kind and went out of her way to help me find what I was looking for.

I am a Lewes resident (semi disabled) and purchased a garden hose today at Homebase Lewes. Unfortunately on unpacking the box I found the hose container was broken. I returned to Homebase & because there wasn’t another in stock one was ordered for me to be delivered. My reason for writing is to compliment the efficiency of the young man who served & rectified the order with such speed & friendliness. Homebase are lucky to have him.

Sophia scallop shell chair in pink comes up a salmony orangey pink. I went into the store to compare with the grey colour as I was considering exchanging. A lot of fuss to get the grey colour due to staff shortages - I was nearly asked to come back 2 hours later. They did bring it for me to see and then said 'I suppose you want to see it then' - and opened it a tiny amount. They then exclaimed when I said I would stick with the pink one as they grey is very dark.

Bought some plants and tendered a £20 pound note for £10 purchase and received no change. When I questioned this, cashier insisted I gave her £10! I only had a £20 note in my wallet and my receipt confirms £20 tender and £10 change due. I have the receipt as proof. Reluctantly I was discreetly handed a £10 note!

Unfortunately when I went to collect lampshade there was no gimbal inside so no good as a lampshade!! I got a refund
