Matthew has been really helpful with everything, has made the process of buying our first house really easy, couldn’t be happier with the outcome of everything, couldn’t of chosen anyone better to go through this whole process

A few weeks ago we popped in to have a nosey round the show room! Today we have just reserved our Hopkins home, having sold through the move easy scheme.

Jenna has been amazing through out, keeping us informed at every stage. The whole process has been so quick and smooth.

We have looked at lots of new build sites, and were some what underwhelmed, I can only say the “Hopkins experience” is like no other, it’s the little things that really make a difference.

We can’t wait to move in!

Hopkins homes are beautifully designed both inside & out!
The landscaping and the surrounding area are also fabulously thought through. The builders are friendly too but I must also make a mention to the marketing & sales team - Ann, who I met initially, Jenna Collins who took me through all the initial paperwork, both of them were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly & relaxed all at the same time which is what you need when buying a new home. Also, a nod to Jason, never met him but his correspondence is informative, helpful & puts you at ease. I would not hesitate to call the marketing team for some friendly advice during the purchasing process. I cannot wait to move into my new home 😄

Matt was very informative and made the experience of looking a lot easier.

We recently Exchanged on a property on the Mill Grove, Stowmarket developement and I can't thank Jenna highly enough, she has been very informative and helpful throughout the whole process so far. We visited the Barsham Vale site and met Matt. He was very knowledgeable and has really helped us with how we are going to proceed. He wasn’t pushy and the houses we viewed were lovely. Definitely recommend.

I recently bought a new house from Kim. Kim made what is usually a fraught and stressful time a truly remarkable
Experience. From the moment she suggested the type of house to the day we got our keys she ensured I was well informed and as much in control as possible. Kim even arranged cheese & wine evening for a group of single ladies to ensure when we moved in we already knew someone. All done in her own time. This personal touch made the transition from my family home of 32 years to a downsize new home such as comfortable experience. I am grateful to her help and empathy and I will not forget this remarkable lady! She is such an asset to Hopkins who are a supplier of top end houses. I have loved my Hopkins Home with all their quality touches such as coving, high ceilings, skirtings and many other features. Their aftercare service was also second to none as the few things found were all put right within 30 days.

We just purchased our second Hopkins Homes, Kim has truly been wonderful throughout the process. After a long journey after selling our house, Kim regularly kept in touch, lent an ear when the sale of our old property wasn't going to plan. Having purchased from Hopkins before, Kim is an asset to the company and made what is one of the most stressed process feel tolerable.

From my initial phone call, to six months after moving in to Chitts Hill Kim in sales has been absolutely brilliant. She has gone above and beyond to make the buying process, move and aftercare smooth and seamless. Having moved and purchased new builds many times previously, this was a great experience in comparison. Kim is an asset to Hopkins homes.

Having recently moved into our new home in Woolpit we couldn’t be happier. Jason has been amazing since the first time we met him and put the deposit down, he worked hard to get us into the house as quickly as possible even on his days off, this wasn’t a easy process but they bent over backwards to make it happen. Since moving in he’s checked in with us many times and always says hello and stops for a chat. Would recommend friends and family to purchase through Jason in Woolpit he’s a real asset to Hopkins and we wouldn’t have gone through with the purchase without all his hard work!

Just want to creat havoc just like highways agency that close the roads for no reason..this company, created havoc in bury st edmunds a 43 mile round trip to do a 2 mile trip... who are they kidding? And they say it's for complex works... liars just like most of the highways agency.. spent an hour watching a worker in his van laughing his head of.. and most of the time they are not even doing

We are very happy with our new Hopkins home in Mistley. Its in a great location, near the river and the development has been thoughtfully landscaped. Our moving process was lengthy for various reasons but Hopkins were very accommodating throughout.
Clare Canning at River Reach deserves a special mention for being so approachable and supportive, always on hand to answer my copious questions and reply to emails. Since moving in a few weeks ago , we found some snagging that needed to be addressed and this is being efficiently dealt with by Site Manager Jon who is equally professional and helpful. Over the last two years, we have visited various new build developments before buying. The quality of the build of Hopkins homes impressed us the most ( along with the staff we met) and guided our decision making.

Buying our home was a good experience, despite our buyers being very difficult Hopkins were very patient and generous - special thanks to Mandy and Nathanial.

Unfortunately after moving in the experience couldn't have been much more of a contrast. It turned out that the final checks were not carried out before we moved in which meant we moved in to a very dirty house that required a clean from top to bottom. We have also had issues with all external doors, with the patio doors needing to ripped out and replaced.

We had a snagging report carried out and when meeting site manager we expressly said anything that is too much hassle and beyond a quick touch up, dont worry, but nearly all the snags were accepted.

8 months later and there are snags that have not been resolved but when eventually managing to get a reply from customer service all snags have been closed - so I have given up any hope of those being carried out.

Snagging consists of a man in a van that specialises in repairing surfaces and respraying things, the first impression of these "repairs" is good but after 24hours or so the repair looks poor; there have been instances of multiple visits trying to fix one problem but it is made worse than when we started. I have ultimately given up with the process because it's more hassle than its worth.

We have had walls ripped out and remade, puddles of water inside our front door, damp bricks above the damp course, patio doors ripped out and replaced, panes of glass changed three times because they kept installing defective glass. All in all we have had 28 visits to rectify snags - 28 days where ive needed to plan around tradesmen.

All in all I a happy with my new home, but I have had to sink a fair bit of my own money that was not planned for to resolve issues with the build quality - I would not feel completely comfortable recommending Hopkins to friends or family without fair warning.
