I love this tool. Horticulture society's price point is a little over half of what it is on the very corporate Amazon's resale of the same tool. Even with shipping cost it is a way better experience... Voir plus

The price was 40% better on the items I purchased, than anywhere else I could find online. Items came well-packed, and in new-in-box condition! Couldn't ask for more.

Showed up smashed, dirty, grimey without a box

Showed up shipped without a box. Our tubing for a clean room was covered in grease, grime, had been smashed and torn. Completely unusable.
Horticulture Source response says they asked their vendor to reship the item. haven't heard anything in 4 days now from anyone....

Sold me a lineset for like 35$ Which is…

Sold me a lineset for like 35$ Which is a great deal, but then hit me with 150$ Shipping. Crazy, but whatever, i want the brand name one and they have it in stock.
I Place the order, and then they email me saying it is an additional 100$ shipping.
FYI this is a box thats less than 20lbs and 34x34x5. Over 250$ in shipping is insane!
Told them to cancel, and they had the brass to charge me a restocking fee and then FIGHT ME on refunding me the money! Scammers! They lure you in with good pricing and then tell you its double what you bought it at and take a % if you decide not to pay that. Insane!

FYI, their response is bogus. The box is 34x34x5. Ive purchased plenty of linesets. Its a 15-20lb box (varies from 3/8 to 5/8) at most and easily shippable via UPS.
These jerks insist its a whole pallet. Its not. The info they have in their system is for a pallet load of these linesets. Even offered to provide my own UPS label for the lineset, unless they are giving me a 34x34x34 box FULL of linesets, in which case i will gladly pay the 250$ shipping. Its a 25ft long hose that is 5/8 in diameter and another that is 1/4" in diameter. How is that 65 pounds and 34x34x34?
Scammers.

We’re sorry you felt frustrated, but your review leaves out key facts.

The shipping shown at checkout was an estimate. After the order was placed, the carrier cost came back significantly higher because this item ships as a large palletized shipment, not as a small parcel. The product was over 65 lbs and roughly 34" x 34" x 34" before even accounting for the pallet and packaging. Shipping a palletized item across the country is not comparable to sending a small box by standard parcel service.

When you chose not to proceed, we canceled the order at your request. We did not charge a restocking fee. A 5% cancellation fee was applied in accordance with the policy agreed to at checkout, which helps cover non-refundable payment processing costs incurred on canceled orders.

We do not “lure” customers in with pricing or invent shipping charges. We provide products at competitive prices, and in rare cases oversized freight shipments cost more than the initial estimate. When that happens, customers are given the option to proceed or cancel.

I recently had an unauthorized PayPal…

I recently had an unauthorized PayPal order of over $600 dollars to this website. I contacted them immediately to report the issue and to cancel the transaction. They never responded to my email so I contacted PayPal to explain the situation. They refused to reimburse me for this transaction for over a month. Finally after I had contacted my bank, they decided to do the right thing.. Almost.. They were going to charge me a convenience fee of $40 dollars! Do not trust this website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We take claims like this seriously, so it’s important to clarify what actually occurred. Our records show that you placed the order, then emailed asking for it to be canceled while simultaneously filing a PayPal dispute claiming “item not received.”

Once a PayPal dispute is opened, we are legally unable to cancel or refund the order directly—the funds are locked while PayPal conducts their investigation. Had you simply requested a cancellation without disputing the charge, we could have canceled and refunded the order immediately.

The delay was caused entirely by the PayPal dispute process, not by any lack of response or refusal on our part. As soon as PayPal allowed the transaction to be resolved, the refund was issued. Any fees referenced were related to non-refundable payment processing costs, not a “convenience fee.”

We’re always happy to help customers cancel or resolve issues quickly—but filing disputes before allowing us to assist only slows the process for everyone.

It took 16 days to get my order

It took 16 days to get my order, meanwhile they don’t answer the phones at all, just automated emails, no tracking information for over a week and a half, thought I was getting scammed until a different delivery company called me on day 14 and said they’d be here between 9-5 on day 16!!! Very frustrating if I would have known it was going to be this way I would have never used them!!

Your order weighed 998 lbs and shipped as a freight pallet delivery to a rural area in Maine, which requires scheduled delivery—this is why it took a bit longer. Freight carriers must coordinate delivery times directly with customers, and that’s when you received the call to set it up.
