Clearly laid out website. Great prices and actually a reduction from last years premium. There's nothing more annoying than never claiming and finding your new premium has increased. Certainly one of the best value home and contents insurers out there. Good communication with detailed policy documentation.

I placed a home insurance yesterday morning and within minutes realised that it didn't cover flood risk. I got in touch and was offered a policy with flood cover for almost twice the price. I asked them to cancel the policy as it was much more than our current insurers. Their quote stated that if the policy was cancelled within 14 days there would be no cancelation charge. An email confirmed cancelation and said they would take £50 from the refund for " setting up charges". This is scamming people, how can you say a refund in full and then take £50 from a customer who cancelled in minutes and what setting up charges could possibly been incurred ? Whatever is in the small print you must read it as they say it is in the quote that they will take money even within the 14 days. I thought legally anything bought not in person and online could be cancelled in 14 days without penalty. Really disappointed as we are pensioners in our 80's and can ill afford to throw away £50 in minutes for nothing. I have now received an email from Intelligent Insurance who have refunded the £50 as a gesture of goodwill , I am very pleased and will give them chance to quote in future. Well done Intelligent Insurance.

Insurance is a necessary evil and you don’t really find out how good or bad it is until you have claim. Hopefully I won’t find out but it was a very pleasant suprise to be quoted (a little) below last year’s premium for a change👍

I was struggling to find the right cover at a competitive price - we wanted something a little extra from our home insurance in term of cover, but didn't want to pay a huge premium because of this. I came across Intelligent Insurance and opted for an online quote - this was followed up by a call from Jack, who was very helpful, easy to talk to and explained the cover and premium options. I couldn't find anyone else who was able to match our needs both in cover and cost, so was more than happy to place our home insurance with Intelligent Insurance via Jack.

I first used Intelligent Insurance to insure a second home a year ago. I moved from my previous insurers because the cover and price were much better. I was surprised and delighted that the price at this renewal was even better than last year and although I shopped around as I always do, I could not find a better provider. Their communication about renewal has been timely and helpful. Fortunately, I have not needed to claim but I can recommend this company for price, policy details and efficiency of set up.

Having started my policy on line, Sam from Customer Services called me and helped me with the queries I had. He was really helpful and found me a good quote having had my old policy instantly cancelled by my previous insurers because I had not remembered to inform them about building work.

Well to my surprise 'Intelligent Insurance' didn't only match the quote they gave me last year for my house insurance, they actually beat it, so I definitely stayed with them - good for them.

If you want to speak to anyone on the phone, there’s no contact numbers. The online chat feature never seems to connect blaming cookie settings. Do yourself a favour and get your insurance elsewhere unless you want to spend an eternity working out how to contact this lot
