Leave Balance Incorrect After System Update

Jibble’s system is designed so that when leave policies are reassigned or removed, previous leave records for other types may no longer be visible, and only certain leave types (such as Annual Leave) might remain. This is expected system behavior, and missing history after such changes is normal in Jibble’s workflow. Previous leave records are not restored or visible under new or reassigned policies, and this cannot be retrieved or restored, even from the backend .

Additionally, leave entitlements are automatically calculated and assigned based on the configured time off policy and each employee’s start date. If the policy is set to auto-calculate entitlements, the system may override manual amendments by recalculating leave based on the policy settings and employee start date. Amendments only affect the current cycle, and when the cycle refreshes, balances revert to the original entitlements, so you may need to repeat adjustments in future cycles if needed .

There is no fail-safe mechanism or system setting in Jibble to ensure that leave policies, assignments, and manually adjusted balances will not be altered or hidden without explicit administrator action. This is a current limitation of the platform .

Thank you for your explanation.

However, this is highly unacceptable. Based on your response, it appears that I would need to continuously monitor the system to ensure that leave policies and balances do not revert or become overridden due to reassignment or auto-calculation. This is not a practical or reliable approach for payroll and leave administration.

Is there a fail-safe mechanism or system setting that can ensure leave policies, assignments, and manually adjusted balances will not be altered or hidden without explicit action from the administrator? If not, please clearly confirm this limitation.

Unannounced changes to leave visibility and balances will inevitably cause confusion and misunderstanding among our employees, which is not acceptable for a core HR function. I need a clear, permanent solution or workaround to prevent this issue from recurring.

Please advise accordingly.

I love it! A Lot !

I love it!

I decided to give it a shot to manage timesheets for a small group, just to help out. Turns out I can do a lot of stuff with the free version. This is great because it gives us time to get better with the software and make sure it really is made for us.

The Premium features are really helpful for full time and cost management.

The Time-Off records Wrong

The Time-Off records were not transferred to Jibble correctly.
Amendments have been sent and NO ACTION carried out until today.
My office colleagues are making noise complaining leave records why data transfer wrongly.

It's been great so far, but

It's been great so far, I wish that it was easier to get a hold of someone faster that isn't a robot. Customer service is lacking in our society now. I miss the days where you could actually speak with someone. Instead of wasting over 45 mins trying to get chat to get a hold of someone. Also there is a key feature that I would like to be added that I feel is missing compared to what we used with Homebase.

My Jibble app isn’t working

My Jibble app isn’t working. I’m stuck on break, and the break doesn’t end when I tap the yellow button. It just beeps and doesn’t take any action. After that, every tap only causes a beep. This issue started after the latest Jibble update. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, logging out, and other options, but it’s been almost a week and the app still isn’t working.

They said it was 100% free yet as you then use your email and phone number to sign up and create the account (which they will sell your info to 3rd parties) they hide all the features you want behind a paywall. Avoid if possible and do not give them your email and phone number unless you you want more than a stopwatch.

Can’t wait to cancel

I use about 5% of the software I’m being overcharged for it and I can’t wait to cancel it.
Customer support with zero help complete bait and switch on the fees and what I’m being charged absolute bullshit will never recommend!
