Lovely selection of fabrics and thread and everything else too. Dispatch isn’t the quickest which is totally understandable as fabrics are cut to size for each order. The site is easy to navigate, my one complaint is that browsing the fabrics is too addictive and I don’t have enough money for them all! 🤣

Never had a bad experience with lakeside.customer service goes beyond to help and resolve any queries.orders arrive promptly if in stock, very rare for anything to be out of stock and well packaged. Very reliable.

Great range of items at fantastic prices. Their customer care is brilliant. One of my items was out of stock. When I contacted them Kate immediately responded and arranged for a different kit of my choice to be added to my order, I was offered a full refund which I declined. Great communication regarding delivery. Items arrived super quickly. This is my second order from Lakeside Needlecraft and I shall happily order from them again.

Terrible communication, didn’t receive order
Ordered sewing bag for Christmas for my daughter. Didn’t arrive. Emailed to find out what was going on and was told the supplier didn’t have it in stock. Really poor service and won’t be using them again.

I am so sorry for the mix up. We did email you a week before Christmas and offered for you to choose a different option. The email must have gone into your spam folder. We did deal with your refund immediately once you requested to cancel.

Excellent service when original order out of stock
I contacted Kate for an update on my order to be told it was out of stock. Not only did she ask if a replacement would be suitable, but she then went above and beyond to have the replacement dispatched promptly so it still arrived in time. The kit looks of very good quality and I'm sure my niece will be delighted.

Despite being busy with Black Friday and Christmas orders, Kate took the time to discuss my very modest order and sort it out to my specific needs. Haven’t received my order, even after notifying them two times about this issue.
First, I was dismissed, second time haven’t even got any answer.
Answer to your response: Thank you for forwarding me the first email. I sent you another one 1st of October. Will forward you that one, maybe it ended up in your spam folder

We sent a reply to your email on 12th September and so I will forward it to you again. It may have gone into your spam folder. You did not select the Tracked option so we are unable to trace where your order is. It will be with customs and so we recommend that you contact them to see if your order is with them. If not please get back to us
Would not recommend this company
My order was dispatched on the 18th of September Royal mail had on the 20th for delivery on the 20th still not received anything, after two emails I got a reply from Lakeside Needlecraft they said it's not gone past the delivery time and it would take a further 10 days after the delivery time before they can claim for Royal mail and reissue the product great customer service I don't think so, I think the proper name is customer non-service They have even had the cheek to send me two separate emails to rate the product and I did pay for first class post with Royal mail tracking that's how I know where the parcel was

We sent the order within our dispatch time frame. We do not control the speed to Royal Mail deliveries. Royal Mail do not consider an item lost until 10 days after it was sent. You did not choose the tracked and insured option and so we are unable to resend the order until the 10 days have elapsed. This is because quite often the orders are delivered within the time and so we do not want our customers to have the hassle of returning a duplicated order. The rate the product emails are automated and so they are sent to all customers after the given time of delivery

I was told my order (4 needles) would be dispatched the next day( Wednesday) they were not dispatched untill Friday
So had to pay ?£3:50 for delivery a week after ordering NOT HAPPY

We usually send within 2-5 working days and mostly within 2 days. We pick and send all orders in the order they come in to us regardless of the order size. We are a small family company
The £3.50 postage is for Royal Mail Tracked postage and packing. We do not make a profit from postage. We use this service as it is insured and tracked. We used to use a cheaper service but too many orders were being lost and we could not claim for them.
You ordered on 16th September at 4.19pm and so missed the postage for that day. Your order was sent on 19th September. This was the 2nd working day after ordering. We do state these order timings on our website.
I am sorry that you are disappointed but we sent your order according to our dispatch times and using a Tracked service.
