London Transport Museum Shop Avis 

Product arrived late.
Poorly packaged.
Packaging arrived damaged.
Some of the order never arrived at all.

I have emailed the London Transport Museum Shop. I only receive automatic replies, yet and I am bombarded with marketing emails, which I have now unsubscribed from.

Nice products but I wish they’d stop crediting Michelle Mason with 'creating' Marion Dorn’s iconic 1930s leaf design.

I ordered a frame pictured which arrived broken but didn't open the package when the UPS person dropped it at the reception.
I would have expect to fight with TFL around if it was their fault or the frame people (different company) or UPS or even me but to my great surprised the Customer Service was apologetic, made the process extremely easy for me which was a relief.
I would highly recommend them

Amazing customer care from Andy. Had an issue with something my son bought whilst visiting the Convent Garden museum. It developed a fault and stopped working. Living in Cheshire it wasn't feasible to travel back to the museum shop. I contacted the online shop & Andy sorted everything out for me. It was a real pleasure to recieve such a high standard of customer care. I now have a very happy son again who has a working roundel light again. Thank you!

I have bought 5 posters from them including The Lure of the Underground, It is Cooler Down Below, It is Warmer Down Below, 1941 Tube Map, and the 1933 Tube map. They are of great quality although I think the 1941 map could have been of the same design as the 1933 poster. I found the delivery to be a little slower than the provided estimates, but I do not hold that against them and I intend to use the shop website again very soon.

Recently purchased several items (luggage racks to be exact). I live in Switzerland so it was great to have international shipping. The racks are great perfect for my needs. I had one issue with the delivery and 2 of the items never arrived between the UK and Swiss postal services. I contacted the e-commerce support team and they have been fantastic during this entire process of us both trying to locate these 2 items. However, after much effort no reward! However, the museum e-commerce team have offered to refund the money, none-the-less. They didn't need to but what a fantastic service, way, way past expectations. I will continue to use them, perhaps with a UK delivery and I'll collect moving forward!

I absolutely love the London Transport Museum and everything in it especially as I’m a London Bus Driver who’s Mad about buses. I’m so happy at the quality of the Routemaster Hinged Cubes and Otto Blanket Chest and at the high level of great customer service all throughout the process from purchase to delivery dates that I’ve even more items on the way to go with the rest of my Routemaster Moquette hoard. The staff have always gone above and beyond their call of duty to see that I felt valued and have been keeping me up to date with information about what stage my tailor made items were at and answered all queries in a timely fashion. Thank you ever so much for being you and all that you do. I’m a very satisfied customer and will definitely be recommending you to family and friends and will pop in for another visit to the museum soon.

All the books and gifts from the London Transport museum shop are beautiful there official books are so detailed to ordering from there websites is very easy all my orders arrived very quickly and very well packaged nothing is to much of a problem if you ask questions about your orders or other books or gifts your interested in that staff are very helpful indeed

Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness never shopped at the London Transport Museum Shop. My Sloane Square tiles, and Hidden London mugs and tea towels and book and totebag, and my Euston Way Out cartouche poster have made the pandemic bearable. I might not have been able to visit the Museum in person, but I brought bits and pieces into my own home. And just the kindest, most helpful staff ever.

I've ordered from this company numerous times over the past 10-15 years and never have I had any problems. Items are always dispatched quickly and I've never had the wrong item sent or received any damaged items. Several months ago I was looking for a specific item that, by then, was discontinued. However they searched their store and must have found the last one and phoned me to let me know. Fantastic customer service!

Received a box of socks and posters from London Transport Museum for my birthday - very happy with my gifts! Very good quality and excellent presentation.

Highly recommend the socks for anyone who is looking for a unique gift.

I ordered two brilliantly priced posters to go to some friends out in the US. The first set of orders went missing and were returned to the UK. I emailed the museum who dealt with the issue swiftly- offering me a full refund or a second attempt. I went for the latter and both posters have now been delivered to very grateful recipients. I was pleased with how quickly my issue was dealt with and to be offered two options for resolving. Will deffo buy from here again.

I ordered a railway poster pack of cards for my son and a lovely railway print for my hallway. Arrived really quickly, within a couple of days. The print was well packaged so it was in lovely condition as it arrived. Would order from the business again. Some lovely, different gifts on offer.

I am in Canada and recently ordered a small Underground lightbox from the LTM shop. After a long wait I sent off a query to see if it had been delayed because of Covid, the postal system etc. I received a very timely response, letting me know that the delivery had been returned, unfortunately with no explanation as to why. This is also unfortunately quite common where I live (in an apartment block with a security system and a variety of couriers all attempting to make deliveries). I was offered the choice of a full refund or the opportunity to try again. I asked a few more questions concerning the delivery method at my end, but unfortunately we weren't able to get the answers I needed, so I opted instead to have the delivery sent to a friend in the UK and he volunteered to send it on to Canada via the postal system all the way - and I know Canada Post can deliver to my building without any problems. I was super-impressed with the speed at which my correspondence was dealt with, and also the investigations they carried out at their end, the options I was given and also the speed with which my package was dispatched to my UK friend.

Bought several items including their moquette socks. Wore socks for one day and ended up with large hole in the toe area. Reported twice to them by email and no response. Very poor after sales service.

The order was delayed but the shop and manufacturer responded quickly to my enquiries with transparency and kindness. The chair and footstool arrived well packaged and the craftsmanship is high-quality. It was well worth the delay.

Excellent service from their online sales department. Safely shipped overseas to the USA, I was very happy with all of the products which included the two books by Geoff Marshall and Vicky Pipe, two mugs and the lighted roundal. A slight delay in delivery (down to the US Postal Service) was professionally handled by the LTM team. Will be happy to order again.

I ordered a recommissioned luggage rack in early January which arrived super quickly, and was just what I expected! From ordering on the website to receiving it was very easy and straightforward. Would use the site again. Some additional information about how to fix it to the wall would have been very helpful too.

I recently bought three packs of moquette-style socks and a Scrabble set. The deliveries came promptly and I'm very happy with the quality of the products and the all-round service. I'll be shopping from their online store again.

Awful service - will not use again. Ordered the vintage sock box and they sent the modern pattern ones instead (the invoice states vintage). Order number 2000087316 These were a gift so very disappointing. No phone number to call. I have emailed them 3 times now and NO response apart from the automated one stating they will contact me in 3-5 days. This was on 10th Jan - its now the 18th and no response. Absolutely awful service with no contact or attention to detail from whoever is packing the order. No point responding to this asking me to email you as you tend to do - as I have tried this 3 times now.
