London Transport Museum Shop Avis 

I ordered three framed posters from the LTM online store. The prints arrived on time and were framed perfectly. They look great in my apartment. Thank you LTM!

Unfortunately enough, I have to echo the many negative reviews. I have been a long time supporter of the Transport Museum store (despite experiencing occasional problems), and have been left incredibly disappointed with my most recent order.

An order made three weeks ago has been returned twice to the warehouse by the shipping provider, because the required invoice was not included.

I have spent hours being in touch with the shipping provider (who offered to email a blank invoice to LTM to be filled, which LTM did not respond to), emailing and sending messages via Twitter to the Transport Museum (all Twitter posts have been ignored, and emails are rarely responded to) in an attempt for this to be resolved.

There have been multiple opportunities for them to rectify the situation by providing the invoice to the shippping provider, but each time they have either not responded in a timely manner (resulting in it being returned), or not followed through.

At this point, I am left at a complete loss as to what to do.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT order from their online shop. They should hang their head in shame. My partner’s son is going to be gutted at Christmas

I ordered a £50 train set on line for my grandson.
What I received was a £15 Elizabeth line train.

No phone number to call.

An e-mail to customer services received a note that i could expect a reply in 3 -5 days.

All very frustrating

But the reply was within 24 hours and a replacement was dispatched

So a decent recovery from the initial mistake.

I read the existing Trustpilot reviews after I had shopped. Had I read them before, I would probably not have placed an order

DO NOT order from the online shop.
I ordered half a month ago and it didn't reach me, it was returned to sender despite me giving them the correct address. Nobody in charge is to be reached on the phone during office hours, it's a farce overall.

Do not use their online shop - the items are extremely poor quality. I bought 3 poster prints from there at £25 a print....the quality is terrible. I would have been better off taking a screen-shot of the website and printing at home. They only offer an 80% refund as it is 'made to order'. Outrageous. If it's made to order, how can the quality be so low? AVOID.

The London Transport museum is an essential place to visit if you’re going to Covent Garden. It features so much history about transport and is great for families as it provides lots of interactive features. There are realistic Underground train simulators (always popular with the kids). There are also buses and taxis that you can go inside and hop in the drivers seat to play with the controls. The shop is large and contains lots of London souvenirs and transport souvenirs along with maps, board games and posters. It is a little overpriced but museum entry costs pretty much nothing so that compensates for the shop prices. The cafe provides good food. It is a perfect place to take the family for an exciting day out in London.

Do NOT order from their shop. They have sent me a damaged item in badly damaged packaging that's someone has tried to cover up by wrapping it a plastic bag - so far so bad. Since then I have gone onto their recommended Messenger service ("typically replies in 48 hours") and sent five messages - no answer. I have send four emails to their general 'shop' address - no reply. then I went onto the website and 'cut and pasted' their specific address for decommissioned furniture (which I am trying to get a refund on). their server has so far rejected that email SIX times. and they don't answer the phone either. BEWARE

If your out with young children then think again before going to this museum. The staff are awful, they let my 3 year old soil himself, as they demanded that my Son and Father in law wait in the queue and pay before using a toilet. Even after one of the staff tacking pity and whispering to my father in law about another toilet they could use, a very aggressive security guard blocked their path.
An OPA and a toddler that were at the front of the queue… it begs belief.
