Machineseeker.com Avis

Have been browsing so far, and have been receiving relevant emails about machines in question, had 1 inquiry, ad received a positive response. Not purhcased yet, but time will tell. So far positive experience.

Read the agreement first and carefully before you do anything to avoid being tied in a high monthly payments.
Site sure have lots of visitors and items for sale but from my experience thats not a guarantee for sales or not even a few contacts.
Costly, my first and last try.

This company is a Fraud. We were contacted by someone from Nigeria and from India, asking for a call letter. I tried to contact the company, asking them to provide proof that we had taken out a 1-year subscription. They never did. Not recommended company. Very, very unserious.

Good at getting back to you

Fast, efficient & professional service.
Great company to deal with.

The sellers are not very helpful and sometimes just ignore enquiries

Being lured into a subscription of 170 euros with no warnings.
Thereafter several warnings of lawsuits etc.

Do not use the Machineseeker.com website, we used it to advertise the sale of a large format printer, was contacted by a company saying they were interested in buying this Machine. Lots of emails promising payment, the cheque was fraudulent and could not be cashed. Sorry we didn't check the reviews before we started to deal with them

Hello, what happened with your lawsuit? And I have the same case as many people have written, namely, I was 3 days late in downloading the advertised machines and their lawyers wrote to me. It is not justified to pay them more money without notifying me about it and with 25% ... how did you deal with the problem? Is there anyone who has been convicted or is currently being sued with machineseeker? E-mail Can someone write where they get to - are there any convicts ?
This is incorrect company

They are scammers for salers! They spam you to pay the subscription and after you pay they block your account for no reason and you subscription consumes and you cant do anything about that because you are blocked

upon a complaint from any random person, demand from the seller any documents confirming ownership rights on some basis??? what form should they be in??? you send notifications about incorrectly compiled advertisements and then 5 minutes later the entire account is blocked??? like for what??? how should I be able to see or change them??? very unprofessional behavior. only likes to take money!

They should be closed down. They took money from paypal by setting up a recurring payment which I did not agree to. I emailed to cancel my subscription and spoke to them on the phone and they said it would be cancelled. I had paid for the first 3 months to advertise on the site and they have now taken a further 3 months subscription plus a £15 direct debit rejection charge added to it, even though I was told it would be cancelled. How can there be a direct debit rejection charge when Ive paid by paypal which isnt paid by direct debit! and they have now managed to take 222 euros again without my permission! Avoid these people at all costs. They are scamming people out of money and I will be taking it further.

Absolute scam artists. Paid a one off 177 EUR subscription to list an item and 10 days later our account is still suspended and we are unable to list the machine. Have contacted them 7 times now email, phone and online form without success. Have also called in excess of 30 times without answer using every available option on their options list but nothing changes. They have only ever contacted us once and it was nothing to do with the suspended account, just asking us to provide proof of ownership of a machine that we hadn't even been able to list yet. I still supplied this even though it goes against the auspices of GDPR in a hope this would mean we could list the machine. I have asked for a refund but been ghosted so we have had to ask our bank to instead conduct a charge back to get the money returned. I am now also in the process of reporting their fraudulent activities to Google to get their listings removed, and also informing the ICO and the BfDI for their GDPR breaches. Absolute Scam. Avoid at ALL costs

My dad started receiving emails and letters in the door of saying he owes them money for a 12 month subscription when he didn’t even signup to it. They keep saying he is being brought to court and my dad doesn’t even deal with machinery. After noticing everyone else’s comments and reviews I’m considering it is a scam and would be keen to just leave it to see what legal action would be taken. I was wondering if anyone has just left it and seen if the legal action was actually taken or are they just scare mongering the older generation?

Last year we went to their website and in their conditions they had a clause that after 7 days you could cancel, which when we tried to do so they denied and they want to take us to court, they are scammers. Be careful with them

As a machinery manufacturer and seller we were approached many times by standard post mails with scam offers and longterm contracts written in small letters. But I did not realize this web marketplace was a fraud too. A year ago we added an ad of old CNC cutting machine onto their site and we received some inquiries over the 8 months period but sold it locally.

I stopped the ad on their marketplace and thought that was the end of it. After my accountant requested to get the last three monthly invoices from Machineseeker, as they kept charging, I was shocked. Also, they increased the charge from 180 to 230 EUR.

I blocked the card at the bank, so they could not charge it anymore, obviously the option to remove the payment card on their website is not working. As there is no agreement between my company and Mahcineseeker. Further, no plan is shown to get some understanding which position you are in.

I am communicating with them through emails, as through phone there is no help as well. On the last email, they gave me a date when I can cancel my subsripction, which is July, 2025 :D

I guess my 600 EUR is down the drain now, as filing them to court would cost way more.

Machineseeker is a scam. You are going to get minimum ONE year subscription and the timewindow for closing the "contract" is just couple of days before the new year starts. When you ask for the copy of contract, they will just generate/fabricate it based on last account details. The police need to get involved.

I have never had to pay to receive their list of machines for sale but for the first time I contacted a seller and got a response with the price. We made an agreement for me to put down a sizeable deposit 7500 Euro but since I transferred the deposit , the vendor in Romania, does not respond to my emails. There is no guarantee that the machines for sale even exist. I have written to machineseeker and they do not respond. The vendow had a tag " Triusted Seller" but what does that mean??

I believe that this is a scam of major proportions. i have received an invoice for a years subscription after agreeing to the cookies purely to see what's available on the site. i have asked for a copy of the agreement whereas i authorized any form of association with Machineseeker. maybe the police need to get involved as i believe there is a scam taking place

Hi,
Just to add my opinion among the others.
The guys are flirting at the edge of the cheating.
For me, clearly cheating.
Avoid them any case.
If you want to try and join the club, DONT PAY via PAYPAL. They will activate "Auto renewall" and charge you.
