If I could give them negative stars I…

If I could give them negative stars I would. The worst health care provider I have ever had. I am so glad I can change my health care provider next month so in two months I will not to have to deal with them. They promise you so many things that they will not deliver. I am so frustrated with their customer service.

Worst healthcare company ever

Worst healthcare company ever. I was assigned to them on 7/1/24 in New Mexico after Western Sky was dissolved. In 5 days I was denied coverage on 2 legitimate prescriptions that would have cost them about $35 total. I suppose they expected me to pay for them (it's Medicaid so I shouldn't have to). Suffice to say I was more than a little pissed about that. I didn't pay for them, I went to the ER twice to get the situation taken care of as a way to stick it to them. It cost them several thousand dollars instead of just $35. They are an absolute "bovine feces"company... Stay away from them!!!!
Update: tried to find a provider for the vision benefit... Was told that the glasses benefit was only available for patients who have had cataract surgery!!! Essentially there's no glasses benefits for regular Medicaid patients. Checked the benefits handbook and the website, both clearly state I'm eligible for an exam and a pair of glasses. Simply put Molina is practicing FALSE ADVERTISING (illegal)
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, TOTALLY USELESS!!!!!!!!

Useless

I lost coverage last week & reapplied through my states welfare website.Called molina when I got my new medical card issued (by molina) to see if it meant I was approved & reinsured.Molina rep had no idea why I was sent a new card as she said my eligibility was still pending. She told me to check on the molina app for updates about my pending insurance application but I am locked out of it after three failed attempts to reset my password & access the very information I & my one year old son desperately need. What a f******* joke of a healthcare organization. The only way i can see if i was approved is to visit my states welfare website to check on my application status or wait for a piece of snail mail to see if i can get insurance again.Like wow, what if I had a severe medical issue, guess it's just time for me to lay down & die since I already know my useless state services will take their sweet time with this.App is a joke that denies verification codes they send even though you type them in right,& go through every step accurately.Worthless,fustrating,garbage.

Payed without actually getting a health insurance

This is about a situation that happened to my family back in 2017, I just hope to reach as many as possible and warn you to stay away from Molina Healthcare. Actually, Molina was charging us for a health care plan without providing us with a health care insurance. Of course I have called Molina, sent e-mails and also letters, but Molina seems to have no interested at all to come to a settlement.

Here is what happened (might seem to long text, but I hope everybody reads it cause this is important):

On the 3:rd of June, we moved from Jacksonville to Daytona Beach. I did notify Molina about the address change, and I personally didn’t think mush about it since the both places are in Florida, just 1.5 hours distance with car. Now, I learned that I should also have edited my application at the Marketplace (I learned that the hard way, more about that later), but I know for sure that Molina got my new address, since the bills from you were addressed my new address.

Sometime in the middle of August, my wife had a condition where she was in need of medical attention, so she called you to get the information about which hospital to go to. You gave her a long list of hospitals, but actually when calling these hospital, all of them said that the did not accept Molina Healthcare insurance! And on top of this, she asked if she could get an appointment, and pay the full amount for the visit herself, but the answer was that if we had an insurance, they would not accept us even if we payed.

On September 25, I sent an e-mail to Molina explaining the situation that my wife needed to see a specialist. Then on October 6, I got an e-mail back where Molina said they were going to contact us.

On October 23, finally we received a call from Molina (claiming that someone from Molina had tried to call us several times before. This sounds strange, cause neither me or my wife had any missed calls from you, and no voice message…). However, I now was told that I needed to change address at the marketplace. Then a few minutes later, the same person from Molina calls me back telling me that Molina Healthcare did not had any service for the zip code we are currently living in. So in other words, the last 6 months we have been paying for a health insurance, but in reality we had no health insurance…!

So what had happened here obviously Molina made two major mistakes:
-They gave us contact information to hospitals that do not accept Molina Healthcare insurance.
-They send a bill to an address with a zip-code where you have no service.

It really looks to me like Molina Healthcare is a scam company. They accepted my payments even thought I notified them about my new address, so it looks like they were hoping that I was never gonna use the insurance, and stay as a customer at Molina Healthcare for the rest of the year, even though my health insurance was not possible to use.

Worst healthcare company ever

Worst healthcare company ever. When I call to ask for help to see my primary care Dr. who Molina says is in network, Molina says they will call Dr. and straighten things out. But then Molina never calls the Dr. and never calls me back. Molina has repeatedly lied to me. And I mean directly lied. Molina sends me a list of providors. I call them. Guess what I find out? They are either not taking new patients, don't provide the specialty they are listed under, don't exist at all, don't take Molina. Don't use them. Their good OTC benefits arn't worth it. You'll be sorry.

Molina bribes its female customers

(please note reviewer gets healthcare insurance for free from the government)

Recently I've received a mailing from Molina healthcare and they state that you could receive up to 200 per year in gift card rewards by taking care of your health.

But when you get to the website guess what it's for females only except for one test that's it mostly it's children, preteen and women with cancer tests breast exams cervical exams.

The one single test that males could go with is the diabetes test but that's it. The reason why they're doing this bribery? Simple those tests cost money, big money to the government HOO-HAH! they make a bundle off you.

I would leave zero stars if I could

I would leave zero stars if I could. This is the worst insurance company EVER! I do not use them, I am a medical biller and cringe every time I see Molina. I know it's going to be a fight, I know they play dirty and skirt the law and I know and can prove they break legal and binding contracts. You would be better off being UN-insured and using cash than using this mess. They are shady!!!!

Get the Best Medical Insurance

Molina has taken care of me from the moment I signed on with them. Whenever I have problems with a provider in billing, Molina keeps me on the phone and talks to the billing department to make sure they understand what needs to be done. They also have a rewards program as an incentive to make sure the member takes care of their medical needs. They are top notch and their agents are very personable and professional. If you ever get the chance, sign up with Molina Insurance, you will be glad you did.

Avoid Molina like the black plague

I keep asking myself daily if this is a fake company? I signed up for Molina June 13th and paid my premium June 13th...they wanted proof of a life changing event, okay I provided it about July 1st...but its July 12th still I am not able to register online, no member cards yet, and today they said it will take 1-2 weeks to figure out why I can't register...I have called 10 times and its very frustrating...avoid this company like the black plague...it is becoming a nightmare for me...my wife needed medical treatment 2 weeks ago I was waiting until July 1st but they finally said there is a member ID today...the same member ID they gave me a week ago but a week ago they said my member ID belonged to someone else. This has to be one of the most messed up healthcare companies ever in the history of the universe. Avoid Molina like the black plague. When you call in it's like entering into a black hole and they can't find you in their system, ask you 5 verification questions and they transfer you around to other groups, sometimes wrong groups...they can't keep track if your medicaid, medicare or marketplace at all no clue. Once again I ask myself is this a fake company they will send you spinning around in circles.

Molina Sucks

My husband has Molina through Healthcare.gov. He had it for one year. Then in Feb 2021 he had an increase in pay. All hell broke loose and it took me an entire month and 4 hangups, 5 different quotes and many hours on hold. And THEN and ONLY THEN did they tell me my payment was late....for something they had never billed me for....and never could have because the income didn't change until February and they included January. and THEN as icing on the cake they tried to blame me for when I went to Healthcare.gov to change the info (which is what you're supposed to do by law to get your credit) I didn't get any information on what the premium was going to be FROM THEM (speaking about Healthcare.gov). I ask you...how on God's green earth know what YOUR premium is supposed to be in A MONTH from now? Also I'm supposed to magically know I'm "behind" even though they literally NEVER billed me for that amount.
