They could sell the products they advertise I paid 3 times as much for Arran Pilot seed potatoes because they were scarce this year and then found out they sent a different variety when they were growing they had white flowers when after growing them fo 50 years I know they are Purple when I harvested them they are definitely a different variety I feel conned.

I bought two compresed enriched seed compost, but produced very inferior seedlings . I did complain but got not very helpful response . And before you ask they were your seeds as well. That’s the reason for one star and that’s only because you can’t give any less. So why say that now when you just brushed me aside
When I contacted you about the enriched seed come. I don’t understand why you’re saying that now . You didn’t want to know at the time .

The three items ordered arrived in good time in a nice sturdy box and appeared not to have suffered from their journey. I immediately potted them on into much larger pots and they have settled in nicely. The reason for this is I need to remove one of my old fruit bushes that has become less productive and of course this is a busy time in the garden/allotment so having them in larger pots in a shady corner of my fruit cage allows me to easily control watering and feeding in this Sahara like weather we are suffering at the moment prior to preparing and planting them in their final positions. They are sturdy healthy looking plants and I look forward to enjoying the fruits that they will hopefully provide.Thanks in anticipation. E.Hemsley.

I paid for a top line product but received the basic line. I have contacted the company's via 3 different methods and have had no response, let alone a refund. Do no not purchase any products direct from the website

Good condition of plants when they arrived

I ordered 2 dwarf Gaura they arrived well packed but the plants were a bit squashed. I potted them on and now I’ve planted them in the garden they are fine.

A delivery of swede plants that had suffered a little in transit, leaves very yellow. I potted them up and watered well and they are now ready to plant in the allotment, (when the weather is a bit cooler)!

Ordered seeds and a couple of plants, overall good experience. Seeds have been successful. Would definitely order again.

I ordered jalapeno and cucumber plants in February.I was given several dates for delivery of the jalapeno plants in June,when you then informed me you could not supply them after all.I cancelled the cucumbers and a refund was made for both items.
I contacted another supplier who delivered in days.Very disappointed with Fothergills.

Sadly the whole experience was not good. The plants arrived damaged and dry, poorly packed, and when I phoned customer services I was met with indifference, no word of apology
I wouldn’t recommend them, nor will I use them again.
