P4D Avis 

Crooks and Liars. In December their appointed haulier dropped our pallet. Rewrapped it to conceal the damage and then delifered it to our customer with no information around the £2500 loss and damage they caused. 6 months later after sending more than 20 emails - their employee Ryan Belshaw who is apparently handling the matter has done nothing, is now ignoring all emails and we wiill be forced to spend money raising legal action against them to recover our losses. We operate as a non profit company and this loss of goods has been devastating to us. Avoid them at all costs!

As you can see below I am now being asked to repeat the process of wasting 6 months of my time trying to get them to admit their haulier destroyed £2500 goods. They could dig out the information and provide a realistic response but no. Unless of course they have hundreds of record labels with damage claims against them.

I paid for P4D to send my pallet to Wales,
Booked a date and paid for the service only to be told that, all their dates are estimates and there are no guarantees.
The worst thing is that, they didn’t even have the decency to call me until I started chasing and also to be told if I cancel,I will get my money in 10days.
I’m am still waiting for my parcel to be be picked up after wasting days at home waiting for my parcel to be picked up
Please avoid this company so don’t have to go through the frustration o an going through now.

Been using P4D for a few months now and really pleased we made the move, as are our customers!
P4D run a great pallet service, from moment of confirmation to delivery you can always get an update with tracking details.

Never sent anything by pallet before, so it was great to deal with a company who explain everything and guide you through the process.
We live in rural Cornwall but they were able to make sure that the driver was aware of the postcode anomalies and the general access issues.

Was originally a bit worried to ship with these guys after seeing the reviews but this was an urgent shipment. The price was very fair and delivery and collection were made perfectly on time, as well as their drivers being very polite. My first time using P4D and it couldn’t of gone smoother! The booking process was easy (I shipped within the uk) and it turned up exactly when we had planned. I was kept in the loop and they make it very easy for you to contact if you have any questions and the response was faster than I expected and they had great customer service. No waiting around all day unlike other company’s I have used in the past. would definitely use again and recommend to anyone in need of the service.

First time shipping a pallet as I had to make a return. The team were very helpful and the website was quite easy to use. Will definitely be using you guys again should I have another return.

We were recommended (by a tile company!) to use P4D to deliver a large pallet of fully packed tiles from our home back to the tile shop. P4D arranged this (it's worth noting that they don't actually do the delivery, they employ another courier to do so).

Unfortunately, when the tiles were picked up by courier the pallet fell off the back of the lorry, shattering all the tiles. We had over £1000 of broken tiles all over the road and pavement.

I had checked the P4D insurance before booking and thought everything was fine. Their website states (I quote: "What’s more, we provide insurance of up to £10,000 on all goods transported with our pallet delivery partners, giving you further peace of mind as they travel. If, in the unlikely scenario, your goods are damaged during transit, we’ll work closely with you to ensure you’re not left out of pocket"). There was nothing there about restrictions to what would be covered, and given that we were transporting a properly packed pallet, and our tile company had recommended P4D, we thought everything was covered.

But no! When I raised the claim with P4D they responded with the briefest of emails, stating that "After close investigation, I'm afraid that we are unable to raise a claim for these goods. As per our terms and conditions prohibited items list, porcelain is not covered for damage."

I closely inspected their insurance details after this (it's worth noting that the detailed list of restricted and prohibited items is not easily accessed on their website) and actually the list mentions nothing about porcelain, or tiles. Still, they have refused to budge on this claim.

I have had countless emails and phone calls with the courier company that P4D used (who can't do anything unless P4D themselves raise the claim), as well as now having to take legal advice. It has been a huge headache and we are now over £1000 down.

My advice is that probably P4D seem fine if the delivery all goes well, but if your items are damaged you are likely to find yourselves in trouble. I've already advised the tile company we use NEVER to recommend them again and would highly recommend others to AVOID!!! They have a very vague insurance policy that they hide behind, not caring about the impact that this has on customers. We are a family, not a business. £1000 may not matter to P4D, but to us it makes a real difference.

Edited to add that the response below from P4D is completely useless as Ryan is the person I have been emailing ever since the incident last year and clearly he is unable to resolve anything. We’ve now got Insurance Litigation experts involved to attempt recovery. Unbelievable that it has to come to this and disgusting that P4D care so little for their customers.

When I called I was offered a great service sending pallets to France at at great price, they took my money then..... nothing, days of chasing, plenty of false promises and still nothing. After 10 days of frustration I cancelled and got a different shipping company to do the job. However P4D didn't refund my payment for two months following endless emails and calls.
They are polite and promise great things but fail to deliver, don't use them or trust them!

Do not believe what is advertised on their website re European deliveries. The process takes at least 2 days before pick up and then they are likely not to pick up when they say, delaying transit times even further. Once they have picked up do not expect them to be able to track your shipment as their system cannot do this, leaving you and your client guessing as to when and if the goods will be delivered but certainly not on the day they quote for.

In response to the reply from P4D it seems typical of this company to be disingenuous. They did not ask for the paperwork until the next day AND they fail to mention that the goods are still awaiting delivery in Germany 2 weeks later (having paid for a 4 day service!!) They did not leave the UK for almost a week. They simply mis-sell services that they don't have.

Told to email the email address provided by yourselves and shock it wont deliver the email to you!!
What do i do now as there is no other way of contacting you and no one has contacted me still.
