Just started my third personalised painting while recovering from an operation and it’s great non-taxing entertainment. Care needed choosing a suitable image as there can be some tricky little bits to paint if the image is too detailed. A magnifying glass can be useful! Very quick delivery and hours of fun.

The best pbn I've ever used
The best pbn I've ever used. The quality of the framed canvas, the print quality is excellent and the paint gives great coverage without the need to apply numerous coats. Also, excellent customer service and fast delivery. I'll definitely buy again.

This will be hours of fun
I always send a photo and get a custom kit. Previously, the faces have been close ups which works really well. This one isn’t, and my friend has the eyes of a Mister Man. I doubt he’ll mind, though, as it’s Mr Happy. Some of the numbers are really hard to read but perhaps it’s my eyes.

Have had several of the paintings from photos now and they are brilliant.

Hi Toni,
Thank you for your review, we’re glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the paintings and that they’ve made great presents!
We’re sorry about the mix-up with the paint, but your replacement pot is being sent out today, so it should be with you in no time and you’ll be able to finish your painting soon.

Improved presentation but disappointing brushes.
This is my 11th Painting by Numbers project so I am familiar with the product. I have to say the presentation of the purchase has much improved, with rolled canvass (as opposed to folded) and smartly boxed.
I took the option this time of purchasing superior brushes, which was, unfortunately, a waste of money. The brushes were packed loose in a box where the smallest one had lost its plastic sheath. As a result the bristles were bent and the brush unusable. I have reverted to an old, cheap brush from a previous purchase.
In my opinion the extra cost of brushes is not value for money.

Lines and numbers are too dark to be covered by the paint supplied. Some of the paints are very watery and thin. I've done 3 layers of paint and on some parts you can still see the numbers through the paint.
Emailed them about it, they replied asking for photos which I sent and haven't heard a peep from them since.
Bad quality product with not very good customer service.

Fabulous!!
Fabulous company, fast delivery, easy to order extra paints and fantastic customer service. Products are really good quality and reasonably priced in comparison with some other companies offering similar products but are substandard quality and service.

Simply the best PBN kits!
I've now had 5 kits from this company.
Delivery is always speedy and items well packaged.
Canvas quality is good with clear lines and numbers.
I especially LOVE the digital reference guide which is a huge improvement over any paper guide - you can ZOOM!
Currently doing the Life on the Narrowboat and loving it.
I just want more new detailed/advanced designs please!
I've tried various other companies and in my opinion these kits are superior in every way.

Super disappointed by the quality
Super disappointed by the quality of the customized paintings.
I took two pictures of mine, to transform them as canvas. The first one was more looking like cartoon design than a realistic one, and the second one the final result was not even matching the picture on the package or on the little pic they gave to have an idea of what the final painting should look like.
The colours of the beach was a panel of turquoise on the pic but with the colors they sent me it's more like dark baby blue shades.
And you don't have a paper sketch of the paniting with the numbers if you made a mistake or if you want to add again some colour to the painting.
The first pic was a wedding gift, I'm very disappointed.

Numbers still visible...
Package arrived in one piece, protected in bubble wrap.
Opted for the stretched canvas on a frame, very taught & a good size.
Paints arrived in cute but, stubborn to open little pots. Some of the lighter colour paints such as green, seem very fluid & do not cover the numbers even after 3 coats. I found this rather frustrating as the numbers are still very visible. Personally, I think the numbers & lines should be lighter to ensure they can be covered completely with paint.
Overall, a nice relaxing task & quite pleased with the outcome as it's my first time with a paint by numbers kit.

Hi Kirsty,
Thanks for providing us with such a detailed review, we really appreciate the feedback, especially as a first-time paint-by-numbers customer! However, we don't provide our kits with bubble wrap so there may be some confusion with the company that you used?
We’re pleased to hear that your kit arrived safely and that you were happy with the stretched canvas and overall size. It’s great to know the experience was relaxing and that you were happy with the outcome.
We’re sorry to hear that some of the lighter colours didn’t fully cover the numbers, this can occasionally happen with more translucent shades. Our pre-printed canvases use darker lines and numbers for a balance of detail and visibility, but we understand your point about them being a bit too visible beneath lighter colours.
In the meantime, a helpful tip: for lighter sections, applying a white base coat, dabbing another layer directly on the number, or even partially removing the number prior to painting can make a big difference. We've got a quick video tutorial on coverage techniques on our Instagram if you’d find that useful!
As for the little pots, we know they can be a bit stubborn, but they’re designed that way to stay airtight and prevent the paints from drying out between sessions.
Thank you again for giving us a try, and we really hope this is the start of many more enjoyable painting projects! If you ever need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Hi,
Thank you for your comments, it’s great to hear you were happy with the print quality. We have refined it to ensure every design is crisp and well-defined.
Regarding the acrylic paints, we completely understand that some customers may prefer to work with paints they're familiar with, but swapping them out could affect the final look of the piece. We aim to constantly review and improve our materials, so we always appreciate honest feedback. That said, we’re glad you still found the paints helpful for colour matching, and if any pots need replacing please feel free to reach out.
Happy painting and thank you for supporting us!
