Awful experience
Awful experience! This is basically drop shipping with terrible customer service. After a month and no product, lots of emails and time on phone I back charged this in the end with my bank as that was all I had left.

Dear Matthew,
We accept that the information for this new product was not clear enough and apologise for that. We agreed to collect the item, which you still have, and issue a full refund.
However, you raised a chargeback just 24 hours after requesting the refund. The Consumer Contracts Regulations allow retailers up to 14 days to process a refund, subject to the return of the goods.
We accept our error, but claiming a chargeback was “all you had left” after just 24 hours is simply not a fair account of what happened.

Poor Service !
Trying to get on line with them is already a challenge. But once you have, the delivery is another real hurddle . Don't be in rush that's all I can say. Then I was charge to collect some unused tubs at 15£ 'per tubs' to collect them !!! I would agree on one flat fee but 'per item' is something I have never encounter before. So be warn to order what you need and not more. Good luck.

This review rather conveniently overlooks the reason for the supposed delivery “hurdle”. We invoiced you on 30th July, but you did not pay until 4th August, after that day's deliveries had already been dispatched. Your order was then delivered on 7th August. The delay was therefore caused by your late payment, not poor service from us.
You then wanted to return surplus tubs that you had over-ordered, for which the return cost was correctly your responsibility.
It is also disappointing that you chose to shout and swear at our customer service staff when they explained this to you.
We welcome fair criticism, but reviews should accurately reflect what actually happened.

Great Customer Service
I had a few issues using the Klana payment choice, but a live chat got everything sorted quickly and easily. They also delivered the paving on the day I asked, so a very happy customer here :)

Deception! If out of stock don't trust them!
I ordered mid June, the paving was out of stock but would be available in July, no communication whatsoever so rang at the end of July and they said they couldn't give me a date when it would be available. Showed me some other paving but would not price match so I asked for a refund. Three weeks on and I am still waiting! Have rung them and been reassured that it is being processed, but don't know if I believe them really. Might soon be Ombudsman time!

We are very sorry to see this review, but we do need to correct several points, particularly given the serious allegation of “deception”.
The stock issues affecting this order are neither deliberate nor unique to Paving Superstore. Businesses across construction, manufacturing and many other industries are currently dealing with significant disruption to international supply chains as a result of the war and the severe restrictions on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. This has affected the availability and movement of building materials worldwide, and unfortunately means that expected stock dates can change for reasons entirely outside a retailer’s control.
When it became clear that we could not provide a sufficiently reliable date for your original choice, our team attempted to help by showing you alternative paving that was available. We appreciate that you wanted us to price match the alternative, but different products have different costs, and we cannot simply reduce the price of another product to match an unavailable item.
Most importantly, the statement that you are “still waiting” for your refund needs clarification. You requested your refund on 30th July, and we have already informed you that it was processed on 11th August. This is well within the refund processing timeframe we quote to customers. Once a refund has been processed by us, the time it takes to appear in an account can also depend on the customer's bank or payment provider.
We completely understand the frustration caused by an item being delayed, and we would much rather have been able to supply your original paving when expected. However, describing the situation as “deception” does not fairly reflect what happened. This was a genuine stock availability issue during an exceptionally difficult period for global supply chains; alternatives were offered when the delay became apparent, and when you chose a refund instead, that refund was processed within our stated timeframe.

Still waiting for bullnose steps
Ordered new Kandla grey porcelain tiles and bullnose steps for a patio renovation. Was told the bullnose steps were out of stock and unclear when new stock would be received due to the disruption from the Iran war. However, they offered a solution to cut the bullnose steps through a supplier (at a premium) which will ensure they would be arrive in 3 -4 weeks. I needed them on time for the builder who was on tight timeline, so opted for the bespoke steps. 2.5 months later, I still haven't received the steps despite constant chasing. Very frustrating - seems I paid extra for no reason and I paid everything upfront. Sales team said this is entirely due to supplier, but they shouldn't be using unreliable suppliers and telling customers it can be done quicker. I now have to pay for builders to come back later as they've moved to different job

I ordered samples that I received really quickly. Then I was able to order exactly what I needed, it was so helpful to be able to choose a delivery date. Great company for stone products
I came to Paving Superstore after a local builders merchant couldn't fulfill an order and I have been really pleased with my experience. The value, range and choice of options (being able to split project packs for example), is excellent.
There were some breakages in transit and they replaced promptly and with no fuss which kept up the job momentum.
Will be using them for all future paving work.

Sandstone steps
The steps arrived within the stated time, they were well packed and great quality so I was really happy. There were two things that could have been better though, firstly I only got 20cminutes notice they were arriving this wa very short, and they came on a blue pallet which when I took it to the dump I was told could be picked up for free by GCH it would have been good to know this, but overall I am happy.
