Very high-quality flowers
I love arranging flowers to celebrate the seasons, and Petalon always offers everything I need. Their locally grown Cornish bouquets, and especially their poppies and cosmos, are my favourites. The flowers are always carefully wrapped, with a watered cotton pad protecting the stems, and the box is sturdy and secure.
I do hope they offer more loose-flower options in the future instead of mostly bouquets, as some customers (like me!) enjoy arranging the stems in their own vases.

The most beautiful bouquet
The most beautiful bouquet! I was slightly sceptical as it’s November and all the flowers are grown in the UK and it’s my first time buying from them but wow! I sent a bunch to my friend as she’s just got engaged and they are stunning! Like one of the most beautiful postal delivery bouquets I’ve ever seen! Enough to make me write a review haha! Will be shopping again! Well done Petalon team!

Hi Ciara, thank you so much! We're so pleased to hear you loved the flowers. For full transparency I just wanted to let you know that although we do still have some flowers coming out of our fields in Cornwall in November, this bouquet would have also used imported flowers. We grow a large portion of our own flowers in the months that we can here in Cornwall (March-Nov), but we also import from abroad outside of that season so that we can maintain a year-round product for our customers and year-round work for our staff, as well as a best-in-class product. Despite this, as a business we are in fact enormously carbon negative anyway. We have planted 6000 trees on our farm, as well as our extensive composting program and we donate our end of year profits to conservation and wildlife projects in the UK. We also use entirely home-compostable packaging, power our farm by entirely renewable energy, using regenerative practices and we leave half the land we manage to local wildlife. You can always click on 'where were these flowers grown' underneath each product title to see whether the product uses homegrown flowers or not. A bunch of gorgeous flowers arrived when they said it would.
The paying part isn’t as easy as it might have been because now there seem to be third parties involved.
Maybe this makes life easier for the company.

Difficult to deliver for flat in London
Unfortunately the delivery company left them in the garden so my daughter found them 3 days later. Her other flowers were delivered ok on the same day. I do not blame Petalon as it was definitely a delivery issue.

Droopy. Straggly. Brown leaves. Dead flowers. Received flowers through the post from…
Received flowers through the post from my daughter. They arrived squashed. The flowers were not the best quality considering the cost of them. Some were nearly dead with brown leaves. I read the instructions and the part where it said “give them 24 hours in water to freshen up”. They didn’t. They just look straggly.
I sent photos to my daughter and she has complained. Will wait to see outcome.
If I am honest I could have had better quality and freshness from my local shops. Such a shame when the advertising does not meet the real expectation.

Ive had several bouquets and a mixed…
Ive had several bouquets and a mixed handful of 100% Cornish flowers recently. All beautiful. Dozens of delicate English summer flowers with some lovely foliage too. Some of the stems have lasted over a week and looked pretty in little pots dotted about.

Absolutely stunning…
The flowers were beautifully packaged in sustainable packaging and the mixture is absolutely delightful. So unusual and like having a spring meadow in my kitchen. So far they’ve lasted over a week and still look as fresh as the day they arrived. And they are organically grown and everything about the company seems ethical
