We had a valuation with Jonathan Sharp today and he was excellent. Very thorough and professional but also polite, friendly and patient. He talked us through each step of the process and was very clear at all stages. What could have been a very stressful morning was very straightforward. Very impressive.

We had a really positive experience with Pinnacle. After filling in an online query they were quick to get in touch with us, providing a quote and further information. The surveyor, Sam, then visited our property a few days later to complete the level 2 survey and we were very impressed with his efficiency when we received the survey report the following day. The report was detailed and comprehensive and the follow up phone call from Sam was extremely helpful in terms of understanding some of the things raised in greater depth.

Very good experience explaining everything as they went along

Ed was brilliant, did a thorough check and found a few problems that I wouldn’t have known about if I hadn’t had the level 2 survey. Even though it is a new build I would never have known about the roof problems or the bi-fold doors that should never be made of upvc. Thanks Ed.

The booking part was so simple and I was given a choice of dates for the survey. I was then given a time slot a day or two before the survey was complete. The surveyor (Wayne McIntyre) was great, I had my little boy in the house at the time and it wasn’t a problem at all. He was kind and we got it all done fairly quick. I then got my results of the survey back incredibly quickly which meant I could push along the payback of Help to Buy loan with Target.

Quality of survey and their customer service levels are really good.

Where I got let down was the timescales, the survey took a while to get booked in, and then it was 5 days before I received the report.
When receiving the report you get told the surveyor will call you to discuss further soon. It ended up a few weeks later.

I've used Pinnacle Surveyors before. Had to wait thus time for well over a week for the survey to be undertaken and then over a week to get the written report back. The survey was very comprehensive and was RAG rated for ease of understanding which was good. The valuation was also helpful as we had a feeling the house we're buying was over priced for the condition we could see it was in so the valuation took this into account. We have since renegotiated the asking price and are paying £8k less so well worth the price of the Report! We also know in detail now what all the issues are with the house, which aren't too bad but it's reassuring to know. The Surveyor did try and call me a few days after sending the report to answer any questions and left a message he would call back but never did, but to be fair I had his number so could have called him back if needed. Overall good service, would have liked it done quicker and the Report back quicker but guess it's reflective of the time of year. Would recommend and use again.

I paid for the survey a long time before it was carried out. However when it came to it there was good communication, a thorough report and the surveyor answered the questions I had on speaking a short time after. Although it would have been useful if the surveyor had the report at the time of the discussion an answer was forthcoming very swiftly after.
