Shockingly slow lead time in delivery compared to other suppliers.
Label for my order was generated on the Friday by FedEx at 2.13am . Called Tuesday as still not received. Was told it’s still in the warehouse and might be picked up by FedEx today being Tuesday so might receive it by Wednesday or Thursday. The There was a mixup in the warehouse and somebody hadn’t done something they should have done. Long story short I won’t get my order until five or six days after it was ordered.
Customer service constantly quoted lead time of 4-7 working days but really when you’re spending £9.50 for delivery and it’s not the fault of FedEx I would have expected better.
If you’re looking for good delivery times and customer service I would go with Bath Potters Supplies or Hotclay both of whom have been excellent.

Sarah got back to me straight away -really helpful and was able to make my changes as required.

Wished I could give them more stars for the customer service efficiency and a brilliant stock of items on their website. Will definitely order future items through Potclays.

I had a panic and needed kiln furniture and glazes quickly to be able to complete work that was urgently needing done.
Im usually very happy with rhe normal delivery times but was stressing I wouldn't get it in time. I emailed asking if it could be delivered faster and, for a small extra fee, Sarah very quickly and kindly advised me that I could get it next day as long as I advised her before 3pm.
This has all been taken care of and now I am a little less stressed than I was originally.

Fantastic customer care. Far superior to some other companies I have used.

Will continue to use Potclays but will try and be more organised in future, but know they can help if I need them

Along with an incredible amount of stock and supplies, PotClays have an exceptional, knowledgeable customer service team! I’ve had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed regarding glazes and tools. Both have been dealt with professionally. Fern in particular, has paid diligence to the final resolution!

I telephoned Potclays to get some advice on clay that we were considering purchasing for our SEN College students. The lovely ladies in Sales and Finance were super helpful, answered all of my queries, set up our new account and helped me throughout the order process.

I've just purchased my first kiln and wheel from Potclays, and they couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Really great prices and good quality products. Shipping is super fast if you choose fed-ex at checkout too.
There was a mis-packing in my order (I was sent a wrong glaze by mistake) but customer service were amazing, apologetic, and sorted it very fast! They even let me keep the incorrect glaze and sent my original one next day delivery. (Thank you Sarah!). A brilliant company and I'll definitely order again.

I've shopped around and the prices are excellent! The responses to question are quick and the shipping is super fast. I dont have anything negative to say about Potclays except that i wish they had a store here in Norway :-)
