Straightforward

short wait and caring doctor
The wait for an appointment was much shorter than anticipated with an easy online booking system where you could choose from a variety of practitioners with patient feedback to help guide that choice. There were some lengthy forms to fill out in advance of being able to book the appointment which I understand is standard and forms part of the comprehensive assessment.
My doctor was patient, thoughtful and reassuring throughout what was a very stressful and nerve wracking process.

I am currently on my third waiting…
I am currently on my third waiting times for titration - which is 6 months wait each - because of a mistake on their end. They dont care, they take ages, pick another one.

ADHD prescriber Meymuna Osman
My assigned ADHD prescriber Meymuna Osman was extremely responsive, thorough and supportive throughout my medication titration. She helped me to feel validated, seen and understood and was on hand to respond to any questions or concerns I had.
She also provided me with guidance and advice throughout, plus signposted me to any relevant information she thought would be helpful in my situation.

Jackie Millman is the best ADHD treatment provider I have ever had.
Whilst the extremely long wait times for accessing treatment were difficult, I still think the service was amazing and invaluable and deserves a 5 star specifically due to the sincerity, dedication, care, and attentiveness shown by Jackie Millman during the titration period. Jackie was always prompt with responses in the portal and assisted me with advisory notes and calls, addressing my dozens of questions and guiding me to understand how to have the most benefit from my treatment without expecting me to make drastic changes, just minor tweaks and strategies like diet and sleep. Cumulatively the help has now helped me move forward significantly in life and move past roadblocks that I struggled with for over a decade.
I extend my sincere gratitude and best wishes to Jackie and the team, and hope everybody is able to get the help and support they deserve on this journey.

4 years just for some adhd medication…
The appointment itself was fine but I’ve been out on the titration waiting list before and was waiting for months and months and when they finally contacted me I was out of the country and didn’t pick it up so now I’ve had to wait months to just be seen again and they’ve just told me I’m going to have to wait another 15 months to get medication, all in all this process has taken years. It’s been over 2 years since I’ve been diagnosed with adhd and around 3/4 years since I started this process.

Excellent experience throughout

The prescriber, in particular, gave very patient centred care in that she made sure I was happy with changes before implementing them. I was reassured about some concerns I had and ever question was answered. I want to thank P-UK from the bottom of my heart for literally changing my life. Thank you!!

Amazing prescriber Nic
I found my prescriber, Nic, extremely helpful and informative. She always responds quickly and is thoughtfully.
But I do wish there was a phone call at the beginning of titration as it would really help understand the preliminary / foundational things about how ADHD medication works.
The call you get at the end is incredible and so reassuring. Psychiatry UK has been a great experience overall.

The Psychiatrist who conducted my Review was very Professional, friendly, courteous, respectful and friendly. She showed a lot of empathy for me and my difficulties. She was also extremely friendly and kind. I would Highly Recommend her for all these traits as well as her natural compassionate nature which helped hugely with my Anxiety.
