I had a great experience in my ASD assessment! Dr Khattab and Lyndsey were both so lovely and made me feel so comfortable. They asked all the right questions to get the conclusion I needed. I felt so heard and understood. I would highly recommend this service!

I think whatever service you work with for ADHD or Autism is so overloaded that you cant blame the organisation for long waits. What I can say is that PUK did all they could to try and mitigate that workload.
The portal was very useful for asking for support and questions, my subscriber Sunny was great, helpful and supportive through titration.

As someone with ADHD whose brain sometimes runs on 47 tabs at once, I can honestly say Psychiatry UK were brilliant. Every interaction felt personal, they always did exactly what they said they would, and their communication was clear, honest, and reassuring.

They were helpful, knowledgeable, and gave great advice throughout. No chasing, no guessing, no wondering what was happening next, which is particularly helpful when organisation isn't exactly my superpower!

The whole team treated me as an individual and made the process feel easy. I recommend Psychiatry UK 100% and am genuinely grateful for the support they provided.

The long waitlist (~10 months to assessment, ~10 months to titration) was not ideal, but I understand that’s hard for them to control and most places are overwhelmed. However once I was assessed and eventually was assigned to the titration team, the experience was fantastic. For me that was thanks to the specialist I was assigned to, Meymuna Osman - she was so helpful and informative and answered all of my (many questions) throughout, and was empathetic and efficient to make adjustments when I had side effects. The titration period felt very supportive thanks to her, and the reason I’m leaving this review is because of the level of service Meymuna gave.

Too many issues to even go into . But the largest one is two prescribers mid care just vanished and at one stage I was left 7 weeks mid care with no answers and had to start again twice with new people . The fact it's online only and they are so hard to make contact with . I had several bad medicine reactions and one in particular I didn't get any response from my prescriber for 6 days despite me contacting them 4 times and advising I ended to with an ambulance and had stopped the medication awaiting the advice from psychiatry UK . The whole time I was with them I felt unsafe and unsupported .

I don't think it is reasonable or possible to form a judgement on someone solely on a one hour video call. It was extremely distressing and invalidating.

Really helpful, they were there when I needed help, reasurance and guidance throughout my treatment journey. Helen was there when ever I had questions I needed answering.

Extremely disappointed with the rigid and rushed approach to ADHD titration at this clinic. I felt that my complex medical history was disregarded, leaving me with no resolution.
During the process, I was prescribed amphetamine-based medication seemingly without adequate consideration for my pre-existing health risks. Shortly after starting, I suffered a torn retina. While the direct link is unconfirmed, I have a previous history of a stroke that impacted my eye health, I believe a critical factor that should have been thoroughly reviewed by the clinical team before prescribing stimulants.
Unfortunately, because the clinic operates on a strictly limited timeline for titration, the process was abruptly concluded without establishing a safe or effective long-term treatment plan. The rigid constraints of their framework seem to prioritise speed over patient safety and individualised care. I cannot recommend this service for anyone requiring a nuanced, careful approach to medication management.

Very friendly , quick and efficient process

After a 18 months on medication and prescribed by psychiatry UK nurse prescriber, I had my year 2 review. My GP declined shared care in the first year. Recent review the consultant didn't appear to understand my needs and put me back on the titration list, ending my nurse prescribing prescription, therefore now without medication. During the review it was agreed no medication changes so adding me to a titration list makes no sense and is preventing my care being continued. An email and phone call to inform of this mistake, only to receive an email back with no action to rectify the mistake of adding me to a titration list I shouldn't be on.

The doctor was extremely attentive, polite, calm and patient. He took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions and explain everything clearly and calmly, making sure I could understand the information.

His empathy, patience and professionalism made a real difference to my appointment. It is so important to find a healthcare professional who treats us with respect, takes the time to listen without rushing, and makes us feel comfortable expressing our questions and concerns.
