Have been impressed with my experience so far. Titration process was smooth, Helen made things feel easy and re assured me. Patient with my slow replies to thing and communication was spot on. She’s explained next steps if shared care isn’t agreed and it seems very straightforward to keep getting meds from psychiatry Uk

Only has 1 type of methylphenidate so if you have side effects thats your problem. Didnt follow NICE guidelines - company policy for NHS RTC patients is to offer just 2 drugs then give up. I wanted 2.5 years for that.

All aspects of the service are easy to use and the people are very helpful

Two failed appointments, no accountability and told to start the referral process AGAIN.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with Psychiatry UK.

On TWO separate occasions, I attempted to attend my scheduled appointments and experienced technical difficulties with their video calling system. I attend Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings throughout my working day without any problems, yet somehow both of my Psychiatry UK appointments were affected.

Rather than investigating the issue or offering a reasonable solution, I have been told I must go BACK to my GP, obtain an entirely new referral and potentially wait all over again.

How is that remotely acceptable?

I called their customer service team and spoke with Alvin, who was genuinely lovely, professional and helpful. She deserves a five-star review herself! Unfortunately, she explained that I would need another referral and that there was apparently nobody else I could speak to who could escalate or resolve the situation.

So, essentially, two appointments affected by technical problems, no investigation that I have been made aware of, no escalation and no solution. Just another administrative burden placed on the patient.

This is a PSYCHIATRIC healthcare provider. You are dealing with people who may already be struggling to access the help they need. The lack of flexibility, accountability and basic problem-solving is genuinely concerning.

I understand technology can fail. What I don't understand is why patients are apparently expected to take full responsibility for technical difficulties without anyone properly investigating what happened.

I have already completed the referral process, waited for appointments and made every effort to attend them. I do not have unlimited time to go backwards and forwards to my GP because your organisation cannot offer a reasonable resolution.

**Psychiatry UK, I want this resolved.**

I expect someone with the authority to investigate both failed appointments to contact me, explain what happened and arrange a replacement appointment without forcing me to restart the entire referral process.

I am not interested in a generic apology or another instruction to contact my GP. I want an actual solution.

Patients deserve better than this. Especially from a mental healthcare provider.

I am happy to provide my patient details privately so this can be investigated, and I would welcome direct contact from someone authorised to resolve the issue.

Very professional as well as personable in what is possibly one of the most anxiety provoking moments in many people's lives. Highly recommend Dr Owen Roberts.

I was assessed for both ADHD and ASD, and while the ADHD experience was overwhelmingly positive, I had a very bad experience with my appointment for an autism diagnosis and felt like the doctor didn’t even try to listen to me. There was also no way for me to get a second opinion, despite waiting a whole year from referral for that awful appointment.
Thankfully I was able to access the help I needed on the ADHD side. The prescriber assigned to me has been excellent and thoughtful, and answered all of my questions very patiently. Overall it’s a mostly good service that can help a lot of people, but the wait times are atrocious and there are some significant logistical issues, such as getting medication deliveries from PPG which has been repeatedly difficult.

I have had an excellent experience with Psychiatry-UK. The doctors and staff have been outstanding throughout, showing patience, understanding, and genuine care. They took the time to explain everything clearly and simply, making sure I understood each step of the process without feeling overwhelmed.
They made me feel comfortable and at ease, listened to my concerns, and treated me with kindness and respect. Their reassuring and professional approach made a real difference to my experience.
I am very grateful for the support I have received and would highly recommend Psychiatry-UK to anyone looking for a caring, understanding, and professional mental health service. Thank you to all the doctors and staff for making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier.

Report recieved very accurate, all info and communication was excellent, waiting times were as expected. Medication titration, annual review including booking and follow up were efficient, accurate and i highly recommend for ADHD assessment, adult female.

The Doctor made me feel comfortable but I felt a little rushed and felt options of medication weren’t really discussed. I was signed off then had to re refer within a few days after appointment for medication request. I felt this should be explained

Awful, degrading, time wasting, dangerous healthcare, long waits, lying to patients, not following through on promises, should be shut down
