Lost my father many thousands of pounds
Lost my father many thousands of pounds, through poor investments (gold and volatile small companies) and lack of attention. They charged high management fees, have been secretive and inaccessible via the web and over the phone, and kept my father in the lurch. Quilter are answerable to my family, as is our advisor Patrick Murphy. As an industry, the wealth management industry deserves scorn, no company moreso than Quilter. Snake oil salesmen.

The financial adviser that I use is completely clear and open about everything. He ensures that I understand everything and if there is anything that I don't, it is never too much trouble for him to help me. This is always done in a friendly manner and I am never made to feel inadequate this, is very important. I trust completely in his advice and support.

Unlike some others …
Sadly often contacting a call centre involves being put through to someone in a low wage country. The conversations can sometimes be laboured and it is embarrassingly necessary to ask the call handler to repeat themselves. This is never the case with Quilter. They answer almost at once, understand what you are asking, reply with helpful advice and do so with good natured exchanges.

A very well organised trustworthy company with competitive fees..
A very well organised company whose systems are all on-line and the infomation is accessable by clients on smart phones. System of independent advisers works well in that the client has a personal adviser, who usually lives locally, who the client gets to know and trust. But there is still a helpful call centre.
