An update on my review from last week
An update on my review from last week. Even though we had been assured by Quilter the money would be transferred in a couple of days, we are still waiting. The whole process has already taken a month so far and my new SIPP provider have had no communication from Quilter. Appalling lack of care for their customers. Will be transferring my parents pension out from Quilter, as have lost faith with Quilter.

Quicker phone response and clearer direction of calls. Warning of tax implications, unclear what the net value of withdrawals is going to be, resulting in surprise of the amount of deductions

Don't use them
Don't use them. They make no connection between how important your money is to you and their process. Quilter are not set up to deal with external customers. They can only deal with a paid by you adviser because of process. It can take two days to respond to enquiries or by email they don't reply at all - while your money sits there doing nothing you want it to. I gave written instructions that went nowhere. I was given advice on process that proved to be wrong in moving a pension and have to wait 48 hours for a response. Escalation is also poor. I am moving and will make a loss doing it.

Too complicated pension rules made clear.
Pension rules are too complicated for mere mortals. I needed good advise and support, and received this from a brilliant Quilter adviser. The excellent advise was followed by timely actions, provided by very able support people. The platform is useful and supports the actions of the team, storing documents etc, saving the flurry of paper usually part of the process. An excellent user experience.
