Shake Shack Avis 

Food quality was so poor but worst of all is the churros milk shake-be careful all; everyone I know who tried it got sick and was vomiting including my young kids.

My wife just went to the Shake Shack at IFC to order food for take away (at 4pm Saturday 27 July). One of the items was New York Fries which she paid $50 for, only to find that when she open the Shake Shack bag when she got home there was only a small plain fries which means that the staff packed the wrong order yet she still paid for the food she was supposed to receive. I've tried calling the Shake Shack IFC branch telephone number numerous times and it just keeps going to voicemail so they clearly don't take orders by telephone or accept calls for complaints etc. I've sent emails before as well with no feedback. This isn't the first time we've received incorrect food orders from this branch but usually we would just let it go because it's just not worth the effort to go through all of this but this seriously needs to be addressed and people need to know the quality of service is just shocking.

You are using cheap buns. Replace the buns with one that are bigger and more filling.

Shake Shack en Aeropuerto JFK en New York. La comida estivo deliciosa. Muy bien preparada, con porciones apropiadas y muy bien presentada. La variedad es buena sin ser abrumadoramente grande. Las bebidas son un poco pequeñas pero excepcionalmente sabrosas. Pedimos Hamburguesa con Queso, Sandwich de Pollo, Papas Fritas y Limonada. Todo delicioso hasta el ultimo bocado. El personal es atento y tomando en cuenta que la linea era de aproximadamente 15 clientes, el servicio fue rápido. Congratulations Shake Shack.

This was Wendy's but 10x more expensive. What a waste of money $28 for 2 single burgers 1 fry and 1 juice drink. It honestly tasted just like Wendy's and you have to order online or on a screen.

This is by far the worst shake shack I have ever been to. I don't like any of them, but sometimes I am with someone who wants a burger from there, but this one no one wants. I have been there before, knew it was a mistake, but I did not think it would mostly go in the trash.

This is a place where you order at the counter. They have eat in, take away and delivery.

The inside is sort of cute. It is not kept clean at all. Every time I have been stuck here I have had to clean and bus my own table. There are a lot of employees so what they all are doing is beyond me.

The person that took my order was nice. I told him I wanted my burger rare. Some of them have done that, some not. So, I asked to make sure and he said it was not a problem. We also ordered drinks and fries.

My burger and not only well done, it was burnt. I had to get up and take it back. I handed it to the most obnoxious employee I have come across in some time. As I was telling her the problem, she was tossing it behind her back into the trash (basketball practice maybe). She then said we only make them well done. I told her she just tossed it and now I have to wait for another one, can you at least no burn it. She was so so rude. When it came back it was burnt to a crisp. In the trash it went.

My grandson was to have a burger without cheese, as they only have awful American cheese, it came with cheese. He walked his back and another punt into the trash by this horrible woman. It came back with a new bun, with cheese still on the burnt burger. Back again, and this time they remade it and it was so gross, I tossed that in the trash.

We ordered lemonade that tasted like water.

Their fries are frozen and taste just like something from the frozen section in the discount aisle of a market.

We got up and left.

Never again. Dirty, bad service and gross food.

Long line up outside. Another one inside. Order online or at the counter...burger was underwhelming. Small. Few toppings. Even double patty with sauce was disappointing. And fries? Just like McCain's frozen. Never never going back. Waste of 35$

I've had Shake Shack in many US cities and it is consistently good. I was excited when I saw it in London and couldn't wait to pop in. It was such a poor reflection on the brand. I ordered the same items I usually have in America (shack burger, chocolate malted shake and fries). The shake tasted the same and was great. The burger was just okay. The shack sauce was about the only thing that tasted the same. The burger patty was dry and over cooked and not great. The fries were horrible. They were cold and dried out, I barley ate a quarter of them. I'll stick to eating Shake Shack in the US after this visit.

I have the most awesome day at shake shack with the meal I ordered it was so delicious and the staff was friendly

Awful service. Tried to chuck me out when I said I was going to go to the loo and another time my friend was ordering food and they chucked me out whilst I was waiting for my order.

Forgot a steak and refused to give another one because we “did not pay for it”(we did)

I went here yesterday and they gave me a wrong meal and haven't refunded me. Bad customer service. Can't recommend. Very unimpressed. They don't value your patronage!

I had wait over 2 hours for my food I 'm tired this place last time had wait over 1hour for my food another time my fries were cold another time they game me wrong burger and half cup soda. Ketchup never full they had speed today but still had to wait 2 1/2 hours but people that came behind me was suppose wait for me thats not good customer service. guy was taking the treys after manger yelled wanted know why his staff didn't get my food guy next was about cuss at his boss. I'm sorry I 'm custmer I don't know if you guys want give me cards when i come in but ur staff embrassing me and the food not hot I and other people can get food poisoning.

Chicken Burger and Chicken bites tasted burnt (or the Cooking Oil needed changing??) Cheesy Chips were Chips with a little tub of Cheese Sauce, the Sauce tasted 'gritty' like it was mixed from powder, only poorly mixed 🤢 The takeaway food is a joke, the packaging isn't enclosed, it's just like they use for eat-in so the food doesn't retain its heat ❄️👎 To top it all, whilst waiting in excess of 20 mins to get my food, I watched a Staff Member change the food bin on the customer side. On the floor in front of the bin were 5 (clean) serviettes, he picked up 3 of them, and just left the other two! Makes me wonder if they can't be bothered to clean up in a public facing location, what can't they be bothered cleaning in the Kitchen..?? I won't be going back here again 👎

The food was good. The meat was very good quality and so were the cheese fries. It's a bit overpriced and the service is quite slow (had to wait over 20 minutes for our food and almost had to fight for a place to seat). Not sure I would go back.

Went to the Oxford Shop, food took forever, 3 times as long as I was told it would take, was not busy in the store, food was cold and cheese sauce had been imploded over our food, and had to eat my partner's food as they were lactose intolerance.

It’s not a good place to either get a quick meal or have a nice sit down one. The burger was greasy and small for the price. The cheesy fries were revolting I couldn’t even finish one chip with cheese on.
For the price, wait time and quality of food it’s terrible. Go somewhere that wants to give you a decent meal.

Slow staff, dirty kitchen area and poorly made and small portion burgers for high prices. Mc Donald's is 100% better and much cheaper .

Won't be visiting shake shak ever again or recommend to anyone. The customer service don't respond and just advise they will send details to their team.
