Wrong shed then late shed..

Again, spent all day in waiting for a shed (no email, text on either occasion). Shed arrived early afternoon next day as driver had run out of hours but why NO CONTACT.
Shed is as expected.
Logistics are well below expectations.

We recognise that the first delivery was incorrect, with a different building supplied to the one you had ordered, and we appreciate how disappointing this was, particularly as you had a builder arranged. We then had to rearrange the correct building for delivery, and unfortunately the driver was unable to complete the delivery on the scheduled day due to reaching their legal driving hours. We understand that this resulted in you having to wait again without the level of communication you reasonably expected.
We’re particularly sorry that you did not receive the delivery updates you were expecting. While our records show that delivery notifications were issued, we appreciate that this did not translate into the timely communication you needed on the day, and we understand your frustration at having to contact us yourself for updates.
We’re pleased that the correct building was ultimately delivered and that you were happy with the shed itself, but we recognise that the journey to that point fell short of the experience we aim to provide. Your feedback regarding the delivery process and communication has been shared with the relevant teams.

You get what you pay for. (bought from B&Q)
Delivery.
The 1st, real failing was that B&Q states a 14 day delivery so I order4ed this to coincide with getting other work done at home so my contractors could assemble it for me. Ordered 14/08, first delivery date promised was 04/09 so 21 days and after my contractors had finished. I called the manufacturer (Shire) and they offered no change just saying they had told B&Q they cannot meet the 14 days. To add insult to injury Shire then cancelled that delivery and delivered on the 11/09, 28 days from date of order or double what was promised when ordered. It then was delivered by one person who struggled to do it so rather than watch him suffer in the rain I ended up off loading it with him, annoyingly with no acknowledgment or thanks (communication was very difficult) – You are welcome!
Quality.
This is inexpensive compared to other garden buildings and the quality of the wood explains why. it is as thin as you could possibly get to stay together (barely).
Assembly.
You need a degree in DIY to build this thing. What you need to know is:
There are a number of 'you will need tools' missing from the list in the instructions.
Not a single hole you need to drill or nail is pre-marked so you need to figure out where to drill yourself.
The back is made up of 3 sections that have to line up perfectly if you want the roof to fit. Unfortunately, the tolerance from the thinnest wood on the planet does not allow for adjustments.
The sides are two panels each, again they need to be spot on.
The front is 7 components (including doors and windows), which you need to brace as you construct (not in the instructions), if you want the doors to work.
There are no instructions to tell you where to drill/screw, no measurements nothing, it's up to you. – who knew I can now fit window frames and doors.
There are 4 pieces of wood left over when you finish and having 'read the book' many times go figure that they are the lower trims.
Stability.
The legs supplied are so thin, it made me nervous looking at them - I bought 3 x 2m lengths of 4x4 fence post and made my own in the hope it would therefore stay upright and not rot away in a year.
Weatherproofing.
The finish is variable to say the least. it appears to be sprayed on (judging by the outline of a staple gun where there is no coverage. The rest of it is spotty, uneven, splattered and like the wood so thin.
Aesthetics.
It does look nice, just don't look to close.
At the end of the day, I have a beech hut style summerhouse so what can you say.

Easy to order product
Easy to order product, delivery was exactly as described, by a very helpful friendly driver.
Unfortunately there was a packet of hardware missing but this was quickly posted to us

Poor Communication and No Support From Chloe and Shire.
The complaint/review said the first delivery on 14 August arrived damaged and was refused, then the replacement delivery was even worse, with more cracks/damage, and it was left outside on the pavement without you being able to inspect it. You had already supplied photos, but the issue was still unresolved.

Quality of product (greenhouse) fantastic
Assembly and getting the right components to site (miserable)
Eventually after threatening with court action I received the greenhouse, assembled what I payed for (not cheap) by the way. Companies want to sell you expensive products but clean their hands of any difficulties of Assembly.
Customer service did their best, we Eventually got there.

The installation had been arranged with a separate assembly company, and the circumstances on site meant that the installation was being carried out in a way that differed from our recommended installation method. Due to the restricted access and the particular challenges of the site, we had concerns about whether our team could safely complete all aspects of the installation.
Despite this, we wanted to help bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion and agreed to attend and complete as much of the outstanding installation as could safely be carried out, as a gesture of goodwill.
We appreciate your patience throughout what was clearly a frustrating process, and we’re pleased that you ultimately received your greenhouse and are happy with the quality of the finished product. Thank you again for your feedback.
Great product
Once a delivery date was finally agreed, on the day of delivery no time slot was notified we just had to wait, but when it did arrive it well packaged and the delivery man was very helpful. The shed was very easy to assemble with full instructions. There was only one issue there was not enough felt nails provided so we had to buy more, but now up and very sturdy and everything fits correctly very pleased.

Poor quality, poor service.
I suppose you get what you pay for, and this shed is cheaper than most, and it is clear why. It’s incredibly poor quality. The overlapping cladding is very thin, almost cardboard like. It’s about half the thickness of another shed I have. The entire shed is very flimsy and part of the door is split. I can’t see it lasting very long.
In response to Shire’s reply. There’s absolutely nothing on the advertisement which calls it part of a “value” range. Don’t make excuses for terrible quality.

Good product but delivery is…
Good product but delivery is terrible ordered and paid for shed on the 7th of September told it would be delivered 21st took day of work shed did not arrive even though I was tracking it ,first said between 10am and 2pm then hr later 3.30 till 4 35 half hr later 5.35 delivery, checked at 5.35 tracking had been turned off had no phone calls or emails to say it would not be delivered. Then at 8.15 this morning 22nd of September I had a phone call to say driver was outside my house i told him to put shed round back as am at work he said that's my problem so I had to ring a neighbour to go round and help like I said terrible delivery service

We did respond to your enquiry and, after reviewing the photographs provided, identified that the building shown was an Alora summerhouse rather than the 3x5 Overlap SD Value building supplied through Wayfair. As the Alora was purchased through a different retailer, we advised you to contact the retailer you purchased it from so they can assist with the issue and arrange any appropriate support.
We’re sorry for any confusion this may have caused and hope the matter can be resolved for you as quickly as possible.
I was only informed less than 24 hrs…
I was only informed less than 24 hrs before I was due delivery of my purchase that it wouldn't be delivered on the given date. I was then told I would receive a confirmation email (after learning they hadn't even taken my email address previously) of the next delivery date. I had to chase this up again 24hrs before date given. Thankfully it did arrive on the 2nd date given but I had arranged for a tradesman to erect the summer house and had to cancel due to non delivery, now I am having go wait until he has another free slot.

I’m sorry your delivery was rearranged at such short notice and that you had to chase confirmation of the new date.
To clarify, the order details we receive from Tesco include the order number, telephone number and delivery address, but no customer email address. We should have checked this with you when booking your delivery so we could send confirmation.
Although your summer house arrived on the rearranged date, we understand the disruption to your plans and the frustration of now waiting for your tradesman to be available again. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

I wouldn’t recommend buying this shed/ summer house. When we ordered it, it showed as delivery in 1-2weeks it was only after they took our money we were informed there was issues and ending up waiting 2months It arrived with huge holes and cracks in the wood and has leaked every time it has rained. We reached out to the seller just for them to take weeks to get back to us to say they can not see an issue and just close the case, even after we sent them photos detailing everything. Poor product, poor customer service. Honestly regret buying this

Look for a better alternative than these guys.
Timber trims delivered warped. Shiplap nailed to one of the frames wonky. Foot nearly gone through the floor. Roof needs extra support as the 34x34mm timber is not structurally strong enough. Windows wont shut after 3 months old.
Customer service is more interested in if it’s been treated at 3 months old rather than dealing with the structural issues and poor quality.
Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.
