Spire Healthcare Avis 

Quality of healthcare is generally good but the administration is terrible . I have attempted to pay a bill for £100 now 5 times without success mainly because their online payment system fails and trying to pay by phone is problematic because waiting times are awful and no one ever calls back if messages are left . Now I am receiving e mails threatening legal action , CCJs etc etc. Attempt no 6 this morning. A promised call back once more. We will see. Three hours later . No call! Mane they are delicately looking to summonse me!! Now onto call no 7.

From the moment I arrived staff were very welcoming and on the ward, the nurse was very helpful. Made me feel that I was someone and not just another patient. After my procedure, the staff were very helpful and explained all my after care in detail. Would definitely recommend this hospital to others

From first contact with Spire through Louise, the whole process went smoothly and quickly. All the staff were excellent. Mr Jordan was caring, easy to talk talk and extremely good. My hip replacement has been a dream!

Without doubt a truly outstanding experience from start to finish . I was made to feel safe , like i was the only patient in the hospital . The consultants , medical team and all of the support services truly achieved individualised personal care , really living Spires values , i would thoroughly recommend Little Aston Hospital to anyone , i wouldn't go anywhere else there is no where better than this . Faultless service

I had a GP appointment at Spire St Anthony’s, which we have used for many years. GP very apologetic, but said he could only refer me to the NHS or another private hospital, as Spire no longer do "medical". It seems they are now a surgical arm of the NHS. I now wonder what I am paying for with Spire health insurance.

I had a left hip replacement done at this hospital in September 2026.
Mr Kotecha the surgeon did a great job and kept me informed every step of the way. I had minimal pain and the pain I did have was controlled very well.
Nursing staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the food was good, the wards are spotless. I can fully reccomend this hospital.

Went in for total hip replacement. Felt safe and well cared for throughout. Everyone was friendly and professional - in particular Karl in the ECU - what an absolute star! This guy really knew his stuff and I felt extremely safe in his care.

Self funding patient, just on the waiting list for a right knee mri! I had my appointment cancelled the morning of the scheduled m.r.i! As spire Cardiff had a health and safety concern. Regarding the non water supply to the wholebuilding. I wasn't re contacted to reschedule the appointment?! Waited over 4 weeks for any communication about appointment? I'd constantly call up regarding my outstanding appointment, main reception would answer my enquiry and say they would leave a message with radiology & mri unit. To call me back?! This never happened, I called Cardiff spire every week and had the same answer or a message saying 'sorry we are busy with other patients to take your call?! Since then I've heard absolutely nothing? Over 8 weeks have gone past! Absolutely outraged I'm trying to pay for my own treatment/investigation to get a diagnosis in trauma in right knee, a result of a assault which has left me debilitated and in enormous pain and discomfort and extremely frustrated! Which has now been exassabatted by your very poor customer service. Have since been seen by NHS which says it all.

Staff were attentive and caring. The staff attended to me promptly and were respectful. Good facilities and very good hygiene standards .

The staff made it a great experience, everyone had time for you and I was never made to feel anything was a bother. That is important when you feel vulnerable.

Surgeon Ms G Oni. Spire hospital group. Second to none. Exceptionally caring. Her quality & skills are of a very high standard giving the patient what is wanted & required. I would recommend this Surgeon to anyone I loved & cared about as I truly feel I can trust her.

I was admitted for a total hip replacement. Without exception, the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful.

Promised treatment but then refused and was misdiagnosed by both consultants been ripped off hospital had to put up with the pain for months had a major impact on my physical and mental health. I've been in tears about it. Took three thousand pound for visits and did nothing this is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. Been able to get the treatment on the NHS for free. They are a bunch of crooks that was money left by my late grandad. Avoid at all costs!

My operation went to plan and I felt really well cared for by every member of staff I met during my stay.

The quality of care from all the staff was exceptional, from the moment I arrived, throughout the procedure, and right through to my discharge. Everyone was professional, attentive and caring. This is exactly how hospital care should be.
