I order some Lacrosse women hunting boots for $63.94 To good to be true , the payment when through, however I went back to check and the cancel my order, immediate i look up BBB and found many complaints about this company, Glad I use paypal ,they are investigating it now

Tried to order a pair of boots 2 days before Thanksgiving. Everytime I hit submit on the payment it would load and not go through. I tried again the next day this time with a coat and the boots it went through. I picked the next day express shipping for 20 dollars extra. I would highly recommend against this. Now I understand I ordered the day before a holiday so I expected 2 day shipping but no instead they told me it wouldn't come till the following Monday. So I called and asked for my 20 back do to them not specifying holidays and weekends is not included in next day shipping or if you order after a certain time of the day. They refused but assured me it would be here that Monday. Well Monday came and gone and still no package. I called them again and asked for my 20 back because their next day shipping has now turned into 7 day shipping. They refused again. Made up some excuse on how it's still next day shipping. I will not be ordering anything from them again and I'll be returning the items I did order. They are a trash company. I would of picked the free or 5 dollar shipping it would of got here in the same amount of time. They do not honor there shipping nor do they put any fine detail on all the excuses they gave me when picking the next day shipping. I'll be letting all my hunting buddies know and not to order from them as well.

O had ordered an x-bow through Sportsmans. They waited until the very day it was supposed to arrive to let me know that they was unable to keep there end of the bargain. Said it's because of inventory issues. Now they did refund all my money back, but waited until the very day I was supposed to receive the item before letting me know. Very unprofessional. They'll never receive another order from me!!!

I mean I got the order and at a decent price, but this membership bullshit is 100% a scam. I didn’t even ask to sign up for it, it did it automatically and charged me 14.99 on top of my order. What the hell, guys? Why do this?

This site is nothing but a scam. Stay away. First they trick you into free shipping by tacking on a $14.99 charge to make you a member automatically. Then you'll get a $59.95 charge on your credit card for the year instead of the 3 months they say. Then you cannot cancel the order as they ship (so they say) immediately. Then when you go to return the item they keep the $14.99 they tagged you with for the membership. Stay away from these guys as this is a definate scam. I'll be returning the item and disputing the $14.99 charge on my credit card with my card company. This company is definately what is wrong with America!

I had purchased some military (fireproof) women's sports bras from this company. I agreed to up the charge to $14.99 to get better postage rates, should I order more items from them. Apparently that $14.99 was only for 3 months and somehow got me in the queue for them to charge (autobill, no alert) $59.95 for the year. I ended up calling and having them rebate that charge and have decided that I will vote with my feet and purchase further items elsewhere.

Terrible customer service and their website lies about items being in stock. Do not order from this company. They do not honor their prices or inventory. They will cancel your order and throw a $5 coupon in your face.

Do not order large items from SG they are not capable of shipping large items. I ordered two feeders and one of them came in with no legs due to the boxes are being held together with tape They send me another feeder and the box was destroyed again this one had legs and no motor. I waited for weeks for a return label or a phone call to send the feeder back them they went into my bank account and took the full amount for a complete feeder out without contacting or asking me. I had been a member since 2019 and now I cannot trust SG with my bank account anymore. To sum it up SG has stolen money from my account without asking and charge me full price for a feeder with no legs or motor . This is a criminal company DONOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BANK ACCOUT. YOU WILL REGRET IT

I have NEVER had a problem with SG and I've been ordering from them since 2018. The complaints about membership & customer service are not what I have experienced: you can sign into your account and there is a spot where you can untick 'automatic membership renewal' so you are not charged for continuation of a membership you no longer need/want. They offer a 3 month trial of their Buyer's Club membership for $14.99 which is well worth it if you buy a lot of ammo (for the free shipping) or plan on making some major purchases. There are regular discounts for Club members (with exclusions, of course) with the occasional INCLUSION of discounted ammo. As with anything, one must read the fine print. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews since I have also dealt with their customer service on 2 occasions with my order issues being quickly resolved. (My only complaint is their retail store is no longer open in St. Paul.)

Their deals SUCK. The marked off price is usually 20 bucks above retail. The only good deal I was going to purchase went out of stock right I was checking it out with an error which was really disappointing. They are also super unreliable with their shipping.

Watch the shipping charges. My order ended up being more than double and there was nothing stated about the extra charges. Shady!

Will sign you up for annual fees without permission and draw $ without notice. Never use them

I ordered a Minn Kota 80lb thrust Trolling motor and a 55 lb thrust arrived. Their website is very misleading and showed the 80lb was what I ordered. When speaking with customer service I was told that was what I had ordered and what was shipped was correct. I pointed out that the website information was wrong, and they agreed to make the corrections. I also was told that I have to take it to a Fed X site to return. What they should have said was I realize the mistake and will get the correct Trolling motor out and we will pick up the other when the new one is delivered. This is exactly why Amazon does so well, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will not visit this site and place an order again.

Classic Bait and Switch Time for class action suit. Paid for item December 2023 and still fighting to receive. Have to constantly accept their terms to keep item they want to cancel every month. They refuse to fix the problem or refund price paid. CAUTION DO NOT BUY FROM THEM CON ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a predatory business. On the one hand they ask in emails if you want to renew your membership. You say no, but at the same time they charge your credit card number anyway! Never again will I buy from them.

I had a great experience with Sportsman Guide. At first I was a little hesitant, because there are some negative reviews online, although most are associated with the club membership. I avoided that, and thank you all for the fair warning.
It was easy to shop for and find what I wanted. It was clear what was in stock or not. My purchase was shipped out right away, with excellent communication throughout the process and easy ability to track every step. It arrived in mint condition, faster than expected, and having been packaged well.
Overall, thorough and professional. This comment is not meant to be contentious. I just wanted to report a good experience to compare with some negative ones. Again, I did not join the club membership, which admittedly looks suspicious.
Lastly, I should mention the price was very good. But price is never my first concern with firearms. I will always pay a little more for great service and reliability.
I recommend the site and will continue to buy from them myself.

took down a legitimate product review. I ordered an item only to find out it was a cheap chi-com knock off. I wrote my review as such and they wouldn't publish it. SG used to be good, but a lot of their products now are chi-com. I won't support communist china knowingly.

Ordered from them in 2022. Last year, 2023 they processed a fraud charge for $49. for a membership I did not buy. I did not catch it. Then last month another fraud charge of $59. for another membership I did not purchase.

I initially ordered an out of stock item from sportsman's guide in Dec '23 with the expectation that it would be available in a couple weeks as stated online at the time. I added the 3 month membership to my order to get a reduced price and used a $10 coupon that they offered for signing up via email. After the initial order I attempted to take advantage of the membership that was purchased however the membership did not show on my account and I was not able to take advantage of the member savings they offered. I attempted this in December and January with out luck but figured my membership was not processed yet since my item was backordered (apparently this was not correct). I received an email in January stating my backordered item was not yet available and received a new estimated shipping date. The email noted "If you'd like to keep your backordered item, no action is required." which I took literally to mean there was no action required (again, literal interpretations do apply at this company). Throughout this time I checked my order status several times and noted my item was still backordered. All appeared on track despite not being able to use the membership which I assumed would take effect when the item was in stock. Then in mid-February I received an email that my "membership" (which I was not previously able to use) was set to automatically renew in 30 days for $59.99. This led me to investigate to find that my order had been cancelled (without any communication) and my 3 month membership was now active and set to expire in a month. I called the company's service desk to figure out what had transpired. The service representative informed me that since I took no action in response to a prior email they simply cancelled my order. Further they were not able to reinstate my order and I had to effectively order the product again. When I noted the issues with the membership being available, the representative (after multiple supposed discussions with their supervisor) was not willing to extend the membership to make up for the prior lost months of use. After almost two hours of back and forth with the support representative, they offered a $10 coupon to their site which to date (10 days later) has not been received. I am hopeful that the product will eventually be in stock and delivered however I would never recommend to anyone that they purchase through Sportsman's Guide.

I ordered military airborn bunny boots. I waited a month and received knock offs with broken and missing grommets. No response from sportsmans. This is just another company that built its company model around malfeasance. Caveat Emptor!!
