Professional service.. delivered on time by a great driver who called to keep us updated , staircase was exactly as we ordered and fit perfectly.
Highly recommend company

StairBox has produced for me a partially assembled staircase in 33mm pine. The design process is reasonably straightforward, although time consuming as you work your way through a variety of possible combinations of step number and stair width, rise, & going dimensions to try and get the final design to match your required dimensions, with clearance. I used the minimal clearance and made things difficult for myself. The staff were quick and helpful at answering the questions I had. The delivery was on time and straightforward although it was important to have extra people to make the moving of the largest pre assembled flight easier. The staircase is only partially completed at this point, but it looks really good. The only minor problem I have is that there are a small number of imperfections in some of the parts. I may not even bother mentioning them to StairBox. I would happily recommend StairBox, and would use them again.

Stairs came exactly as described and at the agreed date.

Here’s a review focused on the online made-to-measure experience:

★★★★★ Brilliant staircase, all ordered online — couldn’t be easier

Really impressed with how simple the whole process was, especially given it was all done online. The website made it easy to input our measurements and choose the style, finish, and spindles we wanted, with clear guidance at every step so we felt confident we were ordering the right thing without ever needing a home visit.

Despite being made to measure remotely, the fit was spot on — every dimension matched perfectly when it arrived, which honestly exceeded our expectations for something ordered without an in-person consultation. The quality of the staircase itself is excellent too; solid construction, lovely finish, and clearly built to last.

Delivery was well organised and communication throughout was good, with updates on order status so we always knew where things stood. Fitting was straightforward thanks to how accurately everything had been measured and cut.

Highly recommend if you’re wondering whether you can trust a made-to-measure staircase ordered entirely online — you absolutely can. Great value and a genuinely smooth experience start to finish.

Very helpful on delivery change and perfect fit as always thankyou
